Brenda Song breaks silence after ex Trace Cyrus accuses her of faking cancer and pregnancies
Brenda Song shared a heartwarming Instagram tribute just days after ex-boyfriend Trace Cyrus unleashed a shocking series of accusations against her. Trace, 36—the son of Billy Ray Cyrus and older brother of pop superstar Miley Cyrus, 32— made incendiary claims about his relationship with the Suite Life of Zack & Cody actress, 37, in a string of Instagram posts last week. The musician dated Song on and off from 2010 to 2017, and didn't hold back in his allegations. Among the most serious claims: that Song had stolen from him, faked a pregnancy, and even lied about having terminal breast cancer and a brain tumor. But on Wednesday, Song appeared to sidestep the drama entirely, taking to social media to celebrate her anniversary with fiancé Macaulay Culkin. The pair got engaged in January 2022 and share two children together—Dakota, 4, and Carson, 2. '8 years and there is still no one who makes me laugh or smile like the way you do,' Song captioned a photo of the couple. 'No one who makes me feel more seen, heard or loved.' She added: 'My partner in crime, my adventure partner, my best friend, my baby daddy, my favorite everything- thank you 'To be loved by you is the greatest privilege. Happy anniversary. I love you.' Culkin, 44, didn't ignore the special day either. He posted a quirky beachside photo series of Song getting closer to the camera with each frame. 'Happy anniversary, babe. Thank you for always coming towards me. You never run away,' he wrote in the caption, a subtle nod to their rock-solid bond despite the drama swirling around them. In Trace's shocking social media rant, he claimed Song 'stole thousands of dollars for me and fake multiple pregnancies lied about being terminally ill to make my family and I think that she had breast cancer and a brain tumor.' Trace, who has more than 689,000 followers on the social media platform, continued that 'it was all a lie.' Trace said that Song 'was humiliated to ever show her face around my family again once we figured it out and my mom confronted her and called her out on all of it.' Trace said that it had been 'another scenario where '[he] was a great loving person and someone did me wrong for no reason.' He added of Song: 'Oh, she also faked an abortion with fake blood covering the bathroom floor in my mom and I register her to the OB/GYN - that's when all the lies started unraveling and we realized it was fake.' Trace previously said of the relationship in a February 2018 Instagram post: 'I'm extremely happy for her. 'She inspired me to write countless songs and was such an important part of my life. I will always cherish songs I have … to remind me of our crazy 7 years together. ' Trace later said on Instagram Stories that Song claimed she got the brain tumor removed by the 'best surgeon in Chicago.' Trace added: 'She didn't realize we were catching on to her lies. So when she showed up to my house with a bandage on her head claiming she just got out of surgery. Trace said she 'ripped it off exposing no surgery had been done.' In a later post, Trace said he wasn't going to speak to reporters about his posts about Song; and if he was asked why he was speaking out now, it was because he 'felt like it.' Trace also encouraged people to follow his Instagram account before Friday morning, as he would be taking it private at that point.

Forget ‘Home Alone' — Macaulay Culkin's best movie is streaming free on the Roku Channel
Like a lot of people, I thought I knew what kind of movie "My Girl" was. I remembered the vague outline from childhood — something about bees, first crushes and maybe a funeral. I figured it was just another sappy '90s coming-of-age story. But I rewatched it recently and was caught completely off guard by how hard it hit me. "My Girl" is gentle and nostalgic on the surface, but underneath, it's an honest portrait of grief, childhood and the ways we love each other when we're too young to know how to hold on. It's set in the summer of 1972, when everything feels suspended in time. And then, suddenly, nothing is the same. Watching it as an adult, the heartbreak feels much deeper. The moments land heavier. And the performances, especially Macaulay Culkin's, are even better than they have any business being. Some might still brush it off as a melodramatic tearjerker, but "My Girl" is so much more than that. It's also Culkin's best performance — yes, even better than "Home Alone." And you can stream it completely free right now on the Roku Channel. Vada Sultenfuss (Anna Chlumsky) is an 11-year-old girl growing up in a funeral home, surrounded by death but totally unprepared for the grief that's coming for her. Wise beyond her years but emotionally guarded, she's practically bubbling with sarcasm, anxiety, and curiosity. She finds a best friend in Thomas J. Sennett (Macaulay Culkin), her who's allergic to almost everything and devoted to her in the quietest, most genuine way. There's also Harry, her emotionally distant father (Dan Aykroyd), who runs the family funeral parlor, Shelly (Jamie Lee Curtis), the new makeup artist with a warm heart and a sharp wit, and a poetry teacher Vada becomes awkwardly infatuated with as she wrestles with all the things she doesn't understand about growing up. Everyone around her is trying to hold something together. Whether that's a business, a family, or even the idea of childhood innocence, there's always this feeling that nothing can last. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. When tragedy strikes and Vada is forced to confront the reality of death for the first time, she has to figure out a way to be okay with the fact that the world won't always protect her. And that is, unfortunately, a huge part of growing up. "My Girl" drops you right back into childhood in a way that sneaks up on you. It's all treehouses, swimming and bikes at first glance, but there's something heavier humming under every scene. It's not flashy, but it cuts deep. And in many scenes, Culkin is the reason why. As Thomas J., Culkin is soft-spoken, careful, and kind. He doesn't dominate the screen because he doesn't need to. He just is, in that rare way where you almost forget he's acting. His chemistry with Chlumsky feels totally lived-in, and when things take their turn (because they do), their performances really make it. Culkin is exactly like the heartbroken kid he's portraying. You don't have to be a sentimental movie person to feel this one. If you've ever lost someone too early or been a kid trying to make sense of emotions way too big for your age, this movie speaks your language. "My Girl" is streaming free on the Roku Channel right now, and honestly, there's no better time to watch it for the first time or rewatch it with adult eyes. Just don't treat this like background noise and give it your full attention. And you might want to grab some tissues. Watch "My Girl" free on the Roku Channel.

Indiana Jones' whip, Kane's Rosebud sled and Culkin's 'Home Alone' snow cap are going up for auction
This combination of images shows the Rosebud sled from the film 'Citizen Kane," left, a whip wielded by Harrison Ford in 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade," center, and the knit hat worn by Macaulay Culkin in the film "Home Alone." Many of movies' most sought-after props are going up for auction, including the Rosebud sled from 'Citizen Kane,' Macaulay Culkin's knit snow cap from 'Home Alone' and a whip wielded by Harrison Ford during the Holy Grail trials of 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.' The Summer Entertainment Auction being held July 15-19 by Heritage Auctions also includes sci-fi gems from the 'Star Wars' galaxy, like a filming miniature of Luke Skywalker's X-wing starfighter used in Industrial Light & Magic's effects work for 'The Empire Strikes Back,' and the lightsabers brandished by Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi and Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker in 'Revenge of the Sith.' The Rosebud sled from the title character's childhood sits at the center of Orson Welles' 1941 'Citizen Kane." It's the last word tycoon Charles Foster Kane speaks before his death at the opening of the film that is regarded by many critics groups as the greatest ever made. Long thought lost, the sled is one of three of the prop known to have survived. It's owned by 'Gremlins' director Joe Dante, who stumbled on it when he was filming on the former RKO Pictures lot in 1984. Dante wasn't a collector, but knew the value of the sled and quietly preserved it for decades, putting it as an Easter egg into four of his own films. Ford gave the Indiana Jones whip going up for auction to then-Prince Charles at the 1989 UK premiere of 'The Last Crusade.' It was given as a gift to Princess Diana, who gave it to the current owner. 'These aren't just props. They're mythic objects,' Joe Maddalena, Heritage's executive vice president, said in a statement. "They tell the story of Hollywood's greatest moments, one piece at a time.' Also going up for sale are a blue velvet suit that Mike Myers wore as Austin Powers in 'Goldmember,' and a Citroën 2CV driven by Roger Moore as James Bond in 'For Your Eyes Only,' one of the films Myers was parodying. The auction also includes essential artifacts from the collection of legendary director Cecil B. DeMille, including a promotional pair of the titular tablets from DeMille's 'The Ten Commandments,' which the director had cut from stone from Mount Sinai. © Copyright 2025 The Associated Press.
