58 Treats Since Adults Don't Get A Summer Vacation

A Turmeric Overnight Wrapping Peel Off Mask (from viral K-Beauty brand Medicube) with such stellar results, it'll make you think this skincare deserves a Michelin star. Or three. They've whipped up a turmeric treat with a recipe of vitamin C, kojic acid, and collagen to brighten and even out your skin. Wear this at night and ~drumroll please~ PEEL it off in the morning. That sounds so satisfying. Delicious, even. A mini charm bracelet FOR YOUR TUMBLER, because your water bottle is your BFF and it deserves a best friend bracelet to prove it! A pair of Bottega Veneta-inspired pilot shield sunglasses with the style, weight, and teeny tiny attention to detail that makes them unnervingly close to the $699 version. Like, do we have to sell our souls along with that $15? Because I mean, even at that it. A shower lamp that, fair warning, somehow jumped into my own shopping cart of its own volition. This was designed by an aesthetic-saving ANGEL who clearly knows nothing ruins a soothing shower like overhead lighting. Every time you wash up with this on, you'll feel a *little bit* smarter than everyone else. At least, everyone who hasn't thought to get themselves a shower lamp yet. Is it in your cart yet? You better check. A high-neck tee with the same blessedly buttery texture of Skims tops, without the sky-high price point. This fit is so spot-on you might end up considering this a second skin, and there are more than enough colors to make that a reality! Laneige's Neo Blurring Powder — this'll absorb oil and blur pores without *any* makeup applying skills required. Seriously, if the thought of primer, foundation, setting powders, and such keeps you from solving your oily skin, this stuff is your solution! Just press it on and watch your skin become picture-day ready in an instant. A set of hair-tie bracelets, because summer equals random neck sweat, and being able to tie your hair up in an instant is a must. Don't suffer from an aesthetic ruining (kiss! of! death!) black hair tie around your wrist — go ahead and snag these cuties instead. A pair of colorful boxer shorts you'll be wearing every DANG day of your life after first trying them on. Okay, maybe mostly at night. Or to the bodega. Or out at the park. Throughout your entire summer vacation? Whoops...I've circled back to everyday again. These clearly wanna be more than pajama pants. Go ahead, let them. A neck and shoulder relaxer designed to provide ergonomic support, align your spine, and soothe tension in your shoulders and neck simply by lying down and enjoying a 10-minute nap. If you're hunched over a phone or computer all day and/or carry stress in your neck and shoulders, this is the tool for you! And speaking from experience, this completely changed my posture for the better. I've been raving about this cervical neck pillow for YEARS! Enchanted Creatures — if you're already an Autumnalwood fan, you know how great this treat is gonna be. The storybook-like collection is filled with forestcore cuties like wizard frogs, traveling mushroom buds, flowers that are in looove, and a heckin' slew of other cuties. And if you weren't already aware of the illustrator, then welcome to the club. We're happy to have you. It's VERY happy on this side of the internet. A cult-fave supportive seamless compressive bodysuit for budget-focused consumers who love *everything* about the similar Skims version, aside from the price. And at a price this nice, you should probably get more than one. It's for the best. A *heated* ice cream scoop — a practical purchase to help make sure you get to your ACTUAL treat faster, and without the risk of spraining your wrist from the strain of scooping frozen rocky road. (It could happen!) A set of toilet bolt caps for anyone who has decorated their home from top to bottom but still wants to make fun updates to their place. What's that?! You still have boring, old toilet bolt caps?! Well, that's a problem you can now solve. Whew! A stunning minimizer bra with the power to basically give you a surgery-free breast reduction with some ultimate seduction. The comfortable sheer mesh and lace details are oh-so-sexy that, despite the impressive results when worn under shirts, you may find yourself too distracted looking at your gorgeous shelf (oops, I mean, self) to wanna put clothes on over it. Reviewers rave about the bra's ability to support breasts while minimizing bulk without the awkward separating and squishing that often result from lesser bras. A pomade hair wax stick for creating a strong, grease-free hold for ALL hair types. The formula slides on easily and creates a smooth look (screw you, humidity! You don't OWN me!) without being greasy or shiny — even if you're applying it and brushing your hair out. A fire and ice candle kit that'll transform from a ring of ice into a mini serenity pool as the tea candle inside melts the ice around it. Treat yourself to a summertime candle that's equal parts subtle and surprising. A Java Sock for doing the two most important things for your beloved iced coffees ( drinks. I know people drink other drinks!) 1) It'll keep that caramel almond milk cold brew cold for ages — hours, according to reviewers — and 2) It'll keep your drink from sweating into your cupholder or all over your desk. It's a cruel twist of fate that iced coffee sweats as much as we do in the spring and summer. A pack of wall plant clips (a whopping SIXTY of them, in fact) sure to delight pothos-lovers who have vines wrapped around every nook and cranny of their living room, just waiting for the day when they can spread out around the room. These gentle clips are paint-safe and sticky on the back, so you can display vines without using nails or aesthetic-killing clips. Fila platform sneakers (available in every color under the sun) with added chunky padding that'll help you get some extra height *without* wearing heels. Medicube's "Zero Pore" Pads, a beloved Korean skincare secret with a magical mix of lactic and salicylic acid that'll redefine what "smooth" means to your skin. The dual-textured toner pads both exfoliate and refine your pores, making your face feel positively silky soft. A microwavable manatee plush — you're sure to warm up to this little pal in an instant. Whether you're feeling freezy or aching from period pains, this *lavender-scented* critter is gonna be the solution. Just toss it into the microwave and then snuggle up! Aches, chills, and lack-of-a-manatee-friend loneliness are gonna be gone in an instant! Kahi Wrinkle Bounce Hydrating Multi-Balm, a must-have K-beauty product for anyone trying to achieve gorgeous, glowing, glass skin. This all-in-one moisturizer is formulated for your lips, eyes, and neck, which is one of the many reasons it's been such a sensation on TikTok. This uses salmon complex and collagen to reduce fine lines while enhancing your skin with a smooth, hydrating glow for a "just out of the shower" effect. A RobeCurls heatless hair curler — this satin-covered rod is designed to curl your hair while you sleep, and it's damage-free! Skip the heat tools and just wrap damp hair around the plush curler at night. Then FALL ASLEEP, and it'll do the rest. Wake up, pull this outta your hair, and enjoy your blowout-worthy curls with your perky spring dresses! A pickleball set with two paddles, two balls, a net bag, AND a Little Women-worthy pair of patterns so darn darling you may find yourself too dazzled to hit anything with them. The set works great for the game, but feel free to skip the exercise and just enjoy picnicking beside a beautiful pair of paddles. A bed canopy that'll be a seasonally stunning way to replace the winter twinkle lights in your bedroom, making it feel airy and bright now that the spring weather has you opening up your windows again. Bio-Collagen's Real Deep sheet mask so you can treat yourself to a rejuvenating facial while you sleep. The mix of hydrating hyaluronic acid, pore-minimizing collagen, and probiotics work together while you're resting to protect and heal your skin from the inside out. And don't worry about your pillowcase. This product is a professional. It's transfer-resistant — no mess included. A tomato table lamp that's less than half the cost of the Urban Outfitters' version (which is always sold out), and reviewers think it's even better! This is sure to ~produce~ some smiles from everyone who sits in your living room! A set of extra soft cooling bedsheets reviewers say feel like sleeping at a luxurious hotel. If you've found falling asleep a chore because of tossing, turning, and *sweating* at night, then treat yourself to these cult-favorite sheets! A bottle of Elizavecca hair treatment which, like Olaplex, has repairing properties like collagen and protein extracts to aid in hair health. Apply this after you shampoo, let it sit for 5 minutes (where you can race through a shave or a song in the shower — you do you), and then rinse it out. Stronger hair care, here we come! Waldorf woodland creatures — each open-ended shape is designed with holes that'll easily fit different twigs, stems, petals, and leaves you find while on nature walks. If you wanna spend more time outside but need a *purpose* to get yourself on a walk — creating tiny woodland creatures may be just the thing! A fake cake compact mirror so you can enjoy a dessert you'll be able to feast your eyes on forever. A bestselling succulent sun catcher that's gonna make you thank the universe for the talented crafter in this world who has found a way to make glass beads this beautiful. Make the plant parents in your life jealous of *your* botanical setup for once! A *literal* butter blanket so buttery soft you just might find yourself turning the AC on a smidge too high simply as an excuse to cuddle up in this. As my grandmother always says (Hi, Grandma!), "Everything's better with butter." Including our bedding. A "dog bed for humans" — this perfectly plush piece of furniture is made for dog people who want to be *dog* people. Your friends (and their pets) are gonna be begging you to scoot over and make room. A book nook kit complete with motion-sensor LED lights that'll glow every time you pass by your bookshelf, creating an extra element of magic beside your impressive romantasy collection. The 3D puzzle is made of wood and includes dozens of flat sheets with images that'll need to be punched out, folded into shape, and then carefully pieced together to create the intricate space. A dehydrated sourdough starter for anyone ready to jump into the deep end of a sourdough lifestyle. This is dehydrated at "peak activity" (which my bread-baking husband says means something, though I don't remember what) and has step-by-step instructions. Plus, it includes the shop owner's favorite discard recipe! A mid-rise mesh midi that's giving sun print cyanotype vibes, sure to have your old high school AP art self all aflutter. Snif's Dead Dinosaur perfume for anyone who loves the smell of gas stations so much they dream of a world where they can shower under the gas nozzle like it's gosh darn body wash. This body spray really does have notes of gasoline along with pink pepper, ginger, cedar wood, and magnolia flower. Steve Madden sandals that'll be the high-end swap you didn't know you needed. Reviewers say these are basically the same as those $700+ Hermès you'll still be able to afford rent after you get them! A ceramic incense dish for folks who prefer an aesthetic with products that are equal parts functional and beautiful. A Revlon hot air brush designed with open-ended vents for optimum airflow, taking your wet, tangled, frizzy hair and turning it into a shiny, salon-style blowout in mere minutes. A portable retro-style radio for folks who love modern music and an old-school aesthetic. The radio has built-in speakers and a handle, which makes it great for your living room *and* for picnics, days at the beach, and camping trips. A personalized book stamp that'll have all your book club buddies oohing and awwing over your impressive library. Plus, they'll never forget when they borrow a book from *you* ever again! A Lego flower bouquet featuring a ton of different blooms for creative folks who love covering their home in handmade masterpieces. An elevated laptop tote bag so *dang* good looking you might feel like you should be working for it and not the other way around! A 4-in-1 makeup pencil, Live Tinted's Huestick Corrector for your eyes, lips, and cheeks. First, use this before applying foundation to neutralize dark circles. Once that foundation is on, you can reapply this as a buildable lip color, eyeshadow, or blush. A stuffed waffle maker — this applause-worthy appliance is designed with a deep, bowl-like griddle which allows you to cook the batter with fillings (we're talking chocolate, fruit, cheese, works). Upgrade your morning routine from frozen waffles to a homemade meal that'll look straight off a "best of" brunch menu. A magnetic cat eye gel nail polish kit for those of us who know most things can be fixed with a killer manicure. Not only will you get an onslaught of compliments, but you'll also be able to say, "Why thank you, I did them myself!" to boost that cool kid ego up even higher. Hot. A croissant juice glass so that even on perfect summer days when you aren't enjoying brunch on the patio of your favorite cafe, you can enjoy some freshly pressed juice from a glass so cute it's almost criminal. A tennis skort with a dreamy four-way stretch and moisture-wicking material for folks who spend the summer desperate to find outfits that won't be drenched in sweat at the end of the day. This precious piece has chic side slits, a high-rise waistband, and two hidden pockets. When I tell you I'm buying this in every color and wearing it all summer me (I already own it in black). A tube of Essence mascara, available in both black and brown, that'll make your lashes so long and full it'll look like you stole them right off of Harry Styles' angelic face. A pair of YogaToes gemstone stretchers — a splurge-worthy impulse purchase made with hypoallergenic medical-grade gel, for folks who have hammer toe, bunions, plantar fasciitis, etc. Try tossing these in the freezer and treating your feet to a soothing, cooling treatment at the end of the day. Ahhh, I can feel the relief just thinking about that. A hooded shark "blanket" (really just an oversized onesie) you can scoot on into when movie night calls for some AC and extra cozy attire. Honestly, now that you know this *treasure* exists, it'd be fishy if you didn't get it. It's gonna be dropping ~Jaws~ at your next BFF slumber party — there's no doubt about that! An E.l.f. Camo Liquid Blush — a blendable and buildable blush (say that five times fast) with a lightweight formula and a powerful pigment. If you've worked hard on your glass skin technique, finish off your routine with a blush that's dewy and glossy to stay looking as smooth as glass. E.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter for achieving the same dewy no-makeup-makeup effect of Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter (but at a price that doesn't make you sweat). This also has a healthy dose of hydrating hyaluronic acid, your skin is gonna be glad to drink in every day. A chiffon hair bow clip that'll instantly elevate any outfit with its whimsical and elegant design. This piece is torn straight out of the pages of a Madeline picture book, I'm sure of it. I can practically hear Ms. Clavel shouting, "Veet, veet little girls — buy this one before it's gone!" Crocs Classic Clogs — the classic comfort shoe for people who believe more is more and bling is everything. A reviewer-favorite Alleyoop 4-in-1 makeup brush designed with an eyeshadow brush, a blush brush, a brow brush, *and* a blending sponge — all in one! This beauty tool is about to become your new best friend, adventuring with you (because it's small enough to fit in your bag for quick touch-ups) every single day.

The Best Hollywood Facialist-Approved LED Light Therapy Face Masks and Beauty Devices for Every Skin Concern

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, The Hollywood Reporter may receive an affiliate commission. In the world of high-tech beauty gadgets, LED (light-emitting diode) masks have become a regular — and more easily accessible — part of at-home skin-care routines. Gone are the days when the red light therapy devices were seen as pricey futuristic treatments — some of the best at-home LED face masks and devices are proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and scars; soothe rosacea; and treat inflammation. More from The Hollywood Reporter 'Gabby's Dollhouse Live!' Musical Is Coming to the U.S. Ahead of First Film: Here's When Tickets Go On Sale What Comes After the Labubu Craze? A Labubu Doll Protector The Best Travel-Friendly Makeup Bags and Vanity Cases for Every Type of Beauty Lover 'LED light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to penetrate the skin at varying depths, triggering natural biological responses,' board-certified internal medicine and aesthetic physician Dr. Glenicia Nosworthy tells The Hollywood Reporter. Light wavelengths are measured in nanometers (nm), each delivering 'unique benefits, so choosing the right one for your skin concerns is essential,' she adds. Nosworthy notes that there are four types of light wavelengths in LED beauty devices: Red light (620 to 700nm): 'Penetrates deeply into the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production.' Near-infrared or NIR (700-1200nm): 'Penetrates even deeper than red light to target muscles and joints.' Blue light (400-490nm): 'Targets the surface layer of the skin, killing acne-causing bacteria.' Green light (495-570nm): 'Affects skin pigmentation by calming overactive melanocytes.' Amid import tariffs on products coming from China, red light therapy devices are among the items that our shopping editors have seen rise in price. Foreo announced it was officially increasing prices as a result of the tariffs, and we've noticed products from Solawave and other brands go up by $5 to $10. At her Brooklyn medispa, Nosworthy offers her starry (and HIPAA-confidential) clientele dermal fillers, microneedling, platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) injections and more skin enhancements. Also on the menu is the celebrity-loved, red carpet-ready Glass Facial, a rejuvenating treatment that uses her collagen-stimulating topical polydioxanone (PDO) serum, hyaluronic acid and a microdose of Botox. LED light therapy was initially developed by NASA scientists in the early '90s, first for plant growth experiments in space and thereafter to boost the wound healing of astronauts. The light's wavelengths can go deep into body tissue to promote blood circulation and collagen production, which is why the skin-care industry jumped on the high-tech train to bring LED light therapy to top Hollywood spas. Related: The Best At-Home Laser Hair Removal Devices for Every Budget 'The use of light on skin is not a new technology, but as LEDs have improved and become more efficient, so have LED-based technologies,' Mike Poling, president of Lightwave, and a 16-year innovator in the field, previously told THR. He explains that the usage of LED lights on the skin helps to re-energize cells: 'This increase in energy helps our cells function more like they did when we were younger with the immediate effects being a release of endorphins, a reduction in inflammation, and an increase in lymphatic system activity to help detoxify the body.' Among the most popular LED face masks is the Dr. Dennis Gross DRx SpectraLite FaceWare Pro, which went viral when it launched in 2020 after stars including Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Lucy Hale and Halle Berry shared their quarantine selfies wearing the device. Since its debut, other red light therapy devices have landed on the market with even more features, such as cryotherapy, vibration therapy and more. Here, we've rounded up some of the best LED masks for a variety of budgets and skin-care goals, including red light therapy devices on sale at Amazon's Big Spring Sale. All products on our list are FDA-cleared as class II medical devices, and most (if not all) are eligible for HSA/FSA funds. Shop our top picks below, and scroll down for pro advice on how to choose the right device for you, what to look for in LED light therapy masks and the difference between 'FDA approved' and FDA-cleared devices. March 10, 2025: Updated this list to include additional product specs, such as number of LED lights, wavelengths, warranty periods and more. BEST OVERALL No. of LEDs: 132Wavelengths: Red (630nm), blue (415nm), NIR (830nm)Treatment modes: 4Usage: 5-15 minutes, 3-5 times weeklyPower output/irradiance: 128mW/cm2Portable/rechargeable: Yes; USB-CWarranty: 2 years $350 at Shark Beauty $350 at Amazon $350 at SEphora $350 at Ulta One of our top finds at CES 2025, Shark Beauty's new CryoGlo face mask is essentially a mini medispa in a box and has the highest power output (or irradiance) of all the picks on our list. Featuring Shark's iQLED technology for even and effective coverage, the LED light therapy facial device delivers four treatments that combine red, infrared and blue lights for addressing fine lines and wrinkles, acne, dark spots and tired eyes. In our hands-on testing, we've found that Shark's iQLED technology and mask design effectively and evenly covers every inch of our face. We especially loved the adjustable InstaChill cooling therapy with the medical-grade stainless steel pads for treating our puffy under-eyes. (When we got a sneak preview at CES in Las Vegas, the pads brought sweet relief to our tired eyes amid the dry indoor air at the busy tech show.) We also like that the adjustable straps accommodate our small notes that a 12-week study with 60 subjects found that users reported a decrease in the appearance of fine lines, redness and acne; firmer-looking skin and a more even complexion. MOST VERSATILE No. of LEDs: 132Wavelengths: Red (630nm), NIR (830nm)Treatment modes: 1Usage: 10-20 minutes, 3-5 times weeklyPower output: 50mW/cm2Portable/rechargeable: Yes; USB-CWarranty: 1 year $349 at HigherDose Made of flexible medical-grade silicone, HigherDose's Red Light Face Mask uses 132 LEDs to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, boosting collagen and elastin and minimizing redness. Choose 10- or 20-minute treatment times; the brand suggests using the mask three to five times a week to see results. Reviewers also love that the third head strap helps to keep the mask in place while moving, making this device one of the best LED masks to use while working out or doing chores. BEST VALUE No. of LEDs: 150Wavelengths: Red (630nm±5nm), yellow (590nm), green (520±5nm), cyan (490±5nm), blue (415nm±5nm), violet (390nm), whiteTreatment modes: 7Usage: 5-50 minutes, 2-3 times weeklyPower output: 30-80mW/cm2Portable/rechargeable: No; power supply requiredWarranty: 1 year $149.99 $179.99 17% off Buy at Amazon Aphrona's LED face mask features seven interchangeable color lights and 10 intensity/power levels, and can be used for up to 50 minutes — making it one of the most versatile options on our list. It offers the most popular red, blue and green treatments for addressing fine lines, wrinkles, acne, redness and pigmentation. The company says that a clinical trial shows that over 90 percent of mask users reported improvements in their skin's texture and moisture. The device also comes with a handy travel case. BEST TRAVEL-FRIENDLY No. of LEDs: 7Wavelengths: Red (630nm)Treatment modes: 1Usage: 12 minutes, 3-7 times weeklyPower output: 49.5-60.5 mW/cm2Portable/rechargeable: YesWarranty: 1 year $169 at Amazon Buy Kit at Solawave $134.56 $134.56 $189 at Ulta A favorite among Hollywood facialists and makeup artists, the Solawave 4-in-1 Radiant Renewal Wand is the best multi-use LED device for same-day skin prep and traveling. In addition to red LED light therapy for addressing fine lines and dark spots, the device also features galvanic current (low voltage electricity that's different than microcurrent) for better skin care absorption, warmth for soothing and reducing the appearance of dark circles and vibration for depuffing and massage therapy. We love the compact size for traveling (it's become a toiletry bag essential) and the feeling of the galvanic current and vibration on our skin. Hollywood pros agree with us: celebrity groomer Miho Suziki (who works with Cooper Koch) says the vibration 'helps to wake up the skin in the best way possible [and the warmth] helps with depuffing and adding a subtle radiant glow.' Katy Perry and Nicole Richie have said they use the device, and it's also in the red carpet kits of celebrity aestheticians Emily Cheng (who used it on client Gracie Abrams before the 2025 Grammys) and Melissa Imperial (who works with Jonathan Van Ness) and star makeup artist Georgie Eisdell (who uses it on client Dakota Johnson). Bonus: This mask also comes with a custom-designed neck attachment to target fine lines and wrinkles on the decolletage and country-specific plug adapters so you bring it with you around the world. There are several factors to consider as you're choosing the best LED device for yourself, says Nosworthy. Skin concerns, power output (or irradiance), size and design, safety, ease of use and budget are all important when selecting the right one. 'Choose FDA-cleared devices to ensure safety and efficacy, and look for built-in eye protection or use goggles if the device doesn't include them,' she says. If you want to target signs of aging (such as fine lines and wrinkles), 'choose a device with red or near-infrared light,' notes Nosworthy. Blue light is best for addressing acne, while green light is the most helpful for pigmentation or redness. 'Combination devices may include multiple wavelengths for versatile treatment.' She points out that 'higher power output means better penetration and faster results. Look for devices with a power output of at least 20-40mW/cm2 for effective treatment.' For those who are minding their budget, 'professional-grade devices may cost more but deliver faster results, while affordable options are available but may require more consistent use to see effects.' It's worth noting that not all LED face masks available online are safe or effected, which is why experts like Nosworthy recommend only buying FDA-cleared products. When an LED light therapy device is 'FDA-cleared,' it means that the Food and Drug Administration has reviewed the data provided by the manufacturer and determined that the product is safe and effective for its intended uses (such as treating wrinkles, acne and dark spots) class II medical device. Most, if not all, LED beauty tools fall under this category, as the process takes anywhere between several months to years. Long story short, no LED light therapy beauty devices on the market are FDA-approved. The government agency requires an extensive and rigorous five-step process that includes laboratory research, lab or animal testing, clinical tests and more that could take eight or more years. Because of this, experts recommend exercising caution before buying any LED beauty tools that are marketed as 'FDA-approved.' Nosworthy recommends using the devices as recommended by their manufacturer — typically three to five times a week — for maximum effectiveness. 'Always use on clean, dry skin to maximize absorption and apply hydrating or soothing products afterward to lock in benefits.' She reminds people to be patient: 'results often appear after four to eight weeks of regular use. By matching the wavelength to your specific skin concerns and ensuring the device meets safety and power standards, you can maximize the benefits of LED light therapy for your skincare routine.'Best of The Hollywood Reporter From 'Lady in the Lake' to 'It Ends With Us': 29 New and Upcoming Book Adaptations in 2024 Meet the Superstars Who Glam Up Hollywood's A-List Rosie O'Donnell on Ellen, Madonna, Trump and 40 Years in the Queer Spotlight
