63% pass Intermediate advanced supplementary examination in Andhra Pradesh

The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) on Saturday released the results of the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE) May-2025. In a statement, BIE Secretary Kritika Shukla said among the first-year students, out of the total 1,40,872 students who appeared for the examination, 64,125 passed, registering a pass percentage of 46. In the second year, out of the total 97,963 students who wrote the examination, 61,987 passed, scoring 63% pass rate. In the first year, based on the combined results of the main examination conducted in March and the supplementary examination conducted in May, a total of 4,87,295 students appeared, and as many as 4,00,379 of them passed (342979 students passed in the main examination and 57400 passed in the supplementary examination) scoring a pass percentage of 82.16. In the second year, out of the total of 4,22,030 students who wrote the examination, 3,93,976 passed (3,51,521 in the main examination and 42,455 in the supplementary examination), securing a pass percentage of 93.35. Ms. Shukla said all efforts had been made for correct valuation of the answer scripts. However, there was a provision for the IPASE first and second year candidates to apply for re-verification (RV) and re-counting (RC) of valued answer scripts. 'Students can apply for reverification/recounting from June 9 to 13, 2025. Application fee for reverification is ₹1,300 per subject and ₹260 per subject for for recounting,' she said. The IPASE exams were conducted from May 12 to 20, 2025, at 1,104 centers across the State. The spot valuation was conducted from May 19 to 29 at 13 camps. The State Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has extended the dates for payment of examination fee for Intermediate first- and second-year students of both General and Vocational streams. In a statement on Saturday (May 3, 2025), the Board Secretary Kritika Shukla said first and second year Intermediate students appearing for the ensuing Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE), May 2025 can pay their examination fee from Saturday (May 3, 2025) to Monday (May 5, 2025.) Ms. Kritika said there would be no further extension of dates for payment of examination fee.
