Mogadore ends Western Reserve's tournament run
MASSILLON, Ohio (WKBN) – Mogadore rolled past Western Reserve 44-27 in the Division VII Girls Basketball Regional Semifinals at Massillon Perry High School on Thursday night.
The Wildcats took control early on, outscoring the Blue Devils 18-2 in the first quarter.
Isabella Mauro led Western Reserve with 10 points in the setback.
Mogadore's Ari Thompkins piled up a game-high 20 points in the win.
Western Reserve ends the season with a record of 18-7.
With the win, Mogadore improves to 22-4 on the season. The Wildcats advance to face Danbury in the Division VII Regional Final on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Massillon Perry High School.
