Jeremy Clarkson's latest addition to his Diddly Squat farm has Kaleb Cooper fuming that it will put him out of a job
Jeremy Clarkson 's latest addition has left his farmhand Kaleb Cooper fuming that he could be out of a job. The journalist, 65, revealed that although he finds driverless cars to be 'pointless', there is one automated piece of machinery that has captured his attention. But his right-hand man on the Diddly Squat farm in the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, isn't too happy about Clarkson's new purchase. And in his latest column, the former Top Gear revealed his new and 'extremely expensive' purchase for his sprawling 1,000-acre farm that Kaleb 'hates'. The landlord shared he had bought a brand new AgBot T2, describing it as the 'coolest machine in the world'. To his joy, instead of spending 30 hours on the back of on a cultivator preparing his land for seeds, now he can use the driveless tractor with less mistakes and boredom. The autonomous piece of farming machinery comes with a £300,000 price tag, according to Farmer's Weekly, while also boasting a 156 horsepower-diesel engine. But 26-year-old farmer and media personality, Kaleb, is less than thrilled about Clarkson's new toy. 'Kaleb hates it. He says it'll put him out of a job,' he wrote in his column for The Times. He recalled that he told Kaleb how he the machine could be used as part of his contracting business, allowing him to work several farms at once. Although he initially agreed, the 26-year-old eventually became aggravated by the AgBot once again, because he had to spread wildlife waste across the fields before the machine could get to work. 'And the simple fact is that he had to stop occasionally, to sleep for instance, and the AgBot didn't,' Clarkson added. 'He was literally being hounded by a machine that absolutely will not stop.' The broadcaster also announced he would be taking this development one step further, as his machine will attempt precision drilling alone, in a world first. Clarkson is still unsure if his plan will be successful, and will continue to be until harvest time rolls around. For now, he watches footage the AgBot from bed next to his partner Lisa, as the machine works across his fields in the darkness. The former Top Gear presenter is seen walking among pieces of farm machinery at the tractor sale in Sutton, near Ely in Cambridgeshire. His trusted farm manager Kaleb Cooper (right) was also spotted at the event The new purchase comes shortly after Jeremy sold his new Lamborghini tractor just months after making the agonising decision to buy it. The former Top Gear presenter was spotted at a farm machinery and tractor sale in Sutton, near Ely in Cambridgeshire, selling his colossal £85,000 tractor. He was seen attending the auction on Monday alongside his trusted farm manager Kaleb, as well as a large film crew. Onlookers at the event said Clarkson told fans he was selling the new tractor due to a host of electrical problems. The 65-year-old also vowed to bring his old cherished Lamborghini tractor back out of retirement - although it is unclear whether he was referring to his grey Lamborghini Trattori R8 270 DCR which he purchased for £40,000 second-hand. The move may come as a shock to fans of the hit Amazon series Clarkson's Farm, as just a few months ago Clarkson was filmed purchasing the high tech tractor and immediately falling in love with it. Episode four of the latest series sees Clarkson trying out loads of new tractors - much to the dismay of her partner Lisa Hogan. He eventually settled on a colossal £85,000 green Lamborghini tractor, boasting a 7.8-litre engine and 340 horsepower, leaving Kaleb gobsmacked.

Where is Clarkson's Farm and can I visit Diddly Squat farm shop and the Farmer's Dog pub?
JEREMY Clarkson leads the rest of the Diddly Squat gang as the show returns for its fourth season. While Diddly Squat Farm and Farm Shop have been somewhat of an attraction since the show's debut in 2021, the unveiling of Jeremy's new pub has made a lot of people wonder if they can visit. 3 Where is Clarkson's Farm and can I visit Diddly Squat Farm Shop and the Farmer's Dog pub? Diddly Squat Farm Shop and the Farmer's Dog are both open to visitors! After a brief closure to the Farm Shop earlier this year, fans can now visit again and make a trip to the idyllic Cotswolds. The exact location of the Farm Shop is 5-12 Chipping Norton Road, Chadlington, Chipping Norton, OX7 3PE. Once there, fans will be able to experience some of the key locations featured on the Clarkson -fronted show. While visiting the site, many will hope to catch a glimpse of the rising stars of the show, including fan favourite Kaleb Cooper, straight-man and farm management consultant Charlie Ireland, the humorous Gerald Cooper, plus farm shop front-woman and Jezza's partner, Lisa Hogan. The iconic shop has become a public attraction since it opened, with thousands flocking to it each year, much to the dislike of some of the community. For visitors coming from outside the Cotswolds, the trip can take two hours from central London by car, or two and a half hours by public transport. If fans are staying nearby there is the X9 bus from The Bell Hotel in Charlbury that will take them straight past the 1000 acres site and near the Farm Shop. 3 Previously, the farm also had a functioning restaurant on location called The Big View Café, but this was shut down due to excessive traffic. In response, this series of the hit show followed the former Top Gear presenter's trials and tribulations of trying to open a pub. Viewers watched each episode as Jeremy struggled to find a suitable pub for his new venture, despite the sheer number of venues available. Finally, Jeremy found a pub, which was formerly known as the Windmill, and renovated and renamed it to the Farmer's Dog. The latest weapon in Jeremy's farming armoury is located off the Asthall Barrow Roundabout, Burford OX18 4HJ. As it is a working farm, visitors are best to stick to the Farm Shop and Pub - so do not expect to see Jeremy riding around in his infamous Lamborghini tractor. 3 What can you expect at The Farmer's Dog? The pub, which champions British farmers, is sure to be on top of fans' bucket lists. Jeremy's main reason behind opening the pub was that he wanted everything to come from British farms within a certain radius, so don't expect to see any Heinz ketchup on offer. Instead, visitors to the pub can treat themselves to the steak pie, ham hock terrine, rhubarb crumble, and a wide range of other menu items, all knowing that it has come from local farmers. Since the pub opened, it has been extremely busy, and after the show aired, its popularity has soared. And so, for fans hoping to pay a visit in the near future, you may have to wait a while. Bookings for the new Oxfordshire landmark open each month but get snapped up fast, with forums set up on social media helping fans get their chance to visit.

Clarkson's Farm star Harriet Cowan attends her first celebrity event alongside Love Islanders as she poses in a patterned dress at Aussie launch
Clarkson's Farm star Harriet Cowan attended her first celebrity event on Wednesday night after finding fame on the hit show. The 24-year-old nurse and farmhand shocked viewers of the hugely popular Prime Video show when she appeared in the trailer for series four after Jeremy Clarkson's co-star Kaleb Cooper temporarily left the show. And she has been enjoying her time in the spotlight ever since, now boasting nearly half a million followers on Instagram. At the event for the Aussie Oh My Gloss collection launch in London she looked stylish in a white and blue patterned dress. She completed her look with beige suede shoes and accessorised with sunglasses as she enjoyed the event. Earlier in the day she had documented her journey to London on the train and joked she was 'sneaking a look' at some of the crops in the fields on her route. Harriet recently broke her silence on a 'fake' Clarkson's Farm scene as she spoke candidly on a new podcast. She has been helping out Jeremy with an array of tasks on the farm and impressing viewers while also challenging stereotypes around women in farming. And last week Harriet appeared on the Should I Delete That podcast with Jeremy's daughter Emily. She spoke about one scene in the trailer that she thought seemed 'fake' when she watched it back but was in fact completely true. They discussed on the podcast how busy farmers are and how Harriet also works a full time nursing job five days a week. Emily asked her: 'Do you ever sit down with your boyfriend and chill together, or eat together? It sounds impossible.' Harriet then said: 'No! In the trailer where it's like, 'Have you watched Clarkson's Farm before?' And I'm like, 'No', and when I watched it it looked so fake. But it is so real because we don't watch telly. 'Literally, if we watch something, James will sit down, his head will hit the back of the sofa and he's asleep because the second he can rest, he'll sleep, because he's so tired all the time.' Harriet recently broke her silence on a 'fake' Clarkson's Farm scene as she spoke candidly on a new podcast On the podcast Harriet also spoke about breaking stereotypes of women working in farming. She said of appearing on the show: 'I wanted to show that women can do it too, we are there but people can't see it. Women can do it. 'Most people think of just older men wearing checked shirts when it comes to farming. 'I am challenging people's views of what people think a farmer looks like. People are so shocked when they drive past and I'm in the tractor they just stare.' The recent Clarkson's Farm trailer showed Jeremy running into several obstacles on the farm, yet TikTok star Harriet made a good impression as she was quick to help. Jeremy was left in awe at her work, turning to the camera and gushing: 'She's brilliant!' She wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty as she put in fences, loaded feed for the animals and even showed her welding skills on Diddly Squat Farm. Kaleb - who was on a nationwide tour - later returned to the farm and seemed to be getting along well with his replacement. It's hardly surprising that Harriet was a natural on the farm, having grown up helping her father Eddy tend to his land. She revealed on social media that her mother wanted her to become a nurse but her father wanted her to follow in his footsteps - so she opted to do both.

Meet the Powys cat up for a National Cat of the Year award
A ginger cat from Powys that has become a famous face in its home town has been named a finalist for a national award. Four-year-old ginger cat Fizz from Llandrindod Wells has been named as a finalist in the Cats Protection National Cat Awards 2025, beating hundreds of other entries to take a place in the final alongside two other entries. Fizz has been shortlisted in the Connected Cats category, recognising cats who play a big part in their community and are well regarded by people in the area. With a Facebook page racking up 1,600 followers, Llandrindod Wells residents regularly get updates of his treks all over town as he visits the local landmarks like the newsagents, gym, bank, job centre, library and even strolled onto the stage at the local theatre during an appearance by Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper. His owner, 58-year-old property manager Briony Loder, said: 'Fizz started disappearing when he was nine months old. We were driving around looking for him everywhere, so we set up a Facebook page asking people to post a photo if they saw him. My phone is never silent. 'Fizz just loves to follow people. It doesn't matter if they're going five minutes or four miles, he'll follow them. He pulled a three-nighter once and ended up in a pub five miles away. "We've had the postman drive up with the post before and drop off the cat. Fizz has no fears and no boundaries. As far as Fizz is concerned, the town is his." He gets up at five in the morning, meows like mad until one of us gets up and lets him out, then he's off. He does what he wants, when he wants, I've just got to accept he's a natural born wanderer. He adores people and loves attention.' Fizz will now go through to a public vote to find winners in four categories – Connected Cats, Family Cats, Incredible Cats and Senior Cats, with the public being able to vote for their favourite finalist until 31 July. Category winners and the overall National Cat of the Year – chosen by a panel of judges – will be announced during a ceremony hosted by writer and presenter Dawn O'Porter in London on 24 September.
