Vikram Solar secures 150 MW order in Maharashtra

, a solar PV module manufacturers, on Wednesday announced the receipt of an order for a renewable power project of 150 MW capacity from
Maharashtra State Power Generation Co. Ltd
(MAHAGENCO), a government of Maharashtra undertaking.

We view Maharashtra as a high-potential market with a rapidly growing appetite for renewable energy, and we remain optimistic about the region's accelerating demand trajectory,' said Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman & Managing Director, Vikram Solar.
According to the official press release, the strategic order will see Vikram Solar deliver high-efficiency
solar modules
adding to its project portfolio.
It added that the modules will be supplied in the districts of
Jalgaon
and Solapur in Maharashtra to MAHAGENCO under the
Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana
project 2.0. The commencement of the order delivery is set to be in the FY25-26.
