Julia Fox and Richie Shazam Are Selling Off Their Designer-Filled Wardrobes To Support Trans Rights

This Pride Month, let your impulse purchases go to a good cause. Cult favorite New York City-based fundraising label Mother, Daughter, Holy Spirit (MDHS) has marshaled the forces (and celebrity power) of the city's fashion industry to raise money and awareness for the Trans Justice Funding Project. Beginning today, you can shop the designer-filled closets of Julia Fox and Richie Shazam, who have donated pieces alongside models and icons including Tommy Dorfman, Chloë Sevigny, and Hari Nef. Founded by Bobbi Salvör Menuez and John Mollett, MDHS has been dedicated to advocating for trans rights. In the process, it has built a fiercely supportive community, attracting stars including Madonna and Alex Consani (who walked the organization's secondhand-filled runway show in Valentino alongside actress Cynthia Nixon earlier this spring). 'I think through the perilous times and the climate that we're living in right now, community support is really vital. Whatever we can do to be of service is important,' model Richie Shazam tells ELLE. According to the ACLU, in the first half of 2025 alone, over 500 anti-LGBT+ bills have been introduced in the United States. She adds of the label, 'This organization operates like a heartbeat in New York, filled with really incredible characters and personalities and people all working with a common goal.' In addition to the celebrity closet sale, from which you can snag archival Jean Paul Gaultier, Marni, Willy Chavarria, Tanner Fletcher, and more, MDHS tapped White Lotus actress Aimee Lou Wood and her sister Emily alongside City Girls rapper JT to design exclusive T-shirts as a part of the brand's Pride Month initiatives. 'Adults' star Jack Innanen breaks down the Charlie Cox moment that made him gag on set

While Adults (on Disney+ in Canada, Hulu in the U.S.) has already been making us laugh every week, Episode 6 of the show is absolutely outrageous, in the best way. Speaking to Yahoo Canada in Toronto, one of the show's stars, Canadian Jack Innanen, talked about all the entertaining chaos in that episode, featuring Charlie Cox and Julia Fox. The core story for Episode 6 is that Billie (Lucy Freyer) wants to host a dinner party, with the hopes of showing a mature side of herself and her friends to her boyfriend, her former high school teacher, played by Cox. As Billie says, it's their "roast chicken" era. While everyone seems to at least be trying their best to be mature, things take a turn when Billie's boyfriend shows up and tells Samir (Malik Elassal) that he's high on a "pony dose" of ketamin, stressing that Samir can't tell anyone. But Samir can't help but tell his friends, but not Billie, as her boyfriend starts acting more and more bizarre. To add to the chaos, Paul Baker (Innanen) invites a friend to dinner, and it happens to be Julia Fox (playing herself), who makes his girlfriend Issa (Amita Rao) jealous. "I think the episode pretty much captured what it was like in real life," Innanen said. "I had a couple moments where I was just looking around like, 'What are we doing? This is awesome.'" "It was chaotic. Charlie, [he does this] dance and that was all him. And I remember he was just really into it and killing it. And I was standing off to the side just to watch. ... And then Julia, ... I'm pretty sure she just improvised every one of her lines, and it's so perfect. And it's so her that it was just like a master class. ... A bunch of takes my mouth is just open because I'm just like, 'Wow.!" It all leads to Billie serving a raw chicken, not knowing that it needed to be thawed before going in the oven. But in Mr. Teacher's high, he just keeps cutting this raw meat, with blood splattering, and it looks absolutely revolting. And then Cox's character starts eating the raw meat. For Innanen, that made him feel queasy on set. "I gagged. For real," Innanen said. "I don't do well with raw meat." "Someone else gagged too, which made me gag. ... What he ate, obviously, was like a gelatin thing. ... But it was real raw chicken on my plate. ... The best part was that we went to lunch right after that, and they were serving chicken, and it stayed absolutely untouched. Not a single person, like all 100 of the cast and crew, no one touched the chicken." And after that, Cox's character has a completely breakdown, with his ex-wife having to come get him out of Samir's parents home. With Episode 6 already being a highlight, looking ahead in the season, Innanen teased that Episode 8 includes a particularly shocking moment. "The last like 20 seconds of Episode 8, I've heard ... a lot of people go, 'Whoa. I wasn't expecting that,'" Innanen teased. "And so there's a little bit of a bomb drop, mic drop, at the end of eight that I think throws a little bit of a wrench in the group." We can't wait to watch more Adults for the rest of the season, but maybe with less raw chicken.

Eos is expanding its flavor palette to include a zesty new lip balm. The fast-growing body care brand has partnered with Blue Moon to introduce the latest addition to its multicolored spherical balm collection, inspired by the beer company's iconic Valencia orange garnish. This is Eos' first food and beverage collaboration and Blue Moon's inaugural beauty partnership. ' We've never created a custom bespoke flavor in partnership with another flavor-driven company in the food and beverage world and specifically developed it in such a customized way to enhance the flavor of their product as well.' Fusing together sustainable ingredients such as coconut oil and beeswax, the formula promises long-lasting hydration and a smooth, non-pigmented finish. There's no age requirement to drink in the limited-edition lip balm; however, the product is intended for a new generation of 21 and older consumers who may have enjoyed a glass of alcoholic beverage before. The citrus accent cut and squeezed on the side of almost every pour of Blue Moon has been a ritual among the beer company since its 1995 debut. ' It's sort of a huge part of what makes us so special and unique as a brand. It's one of our core identifiers, like almost if you see a shape of an unbranded glass with an orange garnish on it, you know that it is a blue moon,' said Courtney Benedict, vice president of marketing for Molson Coors Beverage Company, the owner of Blue Moon. ' From a Blue Moon perspective, it sort of opens up the aperture on people experiencing something similar to the garnish regardless of where they are, which is pretty cool,' Benedict told WWD. The two companies plan to bring this product to life through a series of in-person activations throughout the summer, with some events held in locations where customers typically enjoy a drink of Blue Moon. 'Our products are meant to bring joy and delight into these small moments. We wanna make that specific moment feel more enjoyable,' Kang said. The future of food partnerships at Eos depends on the success of this collaboration, but Kang noted the brand's interest in similar opportunities. The cult-favorite, spherical lip care was once a bestseller for the brand. As of today, Eos' body products — shaving creams, cleansers, lotions, oils and oil butters — make up more than 50 percent of its total business, which in part is thanks to the surge of ShowerTok, or shower routine videos, during the COVID-19 pandemic and an industry-wide expansion into body care. Julia Fox ditched her outlandish style in favor of a more traditional, natural look while promoting her new movie The Trainer in New York City on Monday. The 35-year-old actress was the epitome of elegance in a figure-hugging spring 1997 dress by Jean Paul Gaultier, featuring an old Hollywood print. She accessorized the look with knee-high boots and a matching bag while hairstylist John Novotny added a final touch: her brunette wig, which was parted in the middle. She reflected on the high-profile split while making her first-ever appearance on CBS Mornings earlier that day with The Trainer writer and co-star Vito Schnabel. Julia told Gayle King: 'I was going through a lot during that time. I was coming off of, like, a very public breakup. It was horrible. And I just wanted to go to work and be able to just be somebody else. I loved being her. I feel like I have so much in common with her in terms of you know being, like, overlooked or not taken seriously or just dismissed. 'And I feel like that's why our characters kind of just, like, had this unique love story.'
