Jet2 launches summer sale with £29 flights to 475 destinations — but you'll need
We might be basking in a UK heatwave, but there's still nothing quite like lazing on a beach in Europe. And whether you love visiting the likes of Portugal, Spain, Greece or Italy, you might want to head to the Jet2 website, as the budget carrier has just launched a massive summer sale. The airline is offering over 20,000 one-way seats in June and July, with prices starting from just £29. There's a staggering 475 routes on sale from their 13 UK bases: Belfast International, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, London Stansted, London Luton, Manchester, and Newcastle. Travellers are spoilt for choice with the hundreds of destinations, from favourites like Faro and Tenerife, to less popular spots such as Reus in Spain, or Jersey, in the Channel Islands. Fuel your wanderlust with our curated newsletter of travel deals, guides and inspiration. Sign up here. But if you're looking to book a last minute trip, you'll need to be quick. The sale is short but sweet, with tickets only available until midnight on Friday June 20. Steve Heapy, CEO of said: 'Customers are going to absolutely leap at the chance to book a flight for just £29 this summer, so our message is book now before they are all gone. 'With award-winning flights available from across our network of 13 UK bases this summer, we have fantastic choice whether it is some well-deserved sunshine or a stunning city break. 'Our famous VIP service and industry-leading customer experience, for just £29, means holidaymakers will be scrambling to jet to the sun with us this summer and we cannot wait to welcome everybody onboard!' Just 14 miles off the coast of France, Jersey almost has a split personality. You can sink a pint at a traditional English pub, then walk along the seafront on a road named La Route de la Liberation. The capital, St Helier, hosts a Norman food market, and there are sun-drenched beaches that wouldn't be out of place in mainland Europe. I visited Jersey and instantly fell in love with the laid-back island, its stunning scenery and friendly locals. More Trending Go in the summer and head to St. Brelade's Bay, loved for its wide expanses of golden sand and the original Jersey Crab Shack. There's also the stunning Portelet Bay, with its steep steps that descend from the cliff to a sun-trap beach. If you don't want to venture down to the sand itself, the Portelet Inn is an olde worlde pub with panoramic views over the bay. But you don't have to embrace a slower pace of life in Jersey. Thrill seekers should head out on a RIB with Jersey Seafaris, for a fun-filled ride along the crystal clear waters. One of their most popular tours takes you to The Ecrehous – a small group of isolated islands just eight miles from France. Taking your own beers on board is encouraged, and you might even spot some dolphins (and brace yourself for some high-speed doughnuts in the harbour). If it's a rowdy pub you're after, the Trafalgar Arms in St Aubin is the place to quench your thirst – be prepared for your night to escalate. Do you have a story to share?
