Brickfield Rangers prepare to test themselves in Cymru North
Gareth Wilson's side are heading into the new campaign on the back of a terrific season, which saw them claim the Ardal North East League title to secure promotion to the second tier. Brickfield have confirmed the signing of experienced forward Alex Darlington. Darlington arrives at the club with an impressive pedigree, having represented a number of top clubs throughout his career, including the likes of Wrexham, The New Saints, Airbus, Aberystwyth, Cefn Druids and Maltese side Mosta. The former Wales U19s and U23s international is a proven goalscorer and highly respected figure within the game and he is sure to bring leadership, quality and invaluable experience to the squad. Darlington told the club's Facebook page: "I'm really looking forward to getting started and contributing as much as I can on and off the pitch. "I know Gaz and the coaching staff well, and that connection played a big part in my decision to join the club." Wilson added: "Securing a player of Alex's calibre is a real statement of intent from the club. "I'm absolutely delighted to have him on board and am looking forward to working closely with him. His experience, professionalism, and quality will be a massive asset to our group." Former Wrexham, Shrewsbury, Bolton and Colwyn Bay player Danny Jones is one new addition who is sure to bring quality to the squad. The attacking midfielder told the club's Facebook page: 'I'm hungry to make a big impact this season and help the team in any way I can,' Brothers Matty and Ryan Williams are further new additions to Rangers' squad ahead of the forthcoming season. Matt admitted: "I'm thrilled to officially join Bricky and be part of this exciting project. "The gaffer has shared his vision and expectations for the season and I'm fully committed to contributing my best on and off the pitch. "I can't wait to get started, work hard with the team and help us achieve great things together." Ryan added: "Excited to join Brickfield. Can't wait to meet the lads and get the new season started." Team boss Wilson said: "Bringing Matty and Ryan into the squad is a big step forward for us. "Matty is a natural leader with great composure and experience, and Ryan brings real quality and drive. "He's got bags of potential and the hunger to take his game to the next level. "I've no doubt he'll become a fan favourite. I'm buzzing to get both lads on board - they understand what we're building here at Bricky and are fully on board with the direction we're going." It's not all about the new signings, with plenty of last season's title-winning squad remaining on board with the club. Andy Vale, last season's top scorer in the league for the club with 22 goals, is staying on for the Cymru North tilt, alongside the likes of Tom Williams, Dom Doherty, Jay Richardson, Isaac Dawson, Aden Fox, Ben Dawson, Ryan Lancelotte and Kian Thomas. Gerson Silva Neto, goalkeeper Ryan Price, Lewis Clamp, Callum Roberts, Simon Smith, Harry Fuller and Leroy Stamp are others to be retained by Rangers.

When there's pizza on the table, everyone wants to get a look in, and we couldn't hold back from sharing that Gozney, one of the best pizza oven manufacturers, is launching a new limited edition oven. What's more, the launch is in partnership with chef, actor, and television personality Matty Matheson. What's there to be excited about? The limited-edition version of Gozney's Tread pizza oven has undergone a makeover; rather than the Olive or Black colorway, it now features a bright orange design with cartoon extras on the side. It's available direct from Gozney for $549, and although you can't purchase it just yet, you can sign up for it on Gozney's website. Matheson, best known for his work on the show 'The Bear', where he plays the character Neil Fak, has been collaborating with Gozney for 10 years. He brings his fun and approachable manner to his work, which is certainly reflected in the bold design of the limited-edition Signature version. We love the engraved cartoon accents that feature on the exterior of the stainless steel pizza oven, which are drawn by Matty's illustrator, Christopher Wilson. Gozney's new limited-edition pizza oven is bright, bold, and very fun
As a long-time Gozney fan (the Dome S1 is basically a permanent fixture in my garden these days and sits atop our best pizza oven guide), I get a bit excited when they drop something new. Today's announcement is one for the pizza-loving maximalists: a limited-edition version of the super-portable Tread oven, created in collaboration with none other than Matty Matheson, the Emmy-winning chef, TV personality, and star of The Bear. The Matty Matheson Signature Tread is Gozney's most colourful product yet. It's finished in a zingy orange and covered in nostalgic cartoon-style artwork from Matheson's long-time collaborator Christopher Wilson. It's a very joyous and slightly chaotic thing. The release includes matching placement peels and merch (hat, tee, sweatshirt), and slots into Gozney's 'Cook Different' summer campaign – where Matheson plays an over-the-top infomercial host. It's all very silly, but very on brand. Despite the fun exterior, the Matty Tread is still all business under the hood. Like the original Tread, which launched earlier this year and bagged an iF Good Design award, it heats to 500°C in 15 minutes and uses Gozney's clever lateral gas burner for even heat and a true wood-fired-style rolling flame. Accessories like the Venture Stand (with its adjustable legs for uneven terrain) and Roof Rack prep table all work with this version too, so you can still kit it out like a proper mobile pizza station. Tom Gozney says the collab's been a long time coming: 'Matty's been part of the Gozney story almost since the beginning… it felt natural – and overdue – to create something together.'
