What Happens In The End Of Echo Valley? The Echo Valley Ending, And THAT Shocking Death, Explained.
We just saw Julianne Moore nurture birds in , but in , she's training horses. The Apple TV movie sees her character Kate reunite with her daughter Claire (Sydney Sweeney) when Claire shows up at her then reappears covered in blood. That is far from the craziest thing that happens in this flick — and viewers are still talking about the ending. The real catalyst of all the drama in Echo Valley happens in two parts: Claire's drug dealer Jackie showing up to the farm, and Claire returning home covered in blood. Claire claims she killed her boyfriend Ryan, and Kate takes care of everything, including getting rid of the body. "Having Julianne as my scene partner was everything and more," Sydney Sweeney tells Fox 5 Atlanta. "I felt so safe, and I wanted to explore even deeper versions of who Claire able to get crazy and emotional and chaotic." Well, things get even more chaotic when Kate finds Claire and Ryan together, and realizes she was tricked into covering up a fentanyl overdose that could lead back to Jackie. The dealer drugs Kate and poses as a farmhand as he gets her to agree to burn her barn down for insurance money. But when the police show up and find Greg's body in the farmhouse, we realize that Kate really does take care of everything! Along with her friend Jessie, Kate grabbed Greg's body from the lake, framing Jackie for the overdose and the fire. Despite the fact Jackie takes the fall, actor Domhnall Gleeson loved seeing the story play out. 'There's something kind of amazing about the notion of underestimating someone and then the price you can pay for that," he USA Today. And in the final moments of the Echo Valley ending, Kate's dog wakes her up in the middle of the night. She sees Claire sitting on the porch and the mother and daughter just stare at each other. Are they on good terms now? 'I don't have a clue,' Domhnall admits. 'We don't know, and that's what makes it meaningful. We all hoped for one thing, and we worry it'll be the other. And that's the same as being alive. We're all hoping things will go a certain way and are worried it won't.' "That's a question for the audience, isn't it?" Julianne Moore Entertainment Weekly. "That's where the movie ends. The movie ends with, 'And here's a knock on the door.' I know what my answer is, but a lot of people who've seen the movie have said different things." Everyone will have a different reaction to that final scene, but Julianne Moore can't help but admit she'd take a step toward forgiveness. "I would open the door and let her in," she continues. "A lot of people have different relationships to that kind of thing. But I feel like she's forever and ever connected to this daughter." What did you think of the ending? Let us know on !

This LED Lip Mask Was On Sirens And Has Gone Viral – We Put It To The Test
In case you missed it, Sirens is the latest Netflix sensation taking social media by storm - and it's easy to see why. At the centre of the buzz is Julianne Moore, who dazzles as Michaela 'Kiki' Kell, a billionaire philanthropist with an eye for excess. Think: sparkling diamonds, flowing silks (the outfits in Sirens are particularly good), and ultra-luxurious beauty tech. One of her devices in particular has set the internet ablaze: the CurrentBody Skin LED Lip Perfector. Moore was spotted using it alongside her co-star Milly Alcock while prepping for a Vanity Fair photoshoot- and no, it isn't just a glamorous stage prop. The high-tech lip mask, which looks like something out of a sci-fi film, is very much real and available to shop. With glowing reviews from beauty lovers the world over, it's more than just a viral moment – but with a price tag nearing £190, the big question remains: is it actually worth the splurge? The Currentbody Skin Led Lip Perfector has been made with 56-deep penetrating LED bulbs to achieve more 'youthful looking lips.' It may sound (and look) a bit whacky, but there's plenty of research to support the idea that LED bulbs can have a beneficial effect on skin. With effective use (at least 3 minutes a day, every day) users should apparently see the softening of feather, smile and marionette lines as well as an increased plumping and evening of lip tone and texture. There's no pain, and no heat. 1. Currentbody Skin Led Lip Perfector What Currentbody says: 'An anti-ageing LED mask for youthful lips. Expect 56 deep-penetrating LED bulbs that will minimise wrinkles while plumping.' What we know: There's always something weird and wonderful where beauty tech is concerned - this one being the perfect example. For those who want a targeted lip and mouth treatment, this nifty device could be just the ticket. Look to the consistently good customer reviews for proof. Michaella Bolder, Grazia beauty panellist and facialist says:'Using a targeted tool such as LED will help to boost blood flow in the lips and encourage an increase in collagen production to improve lip balm absorption, plump and reduce fine lines created around the lip area through dehydration.' Pros Small - great for travelling Easy to use Quick Cons Industry leading facialist and Grazia beauty panellist Michaella Bolder says: 'LED lip masks like this one from Currentbody are a targeted tool designed specifically for the lip and outer lip areas,' she explains. 'The lips do not contain sebaceous glands (those responsible for producing serum / oily content) therefore they cannot withhold moisture and hydration alone. This is why we need to apply lip balm on a daily basis to keeps lips feeling soft and supple. Using a targeted tool such as LED will help to boost blood flow in the lips and encourage an increase in collagen production to improve lip balm absorption, plump and reduce fine lines created around the lip area through dehydration.' Rachael Martin beauty director says: 'This device is refreshingly simple to use- you just pop it in your mouth, much like a baby's dummy, and gently bite down for three minutes while the LED technology gets to work. There's no notable sensation- no tingling or heat- which makes it feel pleasantly low-effort. To be completely transparent, I haven't been using it long enough to see a dramatic difference in the fine lines around my mouth or the fullness of my lips. That said, I'm committed to sticking with it, knowing that results with devices like this take time. Plus, if it comes recommended by Michaella Bolder, I'm all in. Watch this space for my full review in a few weeks time.' This is far from the first time Netflix has been a hotbed for brilliant LED beauty recommendations. Case in point? The viral CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask, £299 beloved by Lily Collins in season three of Emily in Paris . Fictional beauty influencers aside, it would seem IRL beauty experts are willing to lend their seal of approval to LED technology when it comes to beauty treatments which work - just don't forget to be consistent. From summer-in-the-city outfit ideas to minimalist-friendly evening looks, not only will her ensembles have you feeling put-together everywhere from the sweaty train platform of the LIRR to a humid garden party, you'll also find plenty of dressing inspiration for the season ahead with these seven ensembles, below. Photo: Neil Mockford / Getty Images Elevating the T-Shirt Sticking to the basics is always a good idea. Moore's personal twist comes through her color play, opting for a charcoal gray T-shirt atop an écru trouser jean for a fresh spin on minimalism essentials. Adding a modern pump in coordinating cream, and a chunky, chain necklace, are those fashion-forward, finishing touches that really make this one pop. Photo: Neil Mockford / Getty Images Playing With Poplin Anyone sweating it out during the summer months, knows the power of lightweight, cotton pants. Perhaps partly inspired by the coastal vibes of Sirens, this polo sweater and white pants combination looks the part of Moore's character Michaela Kell summering in a New England abode. An off-the-shoulder option reaads subtly sexy, and can be worn over and over with a change of accessories. Here, we love how Moore went for tonal earrings in onyx, sharp patent-leather mules, and a straightforward evening bag, to compliment her black-tie-appropriate ensemble.

‘Echo Valley' movie review: Julianne Moore shines in this routine thriller
A horse farm in Pennsylvania serves as the setting for this rural noir. Written by Brad Ingelsby, the brains behind the stunning Mare of Easttown, Echo Valley is a by-the-numbers thriller made watchable by the luminescent Julianne Moore. Grieving for the death of her wife in a riding accident, Kate (Julianne Moore), is struggling to run Echo Valley, a horse farm, they ran together. When the contractor gloomily says repairing the roof would cost $9,000, Kate asks her wealthy ex-husband, Richard, (Kyle MacLachlan) for the money. Echo Valley (English) Director: Michael Pearce Cast: Julianne Moore, Sydney Sweeney, Domhnall Gleeson, Kyle MacLachlan, Fiona Shaw Runtime: 103 minutes Storyline: A grieving widow goes to extreme lengths to keep her troubled daughter safe Richard unwillingly writes her cheque, chastising her for indulging their heroin-addicted daughter, Claire (Sydney Sweeney), who is in and out of rehab. Richard also tells Kate to sell the farm as it is not turning a profit and it does not make sense to throw good money after bad. Late one night, Claire visits Kate, dragging in all her problems as well. There is her druggie boyfriend, Ryan (Edmund Donovan), the scary drug dealer, Jackie (Domhnall Gleeson), a deficit of $10,000 and a body to dispose off. Kate is willing to go any lengths to protect Claire, who knows it and manipulates her mother. Though there is a body and a police investigation, Echo Valley is more of a relationship drama with thriller elements thrown in. That the said ingredients would hardly have you gnawing your nails in suspense wondering what happens next, does not do the mercifully short movie any favours. Echo Valley is propped by excellent acting starting with Moore who invests so much into her character that we are forced to do the same. She is tough and broken, grieving and warm, caring and razor sharp. Sweeney is excellent as the damaged Clair who is like a wrecking ball destroying everything in her path. Gleeson makes it easy to hate the execrable Jackie, which says a lot about his acting prowess. Fiona Shaw (Maarva from Andor) as Kate's best friend, Jessie, provides a hearty anchor to all the fraught proceedings. Produced by Ridley Scott and Ingelsby, among others, another plus in Echo Valley's court is Benjamin Kračun's (Promising Young Woman, The Substance) lovely frames. There seems to be a misty beauty to the constant rain, the rolling greens and the serene lake. The horses as always are a sight for sore eyes and there is also the dog, Cooper, who knows more than he is letting on. Not as nuanced as it could have been, Echo Valley's cast and cinematography manage to make it watchable. Echo Valley is currently streaming on Apple TV+
