Meet the Ponies event held by Binghamton prior to Season Opener

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – With the Binghamton Rumble Ponies heading on the road tomorrow to head to New Hampshire for their season opener on Friday, it was time once again for the community to be able to come out, show their support, and meet the ponies. The Meet the Ponies event took place at the Holiday Inn in downtown Binghamton. It was a formal sit-down mixer, where fans were able to show up, meet the players and coaching staff, and also participate in a variety of different auctions. The team was able to speak with fans about their thoughts on the program, and the organization was able to discuss new things that will be happening around the club. According to General Manager Richard Tylicki, it's not just a chance for fans to meet players and get the ins and outs of the organization, but it's also important to the club to be able to interact with the people after they have been away in the off-season and touch base with the fans. The Rumble Ponies take on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats Friday at 6:35 to open their season with Jack Wenninger on the mound on the road in a 3-game series through Sunday. They then host Hartford in their home opener on April 8th, the start of a 6-game series against the Yard Goats. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
