DOLLA's catchy hit comeback single 'MWA!' has been making waves in the music scene, with international idols such as Lego (เลโก้) and local artist Mimifly participating in the dance challenge and going viral. We think it's fitting if we see a contribution from the first Malaysian female idol, right? Yesterday (11th June 2025), KIIRAS (키라스) members Ling Ling (링링), Kylie (카일리), and Roah (로아) uploaded a video of them participating in the 'MWA!' dance challenge. The video has since gone viral, garnering 54.3k views overnight, and in true Malaysian spirit, DOLLA members have shown their love and support for the video. The 3 KIIRAS members showcased their skills with DOLLA's 'MWA!' challenge, shying away from their usual cute concept to a more bold look for the challenge. DOLLA members Angel and Tabby have reacted to the cover with both members reposting the video on their Twitter page with Angel's caption, 'LOVEEE! Support Ling Ling'. Netizens were clearly excited by this interaction, with some noting Ling Ling's and DOLLA's Malaysian background. Twitter user @/babybread_innie and @/gbueno_____ comment, 'KIIRAS MENDONIAAAA' and 'MENYALAHHH ORANG KLANGGG'. Throughout the week, Lean Branding's much-anticipated girl group, KIIRAS (키라스), debut has hijacked social media platforms with fans showing love and support for their first single drop. Their teaser video has amassed up to 1.3 million views in just 8 days, and now fans finally have a full music video out, marking their official debut! Yesterday (29th May 2025), KIIRAS dropped the music video to their first single, 'KILL MA BO$$', featuring a western, hip-hop and pop genre in the most catchy blend for their debut. The music video showcased each member's charm, highlighting vocals and short raps, and a refreshing choreography perfect for the summer season. Malaysian idol Ling Ling (링링) opens the video by exploring a cowboy hat with the KIIRAS logo embossed, which turns into a fierce opening with an overdriven banjo playing in the background. Behind the backdrop of a colourful western pop-style, KIIRAS delivered a powerful debut with its fresh Americana Country and Hip Hop concept, hopping on the reemerging cowboy trend. The music video highlighted each member's visual and skills in the music video, offering a refreshing twist of their youthful charm blending into the song's rebellious nature. Visually, the MV offered whimsical scenes straight out of a fever dream, including rapper Kylie (카일리) on a giant KIIRAS logo, as well as the members riding horses in the open fields. In the light of their upcoming debut, KIIRAS (키라스) has officially made a name for themselves as they headline their much-anticipated debut! The announcement of their official member lineup has generated buzz on the first Malaysian female idol, Ling Ling (링링), and now KIIRAS fans have more to look forward to in the upcoming weeks. KIIRAS posted their first teaser drop yesterday (21st May 2025) for their upcoming debut single, 'Kill Ma Bo$$', along with the group's concept photos. The 29-second teaser shows the members decked in cowboy hats, boots and horses promoting a fun western style concept. The teaser dropped significant hints for fans to catch on to, such as their debut genre, promoting an American Country and hip-hop fusion on the backdrops of a western cowgirl and pop style aesthetics. In contrast to the usual monotonous look, KIIRAS adopt a multicoloured wardrobe which could look like the next hit song of the summer, reminiscent of summer girl groups such as SISTAR. Fans are notably excited as they flood the comments section with supportive messages and excitement on their debut in just a week away (29th May 2025).
