1.6 lakh Inter first-year students pass supplementary exam in Telangana
HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) released the results of the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations on Monday. According to Board officials, around 2,49,358 first-year Intermediate students appeared for the exam, of whom 1,68,079 qualified. In the second year, approximately 1,35,107 students took the exam, and 68,665 of them passed. Candidates wishing to apply for recounting or re-verification cum scanned copy of the valued answer script must pay the applicable fee online via the BIE website under the 'Student Online Services' section. The fee for recounting is Rs 100 per paper. The fee for scanned copy-cum-reverification is Rs 600 per paper. The payment window is open from June 17 to June 23. TGBIE has also arranged for counselors in 2,500 junior colleges to help students cope with exam-related stress and fear. Telangana Intermediate Supplementary results announced; about 1.23 lakh first-year students show improvement
The Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations conducted from May 22 to 29 helped 1,23,796 first-year students improve their scores. Another 1,42,566 students did not show any improvement. The total first year pass percentage was recorded as 67.4. Among them, girl students recorded 73.92% pass rate and boys 61.89%. A total of 4,13,880 students, for both general and vocational stream, appeared in the Supplementary exams conducted at 892 centres. The practical exams were held from June 3 to 6. Among the second-year students, only 28 secured higher than 75% marks or A grade, and 76,223 candidates passed compartmentally. The total pass percentage was 51.7. The 2025 pass percentage in supplementary examinations, for both years — 67.4% and 50.82% — is the highest compared to 2023 (62.58 and 46.06) and 2024 (63.86 and 43.77). The trend is similar for vocational stream students in the first and second years also. The results were declared online by Secretary (Education) Yogita Rana and BIE Secretary Krishna Aditya, and were made available on and Mr. Krishana Aditya advised students to take colour prints of the online memorandum of marks or short memo from the official websites from 5 p.m. on Monday. Students of both years can also apply for recounting of papers and supply of scanned copy-cum-reverification of valued answer scripts. Each paper can be recounted by paying ₹100 and ₹600 for a scanned copy of each subject. Payment for both the services will be open till June 23.
