ITV The Masked Singer winner's 'must-see' film is now available to stream
Frozen fans can now relive the magic of the West End musical, starring Samantha Barks The Masked Singer winner Samantha Barks' "must-see" film is now available to stream. Samantha famously clinched the title in the sixth series of the popular ITV singing contest in February, with Gregory Porter and Marti Pellow coming in second and third place, respectively. Concealed behind the memorable Pufferfish mask, Samantha delivered a variety of pop and musical theatre classics. Viewers will recall her captivating performance of Chappell Roan's Good Luck, Babe, Teddy Swims' Lose Control, and Don't Rain on My Parade from Funny Girl. In the grand finale, Samantha performed a breathtaking duet with McFly's Danny Jones, belting out Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler, reports Surrey Live. Samantha first shot to fame in 2008 as one of the finalists in I'd Do Anything - the BBC talent hunt for a fresh face to play Nancy in the West End revival of Oliver! Since then, she has graced the stage in several hit musicals, including Cabaret, Chicago, and Pretty Woman. After portraying Éponine in Les Misérables on the West End, producer Cameron Mackintosh selected Samantha to reprise the role in the 25th Anniversary Concert of the show, and in the 2012 musical film. Her rendition of On My Own remains one of the most celebrated performances to date, even making it onto the Billboard Hot 100 upon its release. Most recently, she played Elsa in the West End production of Frozen, which ran from August 2021 to September 2024. Frozen enthusiasts can now experience the enchantment all over again as the stage production, captured at the stunning Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London, is available to stream. The acclaimed Broadway and West End musical, which draws inspiration from Disney's hit film, was recorded early last year and made its debut on Disney+ today (Friday, June 20). Samantha takes on the role of the enchanting Queen Elsa, with Laura Dawkes portraying her lively younger sister Anna. Completing the principal line-up are Jammy Kasongo as Kristoff, Craig Gallivan as the lovable Olaf, Oliver Ormson playing Hans, and Richard Frame as the Duke of Weselton. Audiences can expect a dazzling display of music and magic on stage, complete with awe-inspiring surprises and top-notch special effects. In addition to the beloved original songs, the show introduces 12 new musical numbers. In a conversation with the WhatsOnStage podcast in March, Samantha expressed her delight at the prospect of her 20-month-old son, Rafael, being able to see her performance on Disney+. "It's really exciting. It was a really beautiful moment when we found out we were going to do that because you're doing a show like Frozen, which means so much to me professionally and personally," she said. "Having Raffi, I was thinking, 'Oh, he'll never see it'. And then you find out you're going to be filmed for Disney Plus, and it's like, 'Wow, it'll live on forever'. My nieces can watch it everyday and Raffi can watch it if he wants to." The West End production has been showered with accolades, as one theatre-goer exclaimed: "Magnificent is an understatement. I was overwhelmed with emotion at the whole thing, loved every minute." Equally impressed, another remarked: "I was blown away by the West End production. The singing is stirring, the orchestration is phenomenal, the visual effects are stunning! I was moved to tears," while someone else proclaimed: "It's the best stage musical. A truly must see production of this generation." Frozen the Musical is available to stream on Disney+

Kelsey Parker slammed after admitting she refuses to put suncream on her kids
Tom Parker's wife Kelsey Parker has come under fire after admitting that she doesn't use suncream on her kids - and will only use organic sunscreen to protect their skin during the summer Pregnant Kelsey Parker has been slammed for admitting she doesn't put suncream on her children claiming it 'causes skin cancer'. The mum-of-two - married to The Wanted's Tom Parker who died in 2022 - made the shock confession in the latest episode of her Mum's The Word! podcast with pal Georgia Jones. When Georgia, 38, asked for advice on how to apply suncream on her son without causing a tantrum, Kelsey said she prefers to keep her children out of the sun instead of putting SPF on them. She said: 'It's cause he knows, Georg. It's bad for you - that sunscreen.' Kelsey, who is now expecting her first baby with boyfriend Will Lindsay, added: 'My kids do not wear suncream. The only thing that I may put on them is an organic suncream. My kids, we went on holiday, I never put suncream on them and they do not burn. But you've been putting suncream on probably since birth." The 34-year-old even claimed that 'suncream is so bad' and 'we never used to wear suncream, suncream causes skin cancer'. Georgia, who is married to McFly star Danny Jones, said that her son would look like a tomato if she didn't put suncream on him. Kelsey replied: 'Just keep him out of the sun. 'I have got an organic, made out of beeswax, really no bad stuff in it suncream that when you put on, it doesn't absorb into your skin. You look white when you put it on because it's not got c*ap in it. It's not c*ap filled with all that stuff.' Shocked Georgia said: 'I just wasn't expecting this was they way it was going to go. I thought you was just going to give me advice on how to do it.' Kelsey has since come under fire online from listeners who slammed her for spreading 'dangerous information,' as reported by NeedToKnow. Amy said: 'This is really dangerous spreading this information. Please research.' Katie added: 'This is insane and so unsafe. It's so damaging, burning doesn't indicate sun damage, it can literally kill them. Wow.' Nina said: 'Really dangerous advice.' Another added: 'Just irresponsible to be honest.' While someone else agreed: "As someone who had lost family members to skin cancer this is such dangerous advice.' However, one person agreed with Kelsey as they said: 'She's absolutely right. The less ingredients the better.' Kelsey had two children - Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four - with Tom, who was diagnosed with terminal glioblastoma in 2020 and died from the disease in March 2022 at the age of 33. Glioblastoma is a type of cancer starting with a growth of cells in the brain or spinal cord. She is now expecting a baby with Will after finding love again.

Georgia Jones 'lost her sparkle' amid postnatal depression
Georgia Jones "lost [her] sparkle" amid her struggles with postnatal depression. The 38-year-old model - who is married to McFly star Danny Jones - has opened up about her 18-month struggle with postnatal depression, which followed the birth of her son Cooper in January 2018. During an appearance on This Morning, Georgia shared: "I always say I felt like I lost my sparkle. "You know, when you look back at photos from back then, I always look at myself and I think - this is going to make me upset - I think she wasn't there." Georgia admits that she initially struggled to form a bond with Cooper. The model - who has been married to Danny since 2014 - said: "Cooper is our absolute world, and it's hard to imagine, but the immense love I have for him now wasn't there right from the beginning." Georgia also struggled to rationalise her own feelings. She reflected: "It wasn't that instant gushy, 'Oh my gosh, I love my baby so much' and I think because I didn't feel that, I then put so much pressure on myself. "I was just not the best person to be around because I was just low." Georgia actually felt as though she was "failing at being a mum" at the time. She said: "I felt like I was failing at being a mum, really failing at being a mum, and I didn't want that, nothing in me wanted to feel the way I was feeling. "You try and you try, each day you wake up and you're like, 'OK, hopefully I'll feel better today' and then you don't. Then you're like, 'Why? What's wrong with me?'" However, Georgina's life was transformed when she started attending therapy sessions for postnatal depression. She shared: "I had postnatal depression and despite trying to mask it, those closest to me knew I wasn't coping. "Danny definitely noticed that I wasn't myself. What he found hard was that he couldn't fix it and he didn't know how to solve the problem. "After 18 months of struggling in silence, I finally reached out. I went to therapy and honestly, it was the best thing I've ever done." This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
