‘Already Scared Of Flights, Now More So': Bharti Singh Reacts To Air India Crash
Last Updated: Described as one of the worst aviation disasters in Indian history, the Air India Boeing 787-8 aircraft crash has till now claimed the lives of over 265 people. The ever-entertaining Bharti Singh was recently spotted outside the sets of the culinary-comedy show Laughter Chefs: Unlimited Entertainment. However, the usually cheerful star appeared visibly upset. She refrained from posing for the paparazzi stationed outside, citing the emotional grief over the tragic Air India crash that occurred in Ahmedabad on June 12. A video of the same has now surfaced on social media that shows Bharti telling the paparazzi, 'Mood hi nahi hai aaj, sach mai mood hi nahi hai. Yaar, kal Air India crash hua hai. Very bad, yaar, very bad. Mai pehle se hi itna darne lagi thi flight se, ab aur sunkar mai aur dar gayi hu. (I am not in the mood today, honestly, I am not in the mood. Air India crashed yesterday. Very bad, it's very bad. I was already so scared of the flight, now after hearing it, I am even more scared)." She further mentioned how the tragedy had deeply affected her mindset, saying she was unable to focus on her work. 'Kal bhi podcast mein man hi nahi laga, aur aaj shoot hai, man hi nahi lag raha, seriously. Sorry, guys. (Yesterday also I was not willing to do the podcast, and today there is the Laughter Chefs shooting, I am not at all in the mood to film, seriously.)" Described as one of the worst aviation disasters in Indian history, the Air India Boeing 787-8 aircraft was operating from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick on 12 June 2025. The aircraft was carrying 230 passengers and 12 crew members, including 169 Indian nationals, 53 British, 7 Portuguese, and 1 Canadian. His vacation diaries gave a sneak peek of his family time in the picturesque location of the Eiffel Tower, packed with love, laughter and fun.
