JAMS Funk Fest to return to NYS Fair
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A fan favorite plans to return. JAMS Funk Fest 2025 will have a lineup of entertainment at Chevy Court Stage on Saturday, August 30. Performances will kick off at noon and last until 9:30 p.m. According to the Fair, Youth group CJack Run Presents will be the first to perform, followed by Stevie Wolf Blues Express (Mississippi Blues), UAD (Temptations-style Stepping/singing group), The Music of Enchantment featuring former recording member, David Banks (National Recording Artist Stepping/singing group), and Blacklites (Old School Funk and R&B). Rose Royce will close the day with their signature Funk and R&B sound during an 8:15 p.m. performance at Chevy Court. 'It's The Fair's 11th year of partnering with JAMS, and we're so excited to present another successful Funk Fest so fairgoers can enjoy the work of these legendary musicians,' said Director Julie LaFave. The JAMS acronym stands for Joined Artists, Musicians, and Singers. It is a collaboration of creatives from Syracuse. Peter T. Cahill of the Maui Second Circuit Court in Hawaii to administer cases arising out of the Maui fires that occurred on August 8, 2023. Ms. Yanni was appointed along with Hon. Louis M. Meisinger (Ret.), Hon. Daniel J. Buckley (Ret.) and Keith Hunter. She and the joint special masters will create, coordinate and manage the development of the Individual Settlement Plan under the Individual Settlement Agreement.
