Four held for trespassing into Secunderabad MCEME with fake ID card
HYDERABAD: Four persons were arrested on Friday for allegedly trespassing into the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) in Secunderabad by using a fake identity card to gain access to the premises on Thursday. Trimulgherry police stated that the accused were produced before a court and remanded to judicial custody on Friday. According to the police, the MCEME authorities lodged a complaint at the Trimulgherry police station on Thursday. Based on the complaint, a case was registered against Rakesh Kumar Naresh Rai, Ashish Kumar, Aaliya Abbshi and Nagma Bano Mahemood Ali under relevant Sections of the BNS including Section 61(2) (criminal conspiracy), Section 329(3) (criminal trespass), Section 319(2) (cheating by personation), Section 340(2) (dishonestly using a forged document) and Section 168 (wearing garb or carrying token used by a soldier). As per the complaint, at 1 pm, the four accused, including one person posing as an Air Force officer under the name Wing Commander Rajat Kumar Mishra, entered the MI Techno Chowk Gate of MCEME without authorisation. The group comprised four persons: the impersonator and three others — one man and two women. They allegedly produced a fake identity card to the security personnel at the gate. The four were later stopped by sentries at the Jubilee Gate when they were seen clicking photographs and recording videos of sensitive military locations, including the CSD canteen and a soldiers' monument situated along the internal road. The sentries promptly alerted the MCEME Quick Reaction Team, following which the four were detained for questioning. When confronted by military officials, the accused disclosed their identities. HYDERABAD: In what can be a serious breach of military security, the Trimulgherry police have registered a criminal case against four individuals, including two women, for unauthorised entry into the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad. One of the accused allegedly impersonated an Indian Air Force (IAF) Wing Commander to gain access to the restricted area, raising major concerns over internal security protocols. The case was registered on Thursday based on a complaint filed by an Army officer. Police identified the accused as Rakesh Kumar Naresh Rai, Ashish Kumar, Aaliya Abbashi, and Nagma Bano Mahmood Ali. They have been booked under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including section 61(2) (criminal conspiracy), section 329(3) (trespass), section 319(2) (cheating), and section 340(2) (use of forged documents). According to the FIR, the four individuals entered MCEME on Thursday through MI Techno Chowk Gate allegedly without valid authorisation. Rakesh Kumar reportedly impersonated a Wing Commander and escorted other three inside the campus. Intelligence officials from various wings of the armed forces joined the probe. Though initial fears of espionage were investigated, officials later ruled out any such links. The accused were handed over to the Trimulgherry police after Army officials informed senior Hyderabad police.

Four arrested for impersonation, unauthorised entry at Military college campus
In a significant security breach, four civilians, including one impersonating an Indian Air Force officer, gained unauthorised entry into the highly secured Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) campus in Secunderabad on June to an official complaint filed by MCEME authorities with Trimulgherry Police Station, one of the suspects, Rajat Kumar Mishra, falsely claimed to be a Wing Commander of the Indian Air Force. He used a forged identity card to enter the premises through the MI Techno Chowk Gate at around 1:00 PM. He was accompanied by three others—one man and two group's movement raised suspicion when they reached the Jubilee Gate of the military facility and started taking photographs and recording videos. Acting promptly, the guards alerted the Provost Unit TASA and officials from the Southern Command Intelligence. The Quick Reaction Team (QRT) of MCEME swiftly apprehended all four individuals and handed them over to authorities for a joint investigation. The four individuals have been identified as Rakesh Kumar, Ashish Kumar, Aaliya Abbshi and Nagma Bano. The nature and intent behind their unauthorised entry, as well as the impersonation, are currently under investigation. Authorities have requested a First Information Report (FIR) be filed to initiate a full enquiry into the incident. The police have registered a case under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code, including Section 419 (cheating by impersonation), Section 420 (Cheating), Section 468 (Forgery for the purpose of cheating) and Section 471 – using forged documents as genuine. MCEME Secunderabad confers B.Tech degrees on 20 officers
The Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad, held its 107th convocation ceremony on Thursday, conferring Bachelor of Technology degrees on 20 officers of the Technical Entry Scheme Course - 43. The event was held at the MCEME Auditorium in Trimulgherry. Himanshu Rai, Director of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore, was the chief guest.
