Youtuber gets kicked out of famous Glasgow takeaway while trying to crown city's 'worst dish'
Konstantin, known as Kon, has nearly 1.4 million subscribers on the platform and has previously worked with stars like the Sidemen and KSI. A Youtuber got kicked out of one Glasgow's most famous takeaways after taking to the streets to crown the city's "worst-rated dish". Konstantin, known as Kon, has nearly 1.4 million subscribers on the platform and has previously worked with stars like the Sidemen and KSI. Earlier this month he shared the video entitled "I Tried Glasgow's WORST RATED Takeaways". The social media star and a friend headed out to order the dishes customers have complained about most in online reviews. The duo then said they would decide for themselves which of the city's takeaways offered the worst rated food in a bid to find their "unlucky winner of Glasgow's worst dish". The clip, which since being posted on June 3 has over 70k views, sees the pair head to some surprisingly well-known and popular spots, including Blue Lagoon and Chunky Chicken on Sauchiehall Street. Giving each a fair pop with the meals, the pair offer some fair scores and only really criticise the service at a poorly-rated KFC (with an average 2.8 stars) over a misunderstanding to do with the water. Heading to the Blue Lagoon at Central Station, they try the chips and new sausage éclair - which Kon says has TikTok viral potential - and describe the chips as "mid", while the pair aren't impressed by the deep-fried Mars Bar but that seems to be more to do with the concept than the dish itself. They mainly complained about the pricing at the city centre fave in the end. In fact, across the board, Kon stated he was surprised that none of the restaurants they tried were anywhere near as bad as the impression given by some of the reviews they'd come across online. Konstantin said: "I thought, oh yeah there'd be more like foods that are going to be gross, they're going to be disappointing, but everything has just been like bang average." He may have spoken too soon, however, as the music video producer then went on to really dislike the pizza from a local Indian, which you can see in the video above. After trying out food from a poorly-rated Chinese while sitting at a bus stop in Govan – which they were actually surprised by and gave a good review to – they headed to the now famous Best Kebab in the city centre. Appearing to be closed at 4pm, they had to wait until night time to go back for their kebabs. However, after being stared down by who they believed was the owner, they end up in an altercation - and after they beat a hasty retreat, they gave it zero stars as they weren't able to actually buy any food.

Video: UFC legend Demetrious Johnson submits KSI in 17 seconds
Yeah, KSI never stood a chance. The popular streamer hit the mat with former UFC flyweight champion Demetrius Johnson, challenging him to submit him in less than one minute. KSI got to choose the position in which they would start, and went with full mount – one of the most dominant positions in jiu-jitsu. Yet, despite the positional and weight advantage, KSI only lasted 17 seconds against the flyweight GOAT. Advertisement You can watch the video of their quick grappling match in the video below: Johnson, 38, is regarded as the greatest flyweight of all time. He defended the 125-pound title 11 consecutive times, setting and maintaining the record for the most consecutive title defenses in UFC history. "Mighty Mouse" announced his retirement from MMA last September, putting an end to a legendary 15-year-career in MMA. KSI, one of the word's most popular streamers, turned to the combat sports world in recent years. He's specifically been fighting professionally in boxing, and owns his own promotion – Misfits Boxing, which streams on DAZN. KSI HUMBLED by UFC legend as YouTuber is forced to tap in just 17 SECONDS during grappling match
KSI was forced to tap out after just 17 seconds during a recent challenge with UFC fighter Demetrius Johnson. The YouTuber, who has also fought in a number of boxing bouts, set himself a target of lasting one minute in a grappling match with the former UFC flyweight champion. KSI started the contest on top of Johnson, seemingly in an advantageous position. However, he was beaten comfortably by the MMA man, an arm-lock forcing KSI to tap out just with just 17 seconds gone on the timer. 'He put up a wager, he put up a challenge,' explained Johnson. 'KSI does not grapple, he's more of a boxer. — ً. (@C0MB4TT) June 16, 2025 KSI last took to the ring for a boxing bout when he lost to pro fighter Tommy Fury back in 2023 'So I am always down for a challenge, especially someone who doesn't grapple as much. 'I am 145 pounds, he's 210. You guys might say he ain't 260, I understand that but we're gonna get a little bit of a grapple on and see if he can survive for one minute against me on the ground.' He did not. The pair exchanged high fives before starting the clock, Johnson quickly getting off the ground and flipping KSI onto his back. Johnson first went for the leg but decided on the YouTuber's arm, warning him the time to tap out would come soon. KSI quickly realised he was in trouble and wisely submitted. 'Oh my god,' he said after tapping out. 'Holy sh*t.' Johnson last fought in the UFC back in 2018. He lost his flyweight title to Henry Cejudo after a record 11 championship defences. Johnson was subsequently traded to the ONE Championship where he fought until his retirement in 2024. After rising to YouTube fame, KSI turned his hand to boxing, infamously fighting fellow streamer Logan Paul on two occasions. One was a draw, the other a KSI victory. In 2023, KSI lost to boxer and former Love Island star Tommy Fury. That was his last fight to date after a number of attempts to get back in the ring were cancelled.
