FC Barcelona Set To Receive $46 Million Cash Injection By End Of Month
Spanish soccer giant is set to receive a $46 million (€40 million) cash injection by the end of the ... More month as reported by the likes of German reporter Christan Falk and Mundo Deportivo. Spanish soccer giant FC Barcelona is set to receive a $46 million (€40 million) cash injection by the end of the month as reported by the likes of German reporter Christan Falk and Mundo Deportivo. German group Libero agreed to pay the money in 2023, in relation to the resale of ownership stakes in Barca Studios which is also connected to the 'financial levers' of the previous summer that allowed the club to sign first team stars such as Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski and Jules Kounde. The fact that it hasn't been forthcoming until now has required Barca and its president Joan Laporta to perform numerous bouts of economic gymnastics to stay on the right side of Financial Fair Play, and there have also been intentions to sue one another from both parties. Yet might no longer be necessary in the near future according to CENAFE president Miguel Galan, who tweeted on X that 'at the end of this month of June, the club is about to complete the sale of the percentage that the Libero fund stopped paying for Barca Vision. With this operation, normality will be restored in the transfer market,". Galan added that "the operation is practically closed through a European partner, who will contribute €40 million and will solve a problem that has affected the club in recent months". Elsewhere, Christian Falk, who is a respected source of information on X and a BILD journalist, has also said that the cash will come from the Libero group. Falk explained that Libero will make the €40 million payment bringing its total invested to €60 million considering a €20 million already paid. After seeing that another European group was about to step in its place, Libero seems intent on acting swiftly and finally putting the matter to bed. Libero's money will help FC Barcelona stay on the right side of FFP limits and hopefully maintain the right to return to the 1:1 rule which is so important to making new signings. Laporta seems confident of it, saying on Wednesday that 'we're in a 1:1 situation and that allows us to sign normally' amid a pursuit for Nico Williams.

Nico Williams Wants Barcelona Move But $75M Clause Creates a Problem
Nico Williams Wants Barcelona Move But $75M Clause Creates a Problem originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Many reliable reports suggest that Nico Williams' move to FC Barcelona for next season is getting closer. The Spanish winger is eager to join the reigning La Liga champions. Advertisement The 22-year-old winger is desired by many top European clubs, including Bayern Munich, but Williams's preferred destination this summer is a move to FC Barcelona. He was linked to a move to Barcelona last summer but decided to stay another season at Athletic Bilbao. This summer is different, as the player reportedly told Barcelona his strong desire to join the club. RAC 1 reports that FC Barcelona will try and sign Nico Williams this summer. Mundo Deportivo reports that FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta approved the club to approach Athletic Bilbao in signing their star winger, but the club may face a financial obstacle that could hinder the signing. Release Clause Problem Nico Williams has a release clause in his Athletic Bilbao contract that is worth around $75 million. A club like Bayern Munich is willing to pay that clause, but with the player's eagerness to join Barcelona, the German club will have to wait. Advertisement The onus is now on Barcelona's hands now to pay the release clause and sign Williams this summer, but the issue is how to pay it. El Partidazo de COPE reports that the release clause of $75 million will have to be paid fully and not in installments. Barcelona has reportedly paid in installments for recent signings. COPE also reports that Laporta is interested in other players for that position. The club is looking to build a stronger attack for next season. FC Barcelona stars tease Nico Williams' arrival Three days ago, Sport reported that Williams met with FC Barcelona to talk about a potential move to the club. After the news came out, Lamine Yamal posted an image of himself and Williams on his Instagram story. Many took it as a hint that the two will play together next season at FC Barcelona. Yamal wasn't the only Barcelona star to hint at Williams' arrival at the club. Advertisement Today, 433 posted a report from Florian Plettenberg suggesting Hansi Flick's desire to sign Nico Williams. FC Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde liked the post, and fans started to get more excited. Perhaps the move is progressing well. Other options for FC Barcelona FC Barcelona has been monitoring other players for the left-wing position. Players like Liverpool's Luis Diaz and Manchester United's Marcus Rashford are top targets for Barcelona this summer. Diaz seems the preferred option for Laporta and FC Barcelona sporting director Deco. A deal to sign Diaz is complicated, which is why FC Barcelona is looking towards signing Williams instead, according to Fabrizio Romano. Advertisement The summer transfer window officially opened today, which will allow top clubs to begin bidding for players. With Williams reportedly choosing Barcelona as his preferred destination, Barcelona will now analyze whether it can spend $75 million now to bring in the exciting Spanish talent. Barcelona hold talks with 19-year-old attacking talent
Barcelona President Joan Laporta seemed confident on Wednesday evening when declaring that the Catalan giants could 'sign normally', and the club certainly appear to be acting under that impression. Following a move for Nico Williams, the Blaugrana have held talks with another attacking talent. In this case, it is Swedish talent Roony Bardghji. The 19-year-old has been linked with a variety of Europe's top clubs since breaking through into professional football as a 16-year-old, and Fabrizio Romano reports that the Blaugrana have now held talks directly with his camp, and have been informed of the numbers it will require to make a deal happen. It is noted that Porto have already submitted an offer for Bardghji, although that is yet to be accepted. Bardghji is likely to be on the move sooner rather than later, with his current deal at Copenhagen expiring at the end of 2025. This season Bardghji has played just 243 minutes after coming back from a cruciate ligament tear. Atletico Madrid also interested in Bardghji Europe's top clubs are lining up for Bardghji despite his injury and lack of game time though, and earlier this year, Atletico Madrid were cited as one of the sides most interested in him. All the same, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Manchester United and Chelsea have all been watching him closely. Barcelona have been scouting Bardghji for at least 18 months too. Photo by Lars Ronbog / FrontZoneSport via Getty Images Bardghji offensive separate to Nico Williams deal Romano does note that Barcelona's pursuit of Bardghji is separate from their move for Nico Williams, and the two deals would not have an impact on each other. The 19-year-old primarily operates off the right wing, cutting in onto his left, but has also played through the middle before. So far he has made 84 appearances, scoring 15 goals and giving one assist.

Why Barcelona are ‘losing patience' with attacking transfer target
The board at La Liga giants Barcelona are growing impatient with the situation of a headline member of the club's summer transfer shortlist. That's according to Mundo Deportivo, who highlight Luis Díaz as the player in question. Advertisement Wide-man Díaz has of course seen his name pushed somewhat into the background in Catalunya's capital over recent days. This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the Colombian has been overtaken in the race to be a new Barcelona player by Athletic Club standout Nico Williams. This shift came for a number of reasons, not least of them the fact that Nico himself is actively pushing for a Camp Nou switch. A similar approach had been expected on Díaz's part for some time now, but is yet to come to fruition. And as per the aforementioned MD, as much has not gone down well with the likes of Deco and Joan Laporta: Advertisement 'In the case of Luis Díaz, Barcelona have begun to lose patience. Joan Laporta and Deco's plan was for the Colombian to put strong pressure on Liverpool. However, aside from Díaz's statements in a recent press conference, the reality is that there has not been any significant pressure on the Anfield leadership.' Conor Laird – GSFN

FC Barcelona Has Another ‘Unexpected Transfer'
FC Barcelona will stand to profit from what has been dubbed an 'unexpected transfer' by the Catalan ... More press. FC Barcelona will stand to profit from what has been dubbed an 'unexpected transfer' by the Catalan press. On Wednesday, the Blaugrana finally announced that it had secured the signing of Joan Garcia from Espanyol after paying the goalkeeper's €25 million ahead of last weekend. Though Barca is not involved in the ongoing Club World Cup where bitter rival Real Madrid drew with Neymar's former employers Al-Hilal in its opening match, Garcia is expected to slot in to Hansi Flick's first team immediately. This could speed up the departure of previous mainstay Marc-Andre ter Stegen, though he has claimed ignorance on the subject and apparently won't go quietly amid interest from Saudi Arabia and Galatasaray in Turkey. President Joan Laporta has excited fans by hinting that the club is working on its next transfer and that there could be another one after that. A Euro 2024 winner and close friend of Lamine Yamal, Nico Williams is expected to be the first port of call for Flick's left wing and can be obtained by paying another release clause which on this occasion would be a much higher $66.4 million (€58 million). 'We are about to make a signing that will be imminent and another that we are very excited about his incorporation. The fact that we are at 1-1 allows us to sign normally and we will continue in this line,' Laporta said, before an FC Barcelona Senate. Yet even though that might be the case, it is believed that Barca will still be dependent on sales to get its deals over the line. Ronald Araujo's is perhaps the most attractive potential operation out of the club given that his release clause drops to $75 million (€65 million) for the first 10 days of July as per the terms of his contract. Ansu Fati to AS Monaco on loan would also help in that it gets his high salary off the books, but that deal is stalling. Yet while FC Barcelona struggles to make sales, it continues to generate money on those of its former players. Thanks to its former reserve star Ludovit Reis signing for Clube Brugge for €6 million, it will take 25% of the transfer leaving it with a €1.5 million payment that is not exactly a windfall but still greatly welcomed in the grand scheme of things.
