Meet Jeetendra's sister-in-law, who once gave tough competition to Sridevi, Jaya Prada, got married at 62, is now..., name is..., husband is...
We are talking about a film that was telecast almost daily. It is a tale so deeply etched in our memories that even without naming it, you know the bond of a stern father, a silent son, and a love that grew without words. Guess the film? Umm.. any guesses, which is this movie we are talking about? Okay, one last hint — the husband who couldn't read a single word ensured his wife wore the officer's uniform… then built an empire of his own. I'm sure you must have guessed it right! Yes, we are talking about Sooryavansham. We know almost everything about the lead actor, Amitabh Bachchan, but do we know about the lead actress, Jayasudha, who is a popular South actress? Jayasudha's iconic role as Amitabh Bachchan's on-screen wife in 'Sooryavansham' continues to captivate audiences to this day. However, her personal life has often overshadowed her professional achievements, with her three marriages making headlines. Her third marriage at 62 sparked intense discussion and scrutiny, keeping her in the news for reasons beyond her cinematic legacy. Do you know, Jayasudha is also the real-life sister-in-law of iconic actor Jitendra? Jayasudha's first marriage to film producer Vadde Ramesh in 1982 was short-lived, ending in divorce. She then married Nitin Kapoor, Jitendra's brother and a film producer, in 1985. Their sons have followed in their parents' footsteps, making a mark in the South film industry. Reportedly, tragedy struck in 2017 when Nitin Kapoor, Jitendra's brother, took his own life by jumping from the sixth floor of his Andheri residence. Reports suggest he had been battling depression. Jayasudha was left to raise their children alone after his passing. Jayasudha's third marriage at the age of 62 Later, according to several media reports, Jayasudha's third marriage at the age of 62 surprised everyone, as she had married an NRI. But Jayasudha called these reports a rumour and clarified that he is a filmmaker. He wanted to make a biopic on her, and that is the reason why he is seen with her all the time. From a teenage debutante to a seasoned star, Jayasudha's work in Tamil and Telugu cinema is impressive. Often likened to contemporaries Sridevi and Jaya Prada for her pan-South appeal, Jayasudha has carved out her niche in the industry, earning her a lasting legacy.

Gogamedi murder accused's ‘aide' held over AK-47 recovery
Jaipur: Rajasthan Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) on Friday arrested a man believed to be a key link in the recent AK-47 rifle recovery case. Jitendra Singh, also known as Jeetu Jodi, 30, on Friday for allegedly supplying an AK-47 rifle in Jaipur. Jitendra is linked to the murder of Sri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena President Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi in 2023 and gangster Raju Theth. He is a close associate of Virendra Charan, a prime suspect in Gogamedi's killing. AGTF officials said Jeetu Jodi had a criminal record at the Kotwali police station in Churu district, from where both he and Charan are. Investigators believe Jitendra sourced the AK-47 and brought it to Jaipur. His interrogation aims to uncover how he secured the weapon. Jitendra faces charges including attempted murder, land grabbing, and Arms Act violations. His arrest is pivotal in AGTF's efforts to dismantle illegal firearm networks in the region. The AGTF also arrested Shivraj Singh from Hathoj village for allegedly aiding criminals from Dholpur in obtaining the weapon. Shivraj reportedly assisted Jeetu Chambal, a criminal from the Chambal region, who came to Jaipur under his brother Sonu Chambal's instructions. Unfamiliar with the area, Jeetu relied on Shivraj, who facilitated the transfer of the AK-47 concealed in a cricket kit bag to Jeetu's vehicle. The AK-47 seizure has spotlighted the Lawrence Bishnoi gang network. Investigators suspect the rifle was part of a larger arms smuggling operation led by Mahendra, a known weapons supplier. During a previous investigation into the Gogamedi case, police found a photograph of an AK-47 in Mahendra's Jagatpura flat. However, Mahendra escaped with the weapon before police could apprehend him. Mahendra Kumar alias Sameer is accused of sheltering Nitin Fauji, who is implicated in Gogamedi's murder at his flat.
