The cutest Jellycat for your star sign: What's best suited to each zodiac from croissant to skateboard

Jellycats are fast becoming our new obsession. Forget asking for a new bag, or an air fryer for our birthday, these are top of the list of must want gifts. The cute cuddly toys originally designed for kids, have found themselves a new adult fan base in the last few years (which we count ourselves in) thanks, in part, to their fun new designs, including the Amuseables collection which sees food, drinks, sports objects, and plants become animate objects with faces and personality. However, with the new designs comes a lot of Jellycats and if you're looking to start your collection but are overwhelmed by the sheer amount of Jellycats there are (it's heavenly at this point) then we've got you covered. The best way we think to decide on something is often through your star sign, after all, if something is catered to your personality type it's going to be a good fit. And so we've sorted through the many Jellycats to recommend below the best Jellycat that most matches your zodiac sign.

I visited Ireland's smallest city that's ‘place of wonder' with cobbled streets & countless bars for perfect staycation

THERE'S a lot more to Kilkenny than hurling or stag dos. The marble city with no actual marble is a place of wonder. The cobbled streets and the countless bars and restaurants across both sides of The Nore really draw you in, and the people make you never want to leave. 5 Myself, Avril and our baby daughter Cara travelled from Athlone 5 We stopped to look at the Hurler's monument outside the Castle walls 5 The 'Shenanigans' walking tour with Nevin Cody was the highlight But the best thing about the place are its locals - and that was a very quick realisation when myself, Avril and our baby daughter Cara, arrived from The Club House Hotel right bang in the thick of it all was the ideal base. Built in 1797 as the local foxhunting club, it was branded a Ian Brennan and Joanna Hannick are its second-generation owners. READ MORE IN TRAVEL Both of them were constantly around the place ensuring their guests wanted for nothing, and summed up the Kilkenny warmth we were greeted with at every turn. We were handed the keys to one of their newly-renovated, colour-bursting The apartment was ideal for anyone with a We had dinner in the hotel restaurant on night one. As a Most read in Travel Mark, the There wasn't much room for dessert apart from a pint of Guinness, and that went down well too. WALKING TOUR Tired from her The After a brief stroll and a look at the Starting off at the main Castle gates, Nevin was easy to spot with his tweed suit, peak cap and wonderful personality. The Nevin was an absolute joy with his endless gags and jokes and was an incredible fountain of information, too. It turns out that Kilkenny are called the Cats for a reason far from cute, and we had no idea that the city held so much history from saints and sinners to infamous hangings and witches. LUNCH DEVOURED Nevin swept us across town as we put our left legs forward, arms in the air and roared 'SHENANIGANS!' for all to hear on our dander from the Castle through High Street towards Rothe House. We were taken to the stunning the Black Abbey - with Ireland's largest stained-glass window before wrapping up at Kyteler's Inn - the home of Kilkenny's infamous Dame Alice Kyteler - who fled to Cara managed to stave off the hunger until we got as far as The Left Bank for lunch, and she devoured her baby bowl and we followed suit with hot pots and chicken caesar wraps. It was nap time for the baby so I went solo from the hotel across to Café la Coco, and realised why there was always a queue outside the place all day long. When Cara woke up, we wandered around town for a while and took in the Castle Yard, which is laced with an array of local crafts. We stocked up on healthcare products from MySkin integrity, wonderful cards from Geraldine Walsh Art and a hand-poured candle Wired Irish Crafts along with a Jellycat baby book from Kilkenny design that Cara hasn't let go of since. 'SUPER FEW DAYS' From here, it was off to Sullivan's Tap Room for dinner - amazing pizza and in a really cool outdoor heated pod where Cara could chill in peace and we could still feel the buzz. Avril then treated herself to a sound bath at KORU Wellness back the Castle Yard. This is a deeply relaxing experience in a yoga studio, lying on mats listening to melodic tunes and percussion - and was an hour of pure chill. It was the perfect way for Avril to round off a super few days, and unwind before setting sail for home the next morning and sure enough, it barely rained. Thank you, Kilkenny - we'll be back! 5 Avril and Cara 5 Nevin was an absolute joy WHERE TO STAY & HOW TO GET THERE GET THERE WE travelled by car from Athlone which took around two hours via the M6, and then down through Tullamore, Mountmellick, Portlaoise, Abbeyleix, Durrow and Ballyragget. Travel from Dublin is much simpler via the M7 and M9, and takes roughly 90 minutes by car, or train from Heuston station. STAY THERE THE WONDERFUL Club House Hotel was incredibly central, welcoming, warm and affordable. Getaways start from €127 for a single and €165 for a twin/double room per night with air conditioning and plentiful on-site parking. For more information, see: DO THERE SHENANIGANS walks with Nevin was absolutely fantastic and won the Tripadvisor 'Travellers' Choice Award 2021' for the best thing to do in Ireland. Tickets start at €25 and can be booked at KILKENNY castle is the centrepiece of the city and self-guided tours start at €8. Thief steals hundreds of dollars worth of toys by shoving them down her pants

Don't miss out on the headlines from Lifestyle. Followed categories will be added to My News. CCTV footage showed the shocking moment a brazen thief steals around $800 worth of Jellycats by stuffing them down her pants. The huge haul of Jellycat soft toys was taken from St Peter's Garden Centre, south west of Birmingham, England, after a woman stuffed a 'significant amount' of the stock into her trousers and bags. Footage filmed on June 7, 2025, showed a woman helping herself to items as she walked through the store, casually adjusting her pants as she went. Jellycats are uniquely shaped soft toys that are hugely popular right now, thanks to their quirky designs and super-soft material. Over the past year, the brand has experienced significant growth in popularity. William Blake, managing director of St Peter's Garden Centre, said: 'We were deeply disappointed by the incident, where a significant amount of stock – over $800 worth of Jellycat toys – was stolen from our store. 'As an independent, family-run business, every loss impacts not just our shelves but the hardworking team behind the scenes. 'Our staff work tirelessly to create a warm and welcoming environment for all visitors, and it's disheartening when that is taken advantage of. 'We're co-operating fully with local authorities and we'd like to thank our customers for the response to the video and all their continued support.' Jellycat toys are extremely popular right now. Picture: Supplied The woman stole $800 worth of Jellycat toys. Picture: CCTV West Mercia Police said: 'We received a report of theft from St Peter's Garden Centre on June 11. 'Inquiries are ongoing.' In Australia, stores such as David Jones stock Jellycats, with the department store seeing a massive uptick in sales in previous years. 'We've seen strong demand for the brand and an increase in sales in not only their iconic bunny which they are best known for but also more niche/unique styles,' a David Jones spokesperson told last month. 'There has also been a noticeable shift in the consumer who is buying this product, traditionally bought for children we have seen demand from Gen Z thanks to social media driving the trend among this group.' It comes as Aussies have gone wild for the Labubu craze, a furry plushie featuring a bizarre grin and sharp teeth. Designed by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung, the product is sold by Chinese toy company Pop Mart following a collaboration with Lung on his story series book The Monsters, released in 2015. While the Labubu hit the market in Asia in 2019, the toy only took off after Blackpink's Lisa, a popular K-pop singer, was spotted with a $32 keychain-version of the doll attached to her handbag in April 2024. And in just 12 months, the whole world has become hooked, including Aussies.
