Nozuko Ntshangase makes small screen comeback on 'Generations — The Legacy'
The Generations — The Legacy family has welcomed four new actors to introduce new storylines as season 34 continues. Tinah Mnumzana joins the soapie as Ausi Nokwazi Lukhozi, an impulsive and spontaneous character. 'It feels so good and beautiful at the same time to be part of the biggest production. The crew and cast are amazing and have welcomed me so warmly. Working with the likes of Manaka Ranaka (Lucy Diale) is amazing,' Tinah Mnumzama said on Thursday. Nozuko Ntshangase will be joining the show, playing the role of Vuyelwa Nxumalo, a smart, pushy character and a straight talker. 'I am so excited to join the mother of all soapies. Breathing life to the character of Vuyelwa is amazing, and I can't wait for the people to witness the magic,' Nozuko Ntshangase said. Sannah Mchunu and Philip 'Tipo' Tindisa will also be joining the show.

Opal Lee, "Grandmother of Juneteenth" will not lead Walk of Freedom this year
Opal Lee, the "Grandmother of Juneteenth," will not lead this year's Walk for Freedom in Fort Worth, her granddaughter said Tuesday night. Lee fought to get Juneteenth recognized as an official holiday. This is the first time she will not lead the walk. She was hospitalized in May for unknown reasons. Dione Sims, Lee's granddaughter, said she will carry on her grandmother's legacy this year. "I will lead the way, carrying on her legacy," Sims said in a statement to CBS News Texas. Lee's annual 2.5-mile walk acknowledges the two and a half years it took for news of freedom to reach those enslaved in Galveston, Texas, on June 19, 1865. Over the decades, the celebrations that followed became known as Juneteenth. The annual walk stepped off for the first time in Dallas last year to big crowds and a festive atmosphere. This year's Walk for Freedom starts at 9 a.m. Thursday at Fort Worth's Farrington Field.

Ron Killings AKA R-Truth attacked him during the opening segment, which included LA Knight and the former Legacy mates Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. Later in the night, the 53-year-old veteran put him in the STF and sent a message to him. Ron Killings/R-Truth, CM Punk haunt John Cena John Cena came out to the ring during the last stretch of SmackDown and called out Ron Killings for assaulting him earlier in the night. However, in a surprising development, CM Punk showed up and verbally berated the Undisputed champion ahead of their clash at Night of Champions 2025 later this month. CM Punk wants John Cena to give the fans a happy ending.#SmackDown 'The Second City Saint' spoke about their classic rivalry from over a decade ago and emphasised that the roles are reversed this time around. Back then, Punk was a heel trying to leave the company with the title while Cena was the good guy. However, the situation is the exact opposite now. Punk also used a Star Wars reference to hint at Cena possibly still being a good guy at heart. Punk eventually exited the ring, which gave Ron 'R-Truth' Killings an opportunity to attack Cena and apply the STF, a submission hold to him. Will R-Truth beat sense into John Cena on SmackDown? R-Truth is set to take on Cena on SmackDown next week. The two previously locked horns at Saturday Night's Main Event where The Marine star beat his 'fan' using underhanded tactics. Truth later interfered in Cena and Logan Paul's match with Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes. It remains to be seen if this feud is resolved on the blue brand next week.
