Strictly Come Dancing 'in talks' with Celebs Go Dating and MAFS expert Strictly Come Dancing bosses are said to be in talks with a relationship expert, known for appearing on Celebs Go Dating and MAFS UK Celebs Go Dating agents Dr Tara, Paul C Brunson and Anna Williamson (Image: E4 ) Strictly Come Dancing executives are apparently keen to secure Celebs Go Dating and Married At First Sight UK guru Paul C Brunson for the next season of the BBC dance contest. Despite the show not returning until later in the year, speculation abounds as to who will be stepping onto the dance floor. ‌ Rumour has it that relationship consultant and television presenter Paul might be joining the lineup. The expert gained recognition among British viewers through his role on CGD and MAFS UK, and more recently, he appeared with Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden on Netflix's reality programme, Cheat: Unfinished Business. ‌ An insider revealed to The Sun the reasons why the showrunners are eager to enlist Paul for the competition: "Paul would be the ideal tonic to the dark clouds over Strictly as he's clean-cut, very intelligent and has no scandals to worry about." The source added: "They are now in discussion but he's met with producers a number of times." The Olympic champion's personality could act as an antidote to the negative atmosphere that has lately hung over Strictly. While there is a desire to have him onboard, discussions are still in the preliminary phase, reports the Mirror, which has contacted the BBC for comment. ‌ Strictly has faced a number of scandals, with one of the more notable issues emerging after the 2023 series where Amanda Abbington accused her professional dancing partner Giovanni Pernice of bullying. A series of bullying claims led Giovanni to temporarily retreat from public life amidst the controversy. However, after winning the Italian Strictly Come Dancing, he's now back in Britain engaging in various dancing ventures. Graziano Di Prima also found himself out of the show. The summer brought with it allegations that the Italian dancer had physically assaulted Zara, aged 28, an accusation he fervently rebuffs. ‌ Sir Mo Farah is also believed to be in talks about appearing on Strictly (Image: NurPhoto, NurPhoto via Getty Images ) He conceded that his "intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime." More info Strictly Come Dancing chiefs are reportedly eyeing up relationship guru Paul C Brunson for a spin on the upcoming series of the hit BBC dance contest. Despite the fact that the new season won't kick off until later in the year, there's already chatter about which celebs may be stepping onto the dance floor. Rumours suggest that relationship expert and television personality Paul could sashay his way into the line-up. Familiar to UK audiences from Celebs Go Dating (CGD) and Married At First Sight UK (MAFS UK), Paul has also partnered with Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden on Netflix's reality series, Cheat: Unfinished Business. A source tipped The Sun off as to why the Strictly honchos are keen to enlist Paul, saying: "Paul would be the ideal tonic to the dark clouds over Strictly as he's clean-cut, very intelligent and has no scandals to worry about." Further details indicate that "they are now in discussion but he's met with producers a number of times," reports the Mirror, which has approached the BBC for comment. (Image: Matt Monfredi / Channel 4) It emerged earlier this week that the showrunners are courting Sir Mo Farah. He's described as a "genuine national treasure" whose presence could counter the recent negativity around Strictly. The producers see him as an asset saying his personality could banish the show's recent negative atmosphere. Recently, Strictly has had to navigate through some turbulent waters. Post the 2023 series, Amanda Abbington levelled serious claims against professional dancer Giovanni Pernice, accusing him of bullying. Amanda raised eyebrows with accusations of bullying, which saw Giovanni stepping back from the limelight amidst the uproar. In contrast, Giovanni celebrated a victory on the Italian version of Strictly before returning to the UK for more dance endeavours. (Image: NurPhoto, NurPhoto via Getty Images) At a similar time, Graziano Di Prima found himself dropped from Strictly. That summer, there was chatter about Graziano having possibly kicked and hit 27 year old Zara, allegations he vehemently rejects. He conceded that his "intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime." More recently, Wynne Evans found himself cut from the Strictly live tour due to his actions. Wynne discussed a tumultuous period during his stint on Strictly in an appearance on This Morning, expressing how the negative publicity had deeply impacted his mental wellbeing. "I was at my lowest ebb, I wanted to end my life. I would have if I hadn't been surrounded by people," he confided to the presenters of the programme. Hero Married At First Sight UK star saves passenger from smashed car after crash

Married At First Sight UK star Amy Christophers was the first on the scene of a horror car crash in Cornwall on Saturday - but has been forced to confirm she's not injured after being inundated with messages A British reality TV star has spoken out amid concern she was involved in a horrific car crash. Amy Christophers, best known for appearing on E4 series Married At First Sight UK, has confirmed she wasn't injured in the incident and was actually a first responder. The 35-year-old, who now works as a sports presenter, has said that she has received multiple messages on social media from concerned fans after onlookers noticed her at the scene of the crash in Cornwall. ‌ But Amy has reassured worried followers that she was not injured or involved in the car accident, which occurred near Falmouth, Cornwall on Saturday. ‌ Amy, who says she was first on the scene, wasn't going to speak on the matter but has been prompted to release an official statement due to "rumours flying that she was injured." The reality TV star has recalled coming around a bend on the A393 between Lanner and Ponsanooth at 2pm on Saturday, June 7, to find two vehicles involved in a serious collision. Running to help the driver trapped in one of the cars, Amy says she quickly realised despite her fight reflexes kicking in, she had no idea what to do. "I was with my Mum when we drove round the bend near Ponsanooth to find ourselves first on the scene of an awful crash involving two cars. I don't want to talk about it in lots of detail, but I was helping someone who was trapped in a car." Running to the car Amy said her auto instinct just took hold. "I called the emergency services right away and they talked me through everything, they were amazing. And it meant I knew what to do to help everyone as I was being given step by step instructions. Somehow we got the situation under control." ‌ TV presenter Amy says she was swiftly identified at the scene, prompting numerous messages about her involvement in the incident, with some even sparking speculation that she was injured. Amy clarified: "I just want to make it clear that I was not hurt or involved in the accident, as I have had a few people asking. I was helping and I very quickly realised I didn't know what to do – it scared me a lot and made me realise we need to all learn more about first responder training for emergencies like this." The incident is said to be currently under investigation. Cornwall Live reported that a woman was left seriously injured after the crash. The publication claims police were called to the scene at around 2pm, following reports of a crash between a silver Toyota and blue Hyundai. And, the driver of one of the vehicles, a woman from Falmouth, was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske with serious injuries. Amy was one of the most memorable stars from the 2021 series of the widely popular E4 programme. The sports journalist was introduced to viewers when she walked down the aisle to meet (and marry) her partner, Josh Christie, for the very first time as part of a unique dating experiment. Unfortunately, their marriage on the show didn't work out but she did become a huge icon for being outspoken and keeping viewers' eyes glued to the screen.
