Steeped in tradition and elegance, the dress code at the prestigious horse-racing event reflects its rich heritage, demanding attire that exudes sophistication and refinement. It varies across different enclosures, with the Royal Enclosure setting the highest standards for attire with strictly top hat and tails only. The Queen Anne Enclosure offers a more relaxed dress code, while the Windsor Enclosure is the most relaxed, with no formal dress code but smart attire is encouraged. Meanwhile, other racegoers pushed the boat out with some seriously bold looks. One fashionista showed off her patriotic union jack dress, which she paired with a matching red hat and clutch. And butterflies had their moment as several racegoers decided to style their look with butterfly accessories, patterns, and even add them onto their hats. Outfits NEVER to wear to the races, according to a fashion pro Fabulous' Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend has revealed what you should never wear to the races It should go without saying that dresses must cover your bum — ideally knee-length or longer. Coats should be tailored as a nod to the grandeur and smartness of the day. And footwear should remain on your feet. All day. So make sure it's comfortable. Another rule of thumb is never wear white. Remember, you'll be penned in with hundreds of people, and will need to eat and drink — that means ample opportunity for spillage. I'll never forget the images of a punter in 2019 who spilled red wine down her white jumpsuit. Her pals got creative and decided to drench the entire PrettyLittleThing outfit with the bottle's remains to create a tie-dye look. Instead, just remember your coat — not only because of the unpredictable weather, but should you slop ketchup from a hamburger down your front you can cover yourself up, too. When it comes to shoes, heeled sandals are a big no-no. They are great for giddy-up glamour but not suited to being outdoors all day. Try a wedged heel or closed-foot court shoe with a small, chunky heel for extra support and comfort under the balls of your feet. Zara Tindall always gets it right, for example with pair of black courts and slim-fit trousers. Also, don't be one of those country bumpkin try-hards. A nod to equestrian style is fine, but you often see people dressing head to toe in tweed or wearing Peaky Blinders-style flat caps. Lastly, the best-dressed at Ascot are always mindful of their boobs. Listen, I get it. If you've got 'em, flaunt 'em. But just not too much. Tastefully show the crease of a cleavage and leave everything else to the imagination. Showing off your entire bust is something that should be reserved for the comfort of your home or a night out on the pull. 9 Charlotte Hawkins stunned in a pink number complete with matching hat Credit: Getty 9 Feathers were all the rage as fashion fans attended the first day of Royal Ascot Credit: Getty 9 One fashion fan opted for a purple gown complete with fringe sleeves Credit: Getty 9 Colourful hats and fascinators were everywhere Credit: PA 9 It was all about the colour for some fashionistas Credit: Alamy

Lottie Moss used Ozempic due to ‘pressure' to look like sister Kate
Lottie Moss, 27, revealed she felt pressured to emulate her sister, Kate Moss, leading to body image struggles and a dangerous attempt to lose weight using Ozempic. Lottie was hospitalised after taking a high dosage of Ozempic which she obtained 'illegally' without proper medical assessment, causing severe illness and dehydration. Growing up, Lottie felt constant comparison to Kate's 'heroin chic' look, popularised in the 90s, and admitted to dabbling in a 'wild party lifestyle' to stay skinny. Lottie experienced dramatic weight loss but suffered severe side effects, including a seizure, leading her to question her decision, though she admits to still considering using Ozempic again.

Lottie Moss goes braless in a semi-sheer black dress as she enjoys a girls' night out at Sheesh in London
Braless Lottie Moss put on a very racy display in a semi-sheer black dress as she enjoyed a girls' night out at Sheesh restaurant in London on Thursday night. The younger sister of supermodel Kate Moss, 27, looked incredible in the plunging ensemble. The model let her hair down as she celebrated her pal Jessica Horwells' birthday at the celebrity hotspot. Her outing comes after Lottie revealed she always felt 'compared' to her older sister Kate as she admitted she would try weight loss jabs again after suffering a seizure. Lottie was rushed to hospital last year after suffering the seizure as a result of taking Ozempic, which she admitted she obtained 'illegally' from a doctor. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Following the ordeal, Lottie has now opened up about her struggles with her weight and how she has been compared to her sister Kate, 51, and other supermodels. Speaking to Olivia Attwood on her ITV series The Price Of Perfection, she said: 'I think I've always really struggled with my weight since I was younger and I think modelling didn't help, and always being around these gorgeous, tall models. 'You know I'm small as well, so I was like "I've got to be at least skinny".' Talking about her sister, Lottie went on: 'I think I always felt compared to her at the beginning of my career, and I think people expected me to be kind of like a carbon copy of her as well. 'You know, cos she was getting a little bit older, she wasn't doing so much so they thought "oh perfect, now we can have a whole new Kate Moss". 'Like I felt a lot of pressure to be like her and look like her and you know, I dabbled in that party lifestyle. 'That was essentially how they stayed skinny back in the day cos they had this wild party lifestyle.' Lottie said the party lifestyle wasn't for her, so she turned her attention to weight loss jabs, which have grown in popularity. Ozempic is a diabetes medication but it is also being sold privately for weight loss, and celebrities including Sharon Osbourne, Amy Schumer, Boy George and Heather Gay have admitted to using the drug. Lottie, who obtained the jabs 'illegally', explained: 'For me, I needed to keep the weight off and I needed a quick fix and I heard about Ozempic and I thought "I might as well just give it a go". 'The way I went around it was really bad, and I shouldn't have, because it was kind of... I kinda got it in an illegal way. 'I got it from a doctor who was giving it out under a table. 'And to give it to someone without doing any tests or anything, or asking them any questions about their health is so, you know, crazy to me.' Lottie revealed she had lost between six to seven kilos after just two weeks on the drug, which she described as 'dramatic', before having a seizure. She said she didn't notice the huge drop in her weight at the time 'because you're so sick and tired all the time'. 'I felt something really weird happen as soon as I got on the bed, I had the seizure and they were holding me down,' she recalled. 'I was terrified. I honestly felt like I was dying, and it sounds really dramatic, but I've never had a seizure before.' Lottie said it 'wasn't worth it' and asked herself: 'Why did I do this to my body?' She added: 'I remember, just after I came out of the hospital, I felt good because I was so slim and I get how that feeling can be so addictive now.' Despite the impact the drug had on her health, Lottie admitted she has thought about taking it again. She told Olivia: 'I've thought about it a couple of times, I won't lie. 'I wish I could sit her and say no, honestly. I've definitely thought about it since.' Lottie recently revealed she's going back to her natural look and had her jaw and lip filler dissolved, as well as a tattoo removed just under her eye. The star revealed she finally 'feels like herself again' after enlisting Dr Rosh (also known as Dr Roshan Ravindran) to reverse her filler, thanking him for 'fixing' her.
