WINNER to proceed with concert without Mino
8 May - YG Entertainment revealed that their boy band WINNER will be holding a concert as planned, but that Mino will not be a part of it. Sharing the news on 7 May, the company stated that they are planning to hold the concert in July for the first time in approximately three years and three months. "This concert will feature all three members: Kang Seung-yoon, Kim Jin-woo, and Lee Seung-hoon performing together. As this was not an easy decision, we kindly ask for your support and encouragement," they stated. WINNER's last concert was in April 2022. The group went into a hiatus in 2023 when Mino and Kang Seung-yoon began their military service as a social service worker and an active-duty soldier, respectively. The two members were set to return after completing their service in December last year, but Mino was investigated on charges of violating the Military Service Act, making it unclear whether they would make a comeback. YG explained, "As this is a concert to celebrate WINNER's comeback and a place to meet fans after three years, we have already booked the venue a long time ago and prepared a high-quality stage. We decided to go ahead with the concert as scheduled, reflecting the members' firm will to meet their fans and for the fans who have waited for WINNER's stage for a long time."
