Love Island UK's Shocking Twist Has Viewers Stunned
Somehow, Love Island UK is getting messier this summer. The creators of the show have changed the rules for the Hideaway, a room intended to give coupled islanders a private space to enjoy each other's company. The Hideaway can be used as a space to chat or sleep in the same bed together, among other things. Previously, the show only allowed couples to enter the Hideaway if they received an invitation. Now, in a shocking twist, the Hideaway is open to any two islanders, just as long as they're not in an official couple. "The Hideaway is open for business for 24 hours all the time, as long as they don't come with their partner," said Mike Spencer, Love Island's Creative Director. Spencer said the change in rules comes as an effort to keep the show exciting. "We told the islanders last year they could, but they kept forgetting they could come in here," he explained. "We've seen the same things time and time again how and it's felt static, and the show needs to feel fresh." I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the Hideaway has in store for this season. What do you think? Let me know in the comments!

Love Island fans react to 'brutal' new quotes challenge, as Harry and Yasmin's secret kiss is revealed
Tonight's episode of Love Island was giving us all the OG Love Island vibes. The Islanders took part in a new challenge which saw them read out quotes said by their fellow Islanders at various stages during their time in the Villa, and it's safe to say fans were loving the drama the new twist brought. Introduced towards the end of the episode, after an already tense day in which Harry and Yasmin had a secret kiss in the Hideaway, the new challenge saw the Islanders gather around the firepit, drink in hand and take it in turns to read a quote off a card before all having to guess who said which quote. The game meant that Shakira's earlier conversation with Toni about her lack of interest in Ben was revealed to the group, as was Dejon's comments about missing bombshell Malisha after she was dumped from the Island, and Toni's thoughts on Dejon being a different person when Meg isn't around. But perhaps the biggest revelation shared around the fire pit was Harry's confession that he and Yasmin did in fact kiss in the Hideaway (well actually three times as Yasmin pointed out). All day the pair had denied they had kissed, despite many of the group theorising they had, however, towards the end of the game when Harry's quote from the previous day was revealed about wanting to kiss Yasmin, he then did confess to kissing Yasmin in the Hideaway. While of course it wasn't nice to see any of the Islanders upset over the revelations, many fans were loving the new game, praising the producers for the creation of it over on X. One person said: "Whoever came up with this game from the production team needs a big fat kiss and a cheque." Meanwhile another said: "this challenge is brutal, loving every moment of it #LoveIsland #loveislanduk." And another said: "THE PRODUCERS ATE WITH THIS GAME HAHAHAHA #LoveIslandUK #LoveIsland." While another posted: "Love Island UK is so back PURE CINEMA #loveisland #LoveIslandUK." The new game is just the latest in a number of new additions and twists to the series as it celebrates its 10th anniversary. Already this season we've seen Shakira have to fight to stay in the Villa and flirt with all the boys in order to try and secure a place, which she did but ended up with the dumping of Sophie in her place. Then we saw the boys sent on a lads' night out where they met three bombshells, only for it to be live-streamed to the girls back in the Villa. And now with the new challenge, it definitely feels like we're back in old school Love Island territory. Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX

Jessie Wynter appeared in season nine of the hit ITV reality dating show in 2023, having first appeared in the Aussie edition of Love Island in 2019. She went on to just miss out on the final with partner Will Young, affectionate known as Farmer Will, who she is still together with. The influencer and podcast host has been tuning in with the millions of Love Island fans to catch the latest shenanigans in the famous villa. In a chat with NationalWorld on behalf of Top Offshore Sportsbooks , Jessie revealed her thoughts about the 10th anniversary series so far and which couple she thinks could go all the way to the final. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad She said: 'I think it's going to be a good season, so far it has been quite juicy!' Former Love Island contestant Jessie Wynter has branded this season of the reality show "juicy" as she revealed her hope for even more twists. | Getty Images Love Island promised loads of twists and turns ahead of the series premiere on Monday, June 9, and the show has already offered some shocking moments including Sophie's early exit and the girls being able to spy on boys' night as they met bombshells Emily, Malisha and Yasmin. Jessie praised this moment, saying: 'I absolutely love that the girls got to see what happened on the bombshell date and I thought it was really funny seeing the boys backtracking and scrambling. They did have a lot of opportunity to take accountability there, which did not happen. When you see those kinds of red flags early on, it makes me hope that the girls get some guys in there that aren't like that.' She added that she believes more shocking moments could be on their way: 'I think the pressure is on for Love Island UK at the moment - we've seen so many seasons of it that we actually need these twists. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Jessie Wynter featured in season nine of Love Island (Photo: ITV) | ITV 'I think they are definitely going to bring in strong bombshells. One of the things about Love Island is that I think people are sick of seeing people couple up on Day 1 and stay together the whole way through. I think they want to see people changing couples. So I hope they're going to bring in some really strong bombshells! 'I also have a feeling there's going to be something different about Casa Amor. Sometimes it's a great concept but no one really wants to form connections in Casa Amor, so I do think this year they are going to shake it up. 'With characters like Harry, bringing him into the villa, he's not afraid to mess around in the villa and be a little bit cheeky. With those types of guys in there, I do think that there will be twists and turns and the producers will make their true colours show.' But while most of the villa grapples with outrageous twists and turns, there is one couple that Jessie believes could go all the way. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad 'I really like Megan and Tommy. I think they're really sweet. I think they are definitely going to the final. They would have to be my favourite couple at the moment!' Jessie and Will met on season nine of Love Island in 2023 and have been together ever since. | Getty Images Jessie has the experience of making her relationship last outside villa, with her and Will still going strong two-and-a-half years after they met on the show. She shared her advice for making a go of the new relationship after leaving Love Island. She said: 'Remind yourself of the sole reason you like this person. You come out of the villa, let's be honest, everyone is in your DMs. Those boys are going to have tons of girls in their DMs, same with the girls having loads of boys. 'It's really important to ground yourself and remind yourself that yeah, you could probably have any person that's in your DMs at that point in time but that's not what life is about, that's what relationships aren't about. Love Island fans fuming as show 'scraps' iconic segment after huge cliffhanger
Love Island fans were left on a huge cliff hanger following new bombshell Harrison's arrival during tonight's show - but left fuming after a key segment was 'missing' from the show After an eventful night in the Love Island villa following a tense recoupling, the Islanders were left in even more shock with the arrival of new bombshell Harrison Solomon. He had a dramatic entrance to the show, as he was told he had the power to dump one of the single girls. Harrison's arrival came after a shock recoupling, in which the power was in the boys hands. Following the eventful night, both Malisha and Toni were left single - and they were both sent on dates with the bombshell. However, they were told Harrison would decide who to bring back after the date - with the other dumped. As always, fans were left on a dramatic cliff hanger, as it's not clear whether Malisha or Toni will be sent home. Fans will have to tune in tomorrow to see their fate - but they were left fuming that they weren't even graced with a teaser for "tomorrow night" at the end of the show. Love Island fans are regularly treated to a dramatic teaser of what's to come the following night at the end of the show, with voiceover Ian Sterling exclaiming: "Tomorrow Night!" However, fans can't help but notice the lack of snippets they've been given this series, and they're less than impressed. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: "The lack of Tomorrow night promo is pmo, I need to know what's going to happen so I can mentally prepare myself #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK," as another said: "where did the tomorrow night promos go? #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK" A third enraged fan penned: "7 days and no tomorrow night? Is the editor not getting paid enough? #Loveisland," while a fourth joked: "Why are they suddenly allergic to the 'Tomorrow Night' promos?! #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK." Due to the lack of promo, fans have had to predict their own outcome of the show - as they predict Harrison will bring back Toni due to them both residing in the US. Toni currently lives in Vegas, whereas Harrison is living in Miami, despite being from Derby. Prior to his entrance into the villa, the US college soccer player and student made it very clear he wasn't afraid to step on toes. When asked about how he felt about splitting up a couple, Harrison said: "That's what I have to do. I'm not here to make friends. If the girl is for me, I'm going to grab that. "That's no issue. I'm in there for myself at the end of the day." He's clear on what he's here for too, explaining that his type is " someone who is fiery and got a bit of an attitude." "I don't want someone boring in the corner. I want someone who has got a bit of substance and voices their opinion. Confidence, being family oriented is a big one for me and someone who is ambitious, too," he revealed. Like Toni, Harrison is currently residing in the US, but he's ready to make long distance work. "I've done long distance before so it's not really an issue for me. I don't know if or when I'm going back to America. But that's not an issue. If you like a person you'll make it work," he said. How will Harrison's arrival change the dynamics of the villa?

Love Island fans 'work out' who will be dumped from the villa after huge clue
Love Island fans were treated to even more drama tonight, as it was announced the villa would be holding a shock recoupling - with the power in the boys hands The Love Island villa was thrown into chaos once again tonight, when the Islanders learnt there would be a shock recoupling. After a dramatic week, the power was in the boys hands - and Toni and Malisha's fate was left in new bombshell Harrison's hands. Bombshells Malisha and Toni were left single after Dejon, who had been getting to know Malisha chose to couple up with original partner Meg. Toni's partner Conor chose to couple up with bombshell Emily. When it came to Dejon's turn, he chose to couple up with "my Meg," leaving Malisha standing single alongside Toni and Yasmin - who was later picked by Shea. The Islanders were left wondering whether Toni or Malisha would be dumped from the Island - but they were left in shock when they were told they were both vulnerable through a text. They were then told that their fate would lie in new bombshell Harrison's hands, as both would date the 22-year-old. Only one would return to the villa, and that choice would be Harrison's. The 22-year-old footballer from Derby, but resides in Miami, was left waiting for both just outside the villa - and their fate was in his hands. As both went on a date with Harrison, it was down to him to decide who he'd be taking back to the villa, and who would be sent packing. Both had a good date, but fans have already worked out who he'd be taking home after spotting a huge clue. Fans believe he'll pick Toni, as the pair share a connection residing in the US. "Miami…..yh he's off with Toni #LoveIslandUK #LoveIsland," said one, as another penned: "They set up Malisha omg sending in a guy who lives in America and likes American girls wtf #LoveIsland." "Lives in Miami? This is our guy for Toni #LoveIsland," said a third - as the pair found out they attended the same college. Should Harrison picks Toni, it means Malisha will be dumped from the villa. "OH ITS GOING TO BE MALISHA F**K NO," exclaimed one upset fan, while another said: "So Malisha is donezo, so sad. Feel like Harrison had a better date with her than toni but he'll pick toni." However, before his arrival in the villa, Harrison revealed he doesn't have a problem with a long distance relationship. "I've done long distance before so it's not really an issue for me. I don't know if or when I'm going back to America. But that's not an issue. If you like a person you'll make it work." However, he did admit he likes American girls. "I do really like American girls. Their personality is slightly different, in general they're more confident and go for what they want. But I like a challenge, I like a bit of the chase," he said. It was an intense night for Dejon prior to the recoupling as a third girl threw a spanner in the works as Yasmin had a flirty proposition for him after he'd complimented both her and Toni's outfits. Yasmin then asked: 'Would you ever have a threesome with me and Toni?' leaving a stunned Dejon almost choking on his drink. Yasmin laughed the comment off as 'intrusive thoughts," and luckily (or unluckily) he was pulled away by Meg and Malisha for a chat. How will things unfold in the villa going forward?
