NFL WAG Kristin Juszczyk put through grueling workout by husband Kyle
Couples who train together, stay together - that's if San Francisco 49ers star Kyle Juszczyk and wife Kristin are anything to go by. The fashion designer was put through her paces by her NFL beau Friday when she joined him in a grueling preseason workout. With the 2025 NFL season looming, the fullback began ramping up his preparation, taking to the field to run a series of drills and Kristin joined him for a 'dreaded 'come train with me"' day. Kristin, whose sports-inspired designs blew up after Taylor Swift wore one her custom puffer jackets to a Kansas City Chiefs game, shared a video to Instagram Friday showing her mimicking her husband's workouts to Survivor's 'Eye of the Tiger.' The entrepreneur, who married the Niner in 2019, copied Kyle as he tossed a medicine ball over his head and carried out a plank, crunches and sprints among other drills. On the whole, Kristin managed to hold her own, only occasionally losing her balance and failing to launch the weighted ball as far as her partner. 'He's not taking it easy on you at all lol,' another claimed, while a third added: 'Ok but you held your own during that workout- slaaaayed it!' The couple have endured a turbulent offseason, with Kyle, at one point, appearing likely to return to the Bay Area next season. Kyle was cut by the Niners in March following eight seasons with the team, only for San Francisco to sign him to a new contract just four days later. The 49ers had initially decided to cut Kyle, instead of paying him a $4.1m salary this season and up to an additional $500,000 in offseason workout and per-game roster bonuses. The team took on a $3.6m dead cap charge with the move but brought him back on a new two-year, $8million contract. He was also nearly cut last season but agreed to take a pay cut to stay in San Francisco. Juszczyk began his career with the Baltimore Ravens after they picked him in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. The 33-year-old was one of the first players signed after 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch took over in 2017 and has been a key part of the offense since then thanks to his versatility. Kyle faced a turbulent offseason after being cut by the 49ers only to later sign a new deal In an era when few teams use fullbacks, Juszczyk has played about half the offensive snaps during his time with San Francisco and has made the Pro Bowl all eight seasons with the team and nine times overall. He was a first-team All-Pro in 2023 and second-teamer in 2024 after fullbacks were added back as a position for All-Pro the past two years. Juszczyk had 19 catches for 200 yards and two touchdowns last season, while also rushing for 26 yards and a touchdown. He has 184 catches for 1,895 yards and 13 touchdowns in eight seasons with the Niners, along with 237 yards rushing and six more touchdowns on the ground.

9-time Pro Bowler has chance to accomplish rare feat after re-signing with 49ers
9-time Pro Bowler has chance to accomplish rare feat after re-signing with 49ers Fullback Kyle Juszczyk's return opens the door for him to accomplish an extremely rare feat in San Francisco 49ers history. ESPN's Adam Schefter on Saturday morning reported Juszczyk would be returning to the 49ers on a two-year deal after being released by the team early in free agency. Juszczyk has been with San Francisco since 2017 when he signed as a free agent from the Baltimore Ravens. A two-year deal gives him a chance to hit the 49ers' 10-Year Club − a wall in the team facility dedicated to players who spent 10-plus seasons with the organization. Only 51 players in 49ers history have made the 10-Year Club, and no player has done it since left tackle Joe Staley got there in 2016. Now San Francisco has two players on the roster potentially in line to reach the 10-Year Club in 2026 with Juszczyk and tight end George Kittle, a 49ers 2017 draft pick. However, Juszczyk's path would be exceedingly rare within the exclusive group. Of the 51 players in the club, only nine were not 49ers draft picks. Three of those nine were undrafted rookies, which leaves six players in the club for which the 49ers weren't their first NFL team. Of those six, one (quarterback Steve Young) was acquired via trade. Of the remaining five, two (wide receiver Mike Wilson and defensive lineman Dwaine Board) were released during their first preseason by the teams that drafted them. Of the remaining three, two (TE Brent Jones and linebacker Mike Walter) spent at least part of their rookie seasons on another NFL roster before joining the 49ers in their second year. That leaves one player, kicker Ray Wersching, who took the path Juszczyk is on. Wersching spent his first four NFL seasons with the San Diego Chargers. In 1977 he signed with the 49ers and spent his final 11 seasons in red and gold. Juszczyk was a fourth-round pick of the Ravens in the 2013 draft. He was with them for four seasons before joining head coach Kyle Shanahan with the 49ers as a free agent in 2017. Despite the brief hiccup of his release, Juszczyk is now in line to get into the 10-Year Club with a rare distinction of spending multiple years in the NFL before making his way to the 49ers.
