Coronation Street finally confirms if Kit is really Brody's dad

Is Kit Green a father? (Picture: ITV) Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) was thrown when he discovered Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) might be his son in Coronation Street recently. When he learned that Lou (Farrel Hegarty) and Mick (Joe Layton)'s boy was 16 years old, he realised the dates fitted the time when Mick was in prison – and Kit and Lou had a fling together. Lou, however, has been denying that Brody is Kit's son. This has left Kit unsure about where he stands, although we've seen his behaviour towards Brody reflecting the fact that there's part of him that really believes he could be Brody's dad. He's let him off with a warning after catching him stealing, and when he found Brody having an epileptic seizure Kit took care of him and stayed with him at the hospital until Lou arrived. Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) quickly warmed to the idea that she could be Brody's granny and urged Kit to do a DNA test to confirm whether this was really the case. She even 'borrowed' Brody's cap while he was in hospital to get some hairs off it for testing purposes. DNA duly dispatched, Kit is about to get the answer he's been waiting for – and it will change his world forever. Kit finally gets some answers (Picture: ITV) Kit used to hang out with Lou and Mick when they were younger (Picture: ITV) Brody is causing trouble again on the Street when Aadi (Adam Hussain) throws a midsummer-themed party at number 7, and Brody decides there's money to be made supplying LSD to Weatherfield's youth. Aadi kicks Brody out after seeing him with the drugs, but he doesn't go quietly and there's a fight. Then, with Brody gone, Aadi, Summer (Harriet Bibby) and Nina (Mollie Gallagher) prepare to take the LSD. Aadi, however, is distracted and when he comes back someone else has taken his share. With all of this going on at number 7, elsewhere Kit has had the DNA results. Bernie is desperate to find out whether she really is Brody's granny – and Kit confirms she is. He's the boy's dad. The father/son bond is about to be put to the test, though, when Kit receives a report of illegal drugs being circulated at the party – and the person who took Aadi's share of the LSD is now in a deteriorating condition. Kit questions Aadi about what went on at the party. Will he drop Brody in it by explaining that he supplied the drugs? And if he does, how will Kit's newly-discovered relationship with Brody affect how he handles the situation? Very impressive and instant results. Better even than my recent experience with a private dentist at a cost of £250 over a period of 6 weeks." Another added: "I used the strips consistently for a week before my holiday and was really impressed with the results. I struggle to keep my teeth white as a coffee and Coke Zero drinker, but noticed a visible difference and received compliments on the whiteness of my teeth too." Praise for a particular brand of teeth whitening strips has been pouring in, with a different user exclaiming: "Best strips I've ever used," and elaborating on their experience by saying: "I have used the strips for the last several months and they are now my go to for whitening my teeth. Not only do they provide great results every time, they are mess free and great value. I love these so much both myself and my husband used these for our wedding day. Recommend to all." However, not all feedback was glowing, as an Amazon customer shared their disappointment: "I closely followed the instructions, applying the strips to my teeth for an hour each day for three weeks. After this period, using the colour chart provided, I compared the colour of my teeth before and after the 3 week period. There was no difference! So, in my case, this product was not successful."

Another fan disagreed, writing: "I don't think a 13/14 year old would be allowed to donate sperm so Kit being Betsy's dad seems highly unlikely." He's just a sperm donor most likely a randomer wanting to earn some money like Lisa said." Betsy is the biological daughter of Lisa's late wife, Becky Swain - who died in 2021. History of the Coronation Street set By Jake Penkethman, TV Reporter 1960-1968 - Whilst the Coronation Street set remained on Quay Street for 53 years, it actually had three separate studio sites. The first was an entirely indoor wooden set which was used for the first eight years of filming. This encompassed a replica of the Street built entirely indoors. The set was known to be awkward for actors to use and the houses brought to three quarter scale. 1968-1982 - In 1968, the addition of an outdoor set was created to adjoin the existing indoor set which was still used for filming right up until 1982. The set was used only when required with many of the show's cast reportedly hating it and describing it as 'the coldest place on Earth'. 1982-2013 - A brand new set was officially constructed in 1982 and was almost built fully to scale but still only permitted for one car to drive down the cobbled street. The house were purpose-built using reclaimed Salford brick in order to give it the most authentic feel possible. During these years, some of the show's buildings were adapted to allow for both interior and exterior filming at the same time. These locations included Elliott's Butchers, Barlow's Buys, Prima Doner and Webster's Autos. The final scenes to be recorded on this site occurred in December 2013. By early 2014, it began operating as a tourist attraction for around two years before ultimately being demolished and re-purposed in 2017. 2014-present - In early 2014, the show's set moved to the TV hub of the North - MediaCityUK in nearby Salford Quays. It is now located a stone's throw from major TV studio Dock 10 as well as the BBC's base in the North - home to Blue Peter, Newsround, BBC Breakfast and BBC Sport. The new set was even bigger and built to 9/10 the scale of a real street and allowed for two card to be travelling down the road at opposite sides for the very first time. The site has even undergone major expansions during its 10 years. Just four years after opening in 2018, a brand new set extension was unveiled which introduced viewers to Victoria Gardens for the first time in its history. The Weatherfield North tram stop also became visible as did a series of shops which became used as part of product placement advertising deals. Brands to have been seen on the Street so far include a Co-Op, a Costa Coffee and a branch of Hay's Travel. Four years later in 2022, another brand new set was unveiled, this time being the heavily mentioned Weatherfield Precinct. It became the first time in 62 years that the area had ever been seen on screens. It fearued a variety of shop fronts, a playground and a number of small flats which have begun to house more and more residents on the street in recent months. Since arriving in Coronation Street, she had a short-lived bond with reformed bully Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan). Although this ended in tragedy when Mason was killed off at the start of the year. Betsy has also adjusted to life with her mum's new partner, Carla Connor (Alison King). Coronation Street airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
