Man on probation arrested on suspicion of marijuana, cocaine possession for sale
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Bakersfield man was arrested on Tuesday after probation officers allegedly found drugs and cash in his home, according to the Kern County Probation Department. On June 10, officers with the Probation Department conducted a home call in the 2500 block of White Lane, according to officials. During a search of the home, officers allegedly found about 29 grams of suspected cocaine, 378 grams of suspected marijuana and a large amount of United States currency in various denominations. Boron man arrested after traffic stop leads to ghost gun, narcotics Adrian Coronel, 31, who was on active post-release community supervision, was arrested for several charges related to possession of drugs and/or drug sales. Coronel was also arrested on suspicion of possessing other people's identification and violating probation, according to the department. Three arrested after probation officers find meth, firearms in Lincoln St home
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Three people were arrested on Tuesday after a search of a home on Lincoln Street led to the discovery of drugs and weapons, according to the Kern County Probation Department. On June 3, probation officers conducted a home call in the 1400 block of Lincoln Street, according to officials. During the search of the home, officers found about 30 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a loaded improvised 12-gauge shotgun frame and barrel, a loaded .38 special single shot pistol, a .22 caliber revolver, several rounds and U.S. currency. Bakersfield man on probation arrested on suspicion of drug sales under Prop 36 Juvenal Alva, 36, was on active felony probation, officials said. Alva was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm, possessing ammunition by a prohibited person, resisting an officer by force, possessing a controlled substance for sale and other drug-related charges. The probation department said Alva also had an active felony warrant. Ramiro Vasquez, 47, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale and an active felony warrant. Rogelio Alba, 39, was arrested on suspicion of resisting officers and possessing a nunchaku, the department said. Bakersfield man on probation arrested on suspicion of drug sales under Prop 36
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man was arrested after a home search led to the discovery of cocaine and money in his home on Tuesday, according to the Kern County Probation Department. On June 3, officers with the probation department's Post Release Community Supervision Unit conducted a home call in the 100 block of Hudson Street, according to officials. Officers found about 240 grams of suspected cocaine and U.S. currency in various denominations at the home, officials said. Erik Gutierrez Vega, 19, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance for sales and keeping a place to sell drugs, according to the department. Gutierrez Vega was also arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with two prior convictions under Proposition 36. Man on probation arrested in Lake Isabella under Prop 36
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Lake Isabella man was arrested on Friday after a search warrant led to the discovery of drugs and other illegal items, according to the Kern County Probation Department. On May 16, Adult Probation Services Division officers conducted a home call in the 2400 block of Cherry Street, Lake Isabella. During a search of the home, officers found about 15.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a gambling device and various denominations of United States currency, according to officials. Man arrested on suspicion of stealing city fencing, growing marijuana on property: BPD Michael Brown was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance for sales, possessing drug paraphernalia, gambling, obstructing a peace officer and violating probation, officials said. Man arrested on suspicion of using a truck, chain to pull front doors of a business in Shafter
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man on Post Release Community Supervision was arrested in Bakersfield after allegedly burglarizing a business in Shafter using a truck and heavy chain open the doors. Officers with the Shafter Police Department and Kern County Probation Department Post Release Community Supervision Unit served a search warrant in the 2300 block of Kent Drive in Bakersfield for evidence related to the burglary the happened on March 27. According to officials, the burglary was reported in the 6600 block of East Lerdo Highway. At the residence on Kent Drive, Jesus Garcia, 45, of Bakersfield was identified as the suspect in this case. Officials said Garcia was on community supervision for a previous burglary. During the search officers found several live rounds of ammunition, a bullet proof vest, suspected drugs and items consistent with tools used in committing burglaries.
