Jesy Nelson 'never felt more lucky' as she shares sweet snaps of twin daughters
Former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson welcomed her twins on 18 May but only got to take them home last week after they spent some time in the NICU Jesy Nelson admits she's 'never felt more lucky in her life' as she shared snaps of her newborn babies with fans on social media. The former Little Mix singer, who struggled with a difficult pregnancy, revealed last week that her baby twins arrived back at her home for the first time after she welcomed them on 18 May. In a sweet update shared on Instagram, Jesy shared a carousel of snaps and videos of her daughters, Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster, with whom she shares a partner, Zion Foster. She posted pictures of them looking cosy, wrapped up in towels, as well as a video of Zion dancing with one of their babies. Jesy also shared numerous snaps of her babies lying on her chest and a snap of them enjoying a sunny day while sleeping in a pram. "Have never ever felt more lucky and blessed in my whole entire life," the singer captioned the wholesome post. Friends and fans rushed to the comment section to share their love for the couple and their newborn babies, with influencer Luke Hamnett writing: "Gorgeous gorgeous family." "You deserve every moment and enjoy every feeling beautiful momma," Safiyya Vorajee commented and one fan added: "You're a beauty human. You deserve such beautiful miracles." In May, Jesy delighted fans when she revealed her children had arrived "healthy and fighting strong" after arriving prematurely. She also recently shared her experience with the girls in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). She wrote in an online post: "Nothing or no one will ever be able to prepare you as a parent for NICU. "It's the most scary overwhelming feeling of emotions not being able to feel like you can protect your babies. Naturally as a mother you just want to hold them and comfort them when they cry but you can't because there are what feels like a million wires coming out of them. "Tubes and masks in the way with people poking and prodding them, it breaks your heart into a million pieces. "But slowly as the days go by and they get stronger and wires start to come away, moments like this feel like a dream." The Black Magic singer shared her happiness over the fact her children were reunited together following treatment. She explained: "Having them reunited for the first time ever today was the most magical feeling I will never be able to describe. The strongest little girls I've ever known who really do have the most inspiring story to tell."

He also addressed the other twin, saying: "You wanna do some dancing too?" Last week, Jesy confirmed the baby girls were finally home - after a long hospital stint. She penned on Instagram: "My babies made it home for my birthday." One fan responded: "I knew they would make it home to be with you, precious miracle girls they did it for you. "They love you so much and wanted to be with mummy on her special day. Happy birthday angel!" While another shared: "So happy you guys are all home together." During her pregnancy, Jesy was diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS). Jesy Nelson gives birth to twins two months early after emergency procedure to save their lives TTTS is a rare but serious condition in which blood flows unevenly between identical twins sharing a placenta - putting both babies at risk. The diagnosis took Jesy and Zion by surprise and they revealed they had no idea what TTTS was before the diagnosis. Jesy has already had a successful operation, though didn't specify the type of procedure, and has been keeping herself busy with a self-care and beauty regime. Meanwhile Zion ran the London marathon with less than five weeks training, in order to raise money for the charity Twins Trust in honour of their little ones. What are the different types of twins? Can identical twins be two different sexes? Identical twins are always of the same sex because they form from the same fertilised egg that contains either female or male chromosomes. The single egg is divided into two separate embryos, and they occur in about three in every 1000 deliveries worldwide. Therefore, boy/girl twins are always fraternal (or dizygotic), as their chromosomes are either XY (male) or XX (female). What are Di Di twins? Di Di stands for Dichronic Diamniotic, and they are the common type of twins. They have their own amniotic sacs and placenta, so are just sharing the womb of the mother, and are therefore not identical. There are few complications with Di Di twins, so have a good chance of being born completely healthy without intervention from your doctor. Di di twins are more likely to be non-identical than identical. As he completed the 26.2mile mission, Jesy watched from her room and declared in a sweet post: 'I honestly didn't think I could love you any more than I already do @zionfoster but you have made me and our babies the proudest!!!! 'You had under 4 weeks to train for the London Marathon and you have worked your absolute bum off to be able to cross that finish line today whilst raising money for an amazing cause @twinstrust and for our babies.' The charming video captured 25-year-old singer Zion tenderly singing to one of his baby girls on their bed, while he demonstrated some lively dad moves and Jesy chuckled along in the background. Just a week prior, Jesy shared the uplifting news that her baby twins had made it to their family home for the first time. The ex-Little Mix vocalist introduced her daughters, named Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster, to the world on May 18. The little ones came prematurely, born at just over 31 weeks, amidst a risk-laden pregnancy troubled by twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. The 'Mine' singer spent considerable time hospitalised after requiring emergency surgery to safeguard her unborn children. With evident pride, Jesy disclosed that she and her daughters have returned home, just shy of a month since they were born, making it back in time for her own birthday celebration. In an Instagram post shared last week, the songstress uploaded a snapshot cradling her girls at home, appending the heartfelt words: "My babies made it home for my birthday," reports the Mirror. Jesy Nelson has finally brought her twins home from hospital. The former Little Mix singer and partner Zion Foster welcomed daughters Ocean and Story into the world on 15 May, over eight weeks before their due date, and were being treated in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), but the couple were delighted to have their girls discharged ahead of Jesy's 34th birthday on Saturday (14.06.25). Sharing a photo of herself looking at her daughters - who wore personalised babygros featuring the slogan 'Happy birthday mummy' - Jesy wrote on Instagram: "My babies made it home for my birthday [teary and white heart emoji] (sic)" The Boyz singer announced her daughters had been born a few days after their birth. She wrote on Instagram at the time: "So… Our beautiful baby girls decided to come at 31 weeks plus 5 days. It all happened so quickly, but we are so blessed that they are here with us, healthy and fighting strong! We've never felt more in love. "Everybody meet Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster. (sic)" Jesy's Instagram post also included photos of herself and Zion cradling their baby girls. Two weeks ago, Jesy - who was diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, which can put one or both babies at risk, during her pregnancy - opened up about how heartbroken she has been to have such little physical contact with her children while they were in NICU. She wrote alongside a photo of her cradling both babies while Zion beamed at the camera: "Nothing or no one will ever be able to prepare you as a parent for NICU. It's the most scary overwhelming feeling of emotions not being able to feel like you can protect your babies. Naturally as a mother you just want to hold them and comfort them when they cry but you can't because there are what feels like a million wires coming out of them and tubes and masks in the way with people poking and prodding them it breaks your heart into a million pieces." The photo marked the first time the tots hadn't been in separate incubators. She added: "But slowly as the days go by and they get stronger and wires start to come away, moments like this feel like a dream.
