Kristin Cavallari spills behind-the-scenes moments of Laguna Beach Reunion
Kristin Cavallari revealed details about her reunion with her Laguna Beach co-stars on the June 17 episode of her Let's Be Honest podcast. She reunited with them in Chicago as part of her live podcast tour and captured it on camera for her E! docuseries, Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour. During the tour, Cavallari received several graduates from the popular MTV show, such as Lala Olsen, Jason Wahler, Alex Murrel, Talan Torriero, and Jess Revans. As reported by Cavallari, the reunion on stage was not so smooth. "Being onstage with Laguna, it did feel crazy," she said. "This is my first live podcast tour. I've never done this before, so I'm very tough on myself. Anyway, I thought I was like really more sensitive than I realized." During the event, Cavallari exchanged light-hearted remarks with Torriero, whom she previously dated. She commented on his longer hairstyle, joking that it made him look like 'a bad boy.' In response, Torriero said, 'I'm slowly turning into a Montana boy,' referencing Cavallari's ex, Montana Boyz TikTok member Mark Estes. He added, 'By the way, I'm out of beer.' The moment, which was recorded on Honestly Cavallari, was when Cavallari responded to the comment. In an interview about it on her podcast, she mentioned that her reactions looked more intense on the show than they actually were. "So, absolutely, that is my real reaction after getting off stage," she said. "My reactions to Talon while on stage were definitely hyped. I mean, you'll hear it on the podcast episode. You know, him going off about the Montana boys — I wasn't like, 'Oh my god.' Like, I think I might've actually laughed."

NEW YORK – Kristin Cavallari describes her life as "peaceful," something she's "worked really hard for." But maintaining that peace is the main reason why she has no interest in returning to reality television on a full-time basis. "A reality show does not offer any peace whatsoever," Cavallari tells USA TODAY while promoting… well, a reality show. The podcaster and business owner, 38, says her life isn't the right "recipe right now for a good reality show." "Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour" (Wednesdays, 10 p.m. ET/9 CT, on E! and streaming on Peacock) gives her fans a behind-the-scenes look at the star's first ever live podcast tour. "I don't think my life is actually that interesting," she says. "My day-to-day is pretty normal, pretty boring. (My) podcast tour was great; lent itself to great storyline. But I don't have that in my day-to-day life." Despite the recent news, the former "Laguna Beach" star says some of these "new" stories actually date back to over two decades ago. "Some of the things that have popped up are so old, but I'm having to live them as though they just happened," she says. "Headlines have been a part of my life since I was 17 and I wish I had a better way of handling it. They still stress me out. They still give me anxiety." Cavallari's coping mechanism is detachment, she says, and she does her best not to read headlines or comments on social media. "What people are saying about me actually has nothing to do with me," she says. "I think when you can finally get that place and understand that, it's a really freeing thing. And I think that comes with maturity and age." Cavallari has been dealing with headlines and pubic interest in personal life since she rose to fame in 2004 as a cast member of MTV's hit reality show "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County," followed by its spinoff "The Hills." "My dating life has been the one thing that people have always really latched onto," Cavallari says, referencing "Laguna Beach" and her ex-boyfriend, Stephen Colletti. "I'm sure that's because I came into the world on reality TV with my boyfriend at the time, so people have felt like they're entitled to know what's going on in my dating life. Cavallari says that when she separated from her ex-husband, former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, it was initially hard to wrap her head around the idea that people were once again interested in her dating life. Public debut for private Kristin Cavallari's kids The series marks the on-camera debut for Cavallari's children: Camden, 12, Jaxon, 10, and Saylor, 9. She shares all three with Cutler. "I want to keep my kids, kids," she continues. "Me putting them in a couple of scenes (of the show) does not change that." This topic is off-limits for Kristin Cavallari The podcast host says she's also keeping her life peaceful by focusing on what matters the most to her: family and friends. And the one topic she's done talking about is her ex-husband. "I'm not going to talk about the legal stuff with their dad," Cavallari responds when asked about any conversations she had with Cutler regarding their kids' onscreen debut. The two married in 2013; Cavallari announced her split from Cutler on Instagram in April 2020. "I would prefer not to talk about my ex, you know what I mean?" she continues. "It's been over five years. I kind of wish that everyone would just move on." As for Cavallari's current dating life, that's not off-limits, although the Uncommon James founder doesn't have much to report on that front. "I haven't dated at all this year," she reveals. "I did that intentionally leading up to the podcast tour. I didn't want any distractions. (Dating is) not on my priority list right now. Between work and my kids, I'm kind of maxed out."

That show — Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour on E! — marks Cavallari's return to reality TV for the first time in five years. Those five years have been busy. Cavallari, 38, got divorced from football star Jay Cutler, 42. in 2022 after announcing their separation in 2020. She's parented the three children — Camden, Jaxon and Saylor — they share. She also launched her podcast, Let's Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari, which has continually rocketed to the top of the podcast charts. Earlier this spring, Cavallari embarked on a four-city podcast tour and invited TV cameras along for the ride. Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour is the result. Listening to Let's Be Honest, it seems like nothing is off-limits for Cavallari, who first rose to fame appearing on the MTV reality shows Laguna Beach and The Hills. There is one topic she shies away from, however. 'The only thing that I've really set a boundary around is my ex-husband,' she says of Cutler. 'That's the only thing. I feel like everything else, I've been an open book — probably too much of one.' Speaking of boundaries, the mom of three used to have a strict one around her kids. Until recently, she never showed their faces on social media and they weren't featured on her previous reality show, Very Cavallari. But that's all changed. Now her kids grace her Instagram posts, have joined her podcast and even appear in Honestly Cavallari. Why the change? 'The whole [point] was to let them make that decision when they were old enough," she explains. "And so they are that age.' (Camden is 12; Jaxon is 11; daughter Saylor is 9.) 'It's been nice for me to be able to share that part of my life with people just because my kids are the biggest part of my life,' she adds. Her kids have been asking her to post them 'for years," Cavallari says; her eldest son even asks her to tag him in content. 'I'm like, I'm not tagging you,' she laughs. 'But they love it.' Though her sons have social media accounts, she says she keeps an eye on who they're following and what they're doing online. Cavallari is no stranger to being headline news, but if it were up to her, those headlines would have less to do with the men she's supposedly dating. 'I can't control what the media writes,' she says. 'But I'm talking about a lot of stuff other than men [on my podcast] and that seems to be the only area that they want to focus on.' Though her relationships have been tabloid fodder for over 20 years, she still gets frustrated by it. 'It does piss me off,' she says. 'I have a lot more going on in my life.' In fact, Cavallari tells me she hasn't even gone on one date this year (though in the first episode of Honestly Cavallari, she and her best friend laugh about her night out with actor Glen Powell). And her most recent relationship, with 25-year-old Mark Estes, generated lots of interest. 'I got a lot of hate and I got a lot of praise,' she says of the age-gap relationship. 'Guys do it all the time. But when I do it, everyone's like, Oh my god. Mark was really sweet and we had a very sweet, innocent relationship, and it honestly just worked really well for me at the time. I don't regret that at all.' Dating just isn't a priority right now; between work and mom life, Cavallari doesn't have the bandwidth. "I'm just maxed out in every capacity,' she says. But she does mention that her kids are with her ex-husband every other weekend. How does she use that time? 'Just being at my house without a to-do list really excites me," she says. "I might take my dogs for a walk. I'll probably go to the grocery store.' She looks at her life as being organized in buckets. 'There's my family bucket and my work bucket and a tiny social bucket." She's got a "great work-life balance right now," she adds. "Uncommon James [her jewelry and beauty brand] and the podcast fit very well into my life while they're at school. I hope to just maintain that. I just want to keep things as they are.' But when she does get back into the dating world, she knows what her main ick is. 'When someone has zero accountability,' she says. 'I'm like, I can't go down this road with you.' In the first episode of Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, the cameras follow the star as she takes care of her kids, makes them dinner and gets ready for her podcast tour. Of her divorce, she tells the cameras, 'I think deep down I knew' that it was coming. But she's staying positive. 'Divorce can be a really good thing,' she continues, and as a single mom, motherhood is her priority. 'I never really felt like I was No. 1 with my parents, so that was always a big deal for me — to make sure my kids know they're a priority.' People would be surprised to see just how ordinary her everyday life is, she tells me. 'I am very normal. I'm at all of the basketball games. I'm on the field trips,' she says. 'I'm basically an Uber driver for my kids.' Her identity as a mom leans more toward the fun side. 'Maybe I could have a few more rules,' she laughs. 'I mean, there are rules, there are boundaries. But for me, it's like, if you're a good person and you're not hurting anyone and you're treating people kindly, I think that's more important than 'you have to go to bed at 9 p.m. every night.'' Of her three kids, she says, Jaxon, is the one who keeps her 'on her toes.' Cavallari has never been shy about ... well, most things, including talking about how her previous stints on reality TV have been less than authentic. "This was the only show I've done where they didn't jump in every five minutes to tell me what to say," she says of Honestly Cavallari: 'So it was a really enjoyable experience. And I'm happy I did it because I can finally say this show is 100% real.' Though it's the headline tour, she wants to take fans beyond the headlines — the ones about her love life, her sassy teen queen image, etc. If that was all you saw of her, she would understand if you didn't like her. 'I would hate me too, I think,' she says.

Kristin Cavallari thinks Harry Jowsey is "the sweetest". The 38-year-old beauty has confessed to having a special connection with the Too Hot to Handle star, and Kristin feels he's actually been "kind of misrepresented". Speaking during the Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, she shared: "Harry Jowsey, I see a little bit of me in him. "He's kind of misrepresented too because he has this reputation of being this sort of playboy, not the best rep. But, when you get to know him, he's the sweetest." Kristin - who is currently single - also revealed that she enjoys flirting with Harry. The Very Cavallari star said: "Listen, I'm always open to flirting, let's put it that way." Asked during her tour if there was any "underlying sexual tension with Harry", Kristin replied: "How do I want to answer this? Um ..." Kristin recently revealed that she's returned to dating apps and is now open to finding love once again. The reality TV star has been single since splitting from Mark Estes in 2024 - but Kristin is now hopeful of finding love through a dating app. Speaking on the Let's Be Honest podcast, she explained: "Nashville is awful for dating. That's why I have to be on a dating app." Kristin has actually been invited on dates by a couple of well-known men in recent times. But the reality star wanted to focus on her podcast tour before turning her focus towards her love life. Kristin - who was married to former NFL star Jay Cutler between 2013 and 2022 - said: "I was supposed to go on two dates, and I was like, 'You have to wait until after my podcast tour.'" Kristin is actually making a concerted effort to "stay out of headlines" for the moment. Asked if she's been pursued by any "known people", the blonde beauty replied: "These ones are. But, I mean, I'm trying to stay out of headlines while I'm on the podcast. Then after I'm going quiet."
