Shuvee Etrata says she felt betrayed by AZ Martinez but 'malaki naman po 'yung heart ko to forgive her'
Shuvee Etrata acknowledged that she felt betrayed by AZ Martinez after the latter nominated her for eviction in "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," but she believes that her heart is big enough to forgive her. In Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Friday, the Sparkle star shared that she and AZ found their way back to each other when she returned to "PBB" as a duo challenger. "I-acknowledge ko lang din naman po, I felt betrayed nung time po na 'yun but malaki naman po 'yung heart ko to forgive her and we found our way back to each other naman," she said. "Parang nung bumalik po ako, naging emotional po ako kasi even if it's hard for me na nangyari po sa amin iyon, na we had to part ways like that, nandun pa rin po 'yung hope to form the bond again, to be okay again. Hinihintay ko lang po siya sa labas para po mas mapag-usapan namin." She also had a short but impactful message to her fans: "Spread love, not hate." During the interview, Shuvee also shared that she still feels guilty that she and Klarisse De Guzman got evicted. "I felt so bad kasi we were nominated because of me so parang 'yung guilt na 'yun until now, dala-dala ko siya, bubog ko siya," she said. She added that she could not believe all the love and support she received from fans when she exited Bahay ni Kuya, noting that she is still overwhelmed until now. Shuvee and Klarisse De Guzman were the latest duo to be evicted from "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." This week, Shuvee and Klang along with the other evicted "PBB" housemates returned to the house as duo challengers. Shuvee and Klang's return finally gave all of them closure, with the housemates turning emotional after getting the chance to speak to the two again. AZ got to apologize to Shuvee and Klang and share a hug with them. She also told Shuvee that she would make it up to her. Sungai Kapar Kechil pollution caused by lorry dumping waste, says exco
The water at Sungai Kapar Kechil in Kapar, Klang, has turned dark blue after a lorry dumped waste into it, said the Selangor government. (Facebook pic) PETALING JAYA : Waste dumped into Sungai Kapar Kechil in Kapar, Klang, is believed to have caused the pollution which has turned the water dark blue. Jamaliah Jamaluddin, who heads the public health and environment committee, said checks by the state's water management authority (Luas) at the river mouth and upstream showed no source of water pollutants. 'Based on information by the complainant and an inspection carried out, we suspect the river was polluted by a lorry dumping waste into it,' she said in a statement, adding that it was a 'one-off' occurrence. She said Luas has since taken samples at the site as well as at the river mouth and upstream, which will be sent to the chemistry department for analysis. 'But we will be monitoring the site from time to time to ensure no recurrence,' she said. Jamaliah advised the people to be alert and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. 'We need everyone to play their part to ensure that Selangor's rivers and water sources remain clean, safe and sustainable,' she said.

Port Klang rep confident columbarium near mosque won't be built
Villagers protesting against the proposed columbarium project next to a mosque in Klang. (Bernama pic) PETALING JAYA : Port Klang assemblyman Azmizam Zaman Huri has expressed confidence that the Klang Royal City Council (MBDK) will reject a proposal to build a four-storey columbarium near the Kampung Raja Uda mosque in Klang. He said the developer had failed to present or justify the suitability of the project in a Malay-majority area, Bernama reported. Azmizam said the proposal was clearly unsuitable as the land zoning under the MBDK local plan up to 2035 specifies the proposed project site is meant to be 'a limited commercial area'. Today, he was present at a public hearing on the project attended by the residents, the developer and the town planning department. It was chaired by MBDK deputy mayor Zary Affendi Arif at the council's building in Klang. Azmizam, who led the residents in protesting against the proposal, said that under current laws, only 28 types of limited commercial activities were allowed in the area – none of which include the construction of a memorial or columbarium. He urged MBDK to give an assurance that no construction would be allowed at the proposed site unless official approval is obtained, in line with Section 19 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1976 (Act 172). Kampung Raja Uda mosque nazir (administrator) Ismail Arsat voiced concern that the village's status as part of the royal city could be tarnished by the project. He said the iconic landmark and main attraction of the village, the Raja Uda mosque, could be marred if the columbarium is built just 83 metres from the mosque. MBDK said it would consider objections and proposals from both sides before referring the matter to the one-stop centre committee meeting on June 24 for an assessment.
