Improvements from the last drive unit, Enduro, include Maximus's smaller size, lighter weight, lower cost, and simpler manufacturing, achieved by reducing its fasteners by 30%. Maximus's inverter, converting direct current (DC) energy to alternating current (AC) energy, is now side-mounted, providing additional clearance for the lower R2.
