Mahindra XUV700 Facelift To Get XEV 9E's Triple-Screen Layout, Spyshots Reveal
Mahindra is currently readying the updated avatar of the XUV700 in India. Recently, the test mule of the SUV was spotted for the first time, revealing briefly about its exterior highlights. Now, the XUV700 test mule has been spotted again, and it gives us a hint about its interior. The latest test mule spied on test suggests that the Mahindra XUV700 will get a triple-screen layout, similar to the one we see in the all-electric XEV 9e. Mahindra XUV700 Facelift: Powertrain Expected The facelifted version of the Mahindra XUV700 is expected to retain its power unit from the current models. It is likely to get a 2.0-liter turbo petrol and a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine options, mated with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter option. Also, Mahindra may equip the XUV700 facelift with a plug-in hybrid system. Mahindra XUV700 Facelift: Features Expected The recently spotted test mule gives us a hint about the updated XUV700's interior. The spy shots reveal that the SUV will be equipped with a triple-screen setup. The triple-screen setup is likely the 10.2-inch unit borrowed from the Mahindra XEV 9e. Mahindra XUV700 triple-screen setup Apart from the screen, the Mahindra XUV700 facelift is likely to get updated features. It is liley to borrow the dashboard design from the XEV 9e, front and rear ventilated seats, an updated Harman Kardon sound system, a self-park feature, a digital key, and more. Mahindra XUV700 Facelift: Exterior Expected The Mahindra XUV700 facelift's spy images suggest that it will carry the same design elements as seen on the current version on sale. However, the front fascia has a newly designed grille, featuring vertical slats, and is positioned in a slanting posture. The XUV700 facelift spied had no fog lights, and it also gets circular headlamps that resemble those seen on the Mahindra Thar. However, these elements might be replaced in the production-spec version. Suzuki Jimny 55th Anniversary Edition Unveiled; Here's What's Special
The Suzuki Jimny is slowly moving towards the end of its production in Europe. This is because of the strict emission standards, because of which the lifestyle SUV has already been discontinued in Germany and the EU in mid-2024. With this latest version, the SUV is returning for a short while, but only in France. This is in the form of a limited production unit called the Jimny 55th Anniversary. The production of this version will be limited to 55 units in France. The special edition celebrates 55 years of Jimny with aesthetic upgrades. Additionally, it gets multiple exclusive feature upgrades over the standard version. It is to be noted that the model is based on the iteration of the vehicle sold in the French market. To top it off, the consumers in France will also get 4x4 training to improve their off-road skills and fully utilise the Jimny. To signify its unique nature, the brand has added a commemorative plaque at the base of the centre console. All of the design elements are complemented by four body colours: White, Jungle Green, Bluish Black, and Medium Gray. The brand has also added a soft Rhino spare tire cover with the stylised rhinoceros associated with the SUV since the 1980s. There are also mud flaps with the Jimny logo in red behind the wheels. Other additions include rubber floor mats in the passenger compartment and trunk, a logbook with embossed leather cover, and a matching key chain. The list of special features for the 55th Anniversary edition includes air conditioning, heated seats, Bluetooth audio system, lane departure warning, lane change warning, automatic high beam control, traffic sign recognition, and more. Powering the Suzuki Jimny 55th Anniversary Edition is the sale 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 102 hp of power. It comes paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. To help its off-road capabilities, it gets AllGrip Pro all-wheel drive with a transfer case and short shift throws. With all of it, the SUV will be available at €28,955 (around Rs 28.73 lakh).

Mahindra Thar Facelift Interiors Spied- Check Similarities With Thar Roxx
The Mahindra Thar has been one of the best-selling models in the brand's arsenal, and the range started accumulating even more numbers with the launch of the Thar Roxx. However, the SUV has been around for 5 years and is now in need of an update. Taking note of the situation, the automaker has started testing the facelift version of the SUV. This iteration is expected to bring some major updates, many of which will likely be borrowed from the Thar Roxx, which is leaps and bounds ahead in terms of features. Before the launch, the Mahindra Thar facelift has been spotted testing. These pictures reveal several details about the upcoming model. Starting with the exterior, the Thar now gets the same vertical slat grille as the Thar Roxx. It will also borrow the headlight from the five-door version, carrying the same name. This unit consists of an LED projector setup with C-shaped DRLs. Additionally, the front bumper and the fog lamps, along with LED indicators, are the same as Roxx. Also Read: Similarly, on the inside, Thar facelift gets a major upgrade with a free-standing 10.2-inch infotainment screen that enables wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It replaces the older 7-inch unit. Furthermore, the steering wheel is the same as the Thar Roxx placed in front of the 10.2-inch fully digital instrument cluster. Meanwhile, it still seems to have manual IRVM, and there are no cameras, indicating that there will be no ADAS. In terms of mechanics, the Mahindra Thar facelift will likely have no changes. It is going to carry forward the same 1.5-litre diesel, 2.2-litre diesel, and 2.0-litre petrol engine. Transmission options will include a manual and automatic with RWD and 4WD configurations. Meanwhile, Mahindra & Mahindra is also working on other models like Bolero facelift, Bolero Neo facelift, and XUV 700 facelift. All of these models have been around for some time and now need an update.

Ludhiana: Youths in Thar try to run over realtor over driving advice
A shocking incident unfolded in Ludhiana's Mohar Singh Nagar on Sunday afternoon when a group of youths in a Mahindra Thar SUV allegedly attempted to run over a property dealer after he advised them to drive slowly. The incident was captured on nearby CCTV and has since gone viral on social media. According to the police, Jaswinder Singh, a resident of Urban Estate on Chandigarh Road and a real estate dealer, was standing near his under-construction building along with his son when the incident occurred. A group of youths driving recklessly in a Thar SUV were performing stunts in the area. Singh reportedly advised them to slow down, which enraged the occupants of the vehicle. He alleged that the driver of the Thar repeatedly reversed and accelerated the vehicle in his direction, allegedly trying to run him over. He narrowly escaped multiple attempts by running out of the vehicle's path. Police officials confirmed that the incident was clearly recorded in the street's CCTV footage, which shows the vehicle lunging at the victim several times. The video has sparked outrage online, with citizens demanding strict action. Based on Singh's complaint, the Division Number 3 police have registered a case against the accused identified as Manni Shiv Kapoor, Vasu Sood, Anmol Aggarwal, and their aide who is yet to be identified. ASI Paramjit Singh who is investigating the case, stated that an FIR has been lodged against the accused under sections of 109, 115(2), 281,and 3(5) of BNS has been lodged against the accused. A hunt is on for the arrest of the accused.

Mahindra Thar Facelift Seen Testing, Could Get Thar Roxx Elements
Mahindra is now gearing up to bring the facelift avatar of the Thar in India. The 3-door SUV made its debut in the national market way back in 2020, and this is the first time that the Thar is getting an update. The test mule of the Mahindra Thar has been snapped testing recently, and suggests a few of the exterior elements expected from the facelift. Mahindra Thar Facelift: Exterior Expected The Mahindra Thar facelift spied testing reveals much of the rear and side portion of the test mule, keeping the front fascia still hidden. On the rear, the Thar facelift is expected to get a newly designed bumper and a new set of LED taillights. Though the front section of the camouflage Thar facelift was not revealed, it is likely to get a new pair of headlights as seen on the Thar Roxx. Mahindra Thar Facelift: Features Expected The exact feature details of the facelifted iteration of the Thar will only be revealed as the launch gets closer. It is expected to get new features like a 10.2-inch instrument cluster, a 10.2-inch free-standing infotainment system enabled with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a panoramic sunroof, a powered driver's seat, ventilated front seats, and more. The Thar facelift is likely to borrow much of its interior elements and features from the Thar Roxx. It is also expected to get a level 2 ADAS suite that includes adaptive cruise control. The Mahindra Thar facelift is expected to get a 1.5-liter turbo diesel, a 2.0-liter turbo petrol, and a 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine as options, mated with a manual and automatic gearbox with 4x2 and 4x4 configurations (as an option).
