Britney Spears' rarely seen son Jayden, 18, towers over her as they reunite after feud

BRITNEY Spears' rarely seen teenage son Jayden towered over her, as the pair reunited following their feud. The Stronger hitmaker, 43, is building on her relationship with her youngest child, after they didn't see each other for two years. 4 4 4 4 Britney Spears, 43, shared her reunion with Jayden in a sweet video on Instagram. In the short clip, the superstar singer can be seen beaming and flicking her hair as she stands next to her very tall son. Jayden looked equally happy to be with his mom, as he filmed the sweet moment. Brit's son towered over her, with the petite singer previously revealing: "He is [6ft3in] and his hands are so big now!" The pair looked happy and relaxed to be in each other's company as they continue to rebuild their relationship. The Hit Me Baby One More Time hitmaker also revealed she had bought Jayden a brand new Mercedes AMG SL 63 roadster valued at $187K. Britney shares her son Jayden with her ex-husband Kevin Federline. The former couple, who were married for three years, also share another son, Sean Preston, 19. In 2023, Jayden and Sean moved to Hawaii with their dad and his new wife, Victoria Prince, and the their two half-sisters. There were rife reports of a rift between the two sons and their famous mother, which was sparked after her conservatorship was terminated in November 2021. In 2022, Jayden said in a statement: "I love you a lot, and I hope for the best for you. Britney Spears breaks silence after cops called over star's 'dangerous' behaviour on plane "Maybe one day we can sit down . . . and talk again and have a normal conversation." The reunion comes after a source revealed that Britney was "focusing on rebuilding" the bond she has with her sons. The source also added that they were on the road to being "super close" again, which now rings true Britney Spears' conservatorship timeline In September 2021, Britney's case returned to a Los Angeles courtroom where Judge Brenda Penny made a number of bombshell rulings, following her father's decision to end the conservatorship the month prior. She ruled to rid Jamie of his daughter's conservatorship, however, it did not mean the end of the conservatorship altogether. Speaking in court, Judge Brenda Penny said: "Based on what I read in the filings, and I read everything. I do believe the suspension of Jamie Spears is in the best interest of Britney Spears. "The current situation is unattainable. The court finds the toxic environment Jamie Spears has created needs to be removed today." Following the judge's decision, a temporary conservator was put in Jamie's place for about a month. In early November 2021, Jamie was back in court filing new legal documents that show he's done fighting. Jamie had previously demanded $2 million in exchange for stepping down but documents at the time showed that he was not seeking any further compensation. On November 12, Judge Penny ruled in favor of the pop star, removing Jamie from the position of conservator without requiring any further mental examination from Britney.

Britney Spears' son Jayden, 18, towers over her on Father's Day after estrangement

Britney Spears continued to bond with her youngest son Jayden James Federline, following a two-year estrangement, on Father's Day in a snap where his 6ft3in frame towered over her 5ft4in frame. The 43-year-old Grammy winner was so thrilled to finally reconnect with the 18-year-old high school grad, she bought him a brand new Mercedes AMG SL 63 roadster valued at $187K. 'He is [6ft3in] and his hands are so big now!' Britney - who boasts 148.4M social media followers - gushed on June 8. 'How long am I going to be in shock? It's so incredibly crazy, it's not even funny! I'm blessed! Just please be careful with my heart too!' Worryingly, Jayden never let go of his iPhone while driving the silver sportscar and glanced down at the screen at least twice during her video despite California 's hands-free driving laws. Federline is said to be pursuing a career in music production, and her team is concerned he may be taking advantage of Spears and her industry connections. 'Everybody is wary that he is using her for financial gains and for his career,' a source exclusively told the Daily Mail last Wednesday. 'The fear is this could hurt her and be the last straw for her.' Coincidentally, Jayden got back in touch with the semi-retired pop star last November - the same month she made her final $20K child support payment to second ex-husband Kevin Federline. Meanwhile, Britney and the 47-year-old former back-up dancer's 19-year-old son Sean Preston Federline remains 'guarded' after her 'favorite' son Jayden confessed to the Daily Mail in 2022 that she 'struggled giving us both attention and showing us equal love.' 'We've both been through so much pressure in the past that this is our safe place now, to process all the emotional trauma we've been through to heal, heal our mental state,' Federline explained. Spears - whose 13-year conservatorship finally ended in 2021 - divorced Kevin in 2007 after only two years of wedded bliss, and he amassed $5M in support payments during the 17 years he had primary custody of their children. In 2022, Federline posted surreptitiously-filmed footage of the Balenciaga collaborator scolding their kids at age 11 and 12 without her consent, and he later admitted it's 'tough' for teenagers to see her posting nearly nude dance videos on Instagram. Britney will soon release her first-ever jewelry brand, B. Tiny, featuring 'delicate, extremely different, and one-of-a-kind pieces.' Spears is also said to be very hands on with her fully-authorized biopic for Universal Pictures, which is still in the developmental stage. Worryingly, Jayden never let go of his iPhone while driving the silver sportscar and glanced down at the screen at least twice during her video despite California's hands-free driving laws On March 23, director Jon M. Chu shut down speculation over whether Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, Millie Bobby Brown, Emma Roberts, Sydney Sweeney, Addison Rae, Florence Pugh, Tate McRae, or Olivia Holt were in contention to play the Hold Me Closer hitmaker. 'None of this is true,' the 45-year-old Wicked filmmaker tweeted. 'Sounds exciting but have not had one conversation about casting this movie yet. We are way too early in development. Sorry.' On August 1, Universal 'paid in the low eight figures' for the rights to Britney's NY Times-bestselling 2023 memoir The Woman In Me and music catalogue in the movie from producer Marc Platt. Simon & Schuster originally paid Spears a $12.5M advance (25% of the net profits) to pen the critically-acclaimed tell-all with three alleged ghostwriters - Ada Calhoun, Sam Lansky, and Luke Dempsey.

Britney Spears under fire for sharing clip of her son Jayden driving dangerously

Britney Spears has been criticized for sharing a clip of her son Jayden Federline using his phone while driving. The singer, 43, uploaded a video of her youngest child, 18, behind the wheel of a convertible, with the two of them enjoying some mother-and-son time together. Britney filmed from the passenger seat, panning the camera to show Jayden driving - but many viewers were left outraged that the teen was holding his phone and looking down to check it while driving. Captioning the clip Britney gushed: 'He is 6ft 3in and his hands are so big now! 'How long am I going to be in shock? It's so incredibly crazy, it's not even funny! I'm blessed! Just please be careful with my heart too!' Eagle-eyed social media users were furious to see that Jayden appeared to be pre-occupied while driving and called out both mother and son for being 'distracted.' Taking to Reddit, one social media user said: 'These are screenshots from the video as he's driving down the road with Britney in the passenger seat… 'Britney, once again, needs a "mother of the year" award for being so stupid as to let her son do this AND post the evidence for the world to see.' 'Not good Brit,' another replied. 'Not good. No one had eyes on the road.' A third pointed out: 'The touching his hair while he's driving is also dangerous.' It is unclear which state Britney and Jayden were traveling in but in California, where she lives, it's illegal to hold a cell phone while driving, except for emergencies. Drivers 18 and older can use hands-free devices such as Bluetooth or speakerphone but cannot cover both ears. Britney shares sons Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden James with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, 47, whom she was married to from 2004 to 2007. The singer reunited with both her children last November after almost three years apart. Over Christmas, Britney called Jayden her 'twin' as she proudly shared snaps of him on Instagram. Alongside a trio of images showing off her youngest son, Britney said: 'Mine forever! 'It's weird we're like twins but he's a boy and I'm a girl! He's mine I hadn't seen him in two-and-a-half years or maybe three. I'm in shock!' She continued: 'He came back and he feels older and smarter than me! He's a man and I cry everyday of my life because of the miracle and genius he is! When he plays the whole earth shakes!' The images featured Jayden on what looked like a hike, wearing a red T-shirt and oversized blue jeans. A month before, in November 2024, a source revealed to Page Six that Britney had reunited with Jayden after years of estrangement. At the time, the insider shared that they had been 'spending a lot of time together.' However, Sean Preston was still in Hawaii at the time of the reunion. 'Britney is thrilled to have her baby back. Everything is moving in the right direction,' the source stated. Jayden reportedly reached out to his mother and an insider also told Us Weekly that he 'is spending time back in California but does not live with Britney.'
