The innovations for 2025 include: The AI innovations at Roland-Garros build on a journey of AI advancements by Infosys, incorporating machine learning and applied AI into properties like Match Centre, AI Videos & AI-Assisted Journalism. These continue to evolve with expanded feature sets to enhance player performance, fan engagement and tournament experiences. Beyond tech innovations, Infosys is also collaborating with Fête le Mur (FLM), a charity partner of FFT, to support tech-enabled learning initiatives for underprivileged youth in Paris. As part of this, FLM will help develop tennis-related learning modules on Infosys Springboard, a digital learning platform which enables upskilling for digital inclusion and social impact. A group of 60 students will be offered the chance to visit Roland-Garros and take part in AI and technology workshops led by Infosys experts. As per various media reports, Infosys will use its AI-powered platform, called Infosys Topaz, to upgrade workplace systems. This move is part of plan to become more modern and efficient through digital technology. which provides energy across Europe through its networks, infrastructure, and retail services, wants to build a more digital-friendly work setup. As the energy sector changes quickly, the company needs smarter tools to keep up. Infosys will help by introducing AI tools that make work smoother, more efficient, and based on data. Victoria Ossadnik, head of digital and innovation, said that using digital tools is very important for building energy systems that are reliable, low-cost, and environmentally friendly. She added that working closely with Infosys is a key step in helping become more advanced and ready for the future. The main goal of this partnership is to make work easier and more flexible for employees by giving them more control over how they work, employees can be more productive which will in turn help the company bring in new ideas faster. Infosys paid CEO Salil Parekh Rs 80.62 crore as salary in FY25, up 22%

IT major Infosys paid a remuneration of Rs 80.62 crore to chief executive and managing director Salil Parekh for financial year 2025, according to the company's annual report. This comprised of Rs 7.45 crore as base salary, Rs 49 lakh as retiral benefits and a variable pay component of Rs 23.18 crore. Parekh earned Rs 49.5 crore by exercising his stock options. This is up from Parekh's FY24 payout, which was at Rs 66 crore, and FY23 at Rs 56.4 crore. Parekh's income was 752 times the median remuneration of the company's employees. His remuneration is also higher than TCS CEO K Krithivasan, who made Rs 26.5 crore in FY25, as per the IT company's annual report released earlier this month. From experimentation to deployment: IT firms now focus on AI agents

IT services firms are now focusing on AI agents, as clients across sectors demand agents that can effectively communicate as well as enhance productivity. Agentic AI can operate independently, make decisions and also initiate workflows. It uses reasoning and autonomously solves complex issues. Tata Consultancy Services chairman N Chandrasekaran in his letter to shareholders said that the company is establishing a large pool of AI agents working alongside the human workforce. The company said in its FY25 annual report that AI is transitioning from single-purpose solutions to Agentic AI to solve complex business problems. Infosys has launched over 200 enterprise AI agents that are part of Infosys Topaz AI offerings. The company said the AI agents are designed to drive tangible outcomes for enterprises by transforming complex workflows and managing intricate, multi-agent business operations efficiently at scale. 'These enterprise AI agents cater to multiple sectors, including healthcare, finance, retail, telecom, manufacturing, and agriculture. Leveraging advanced machine learning and cognitive architecture, the agents are equipped with powerful capabilities such as data extraction to transform raw inputs into actionable insights and multimodal functionality to handle diverse data types effectively,' the company added. For instance, Infosys said, in the area of predictive network capacity planning, a monitoring agent continuously tracks real-time network capacity and alerts for any immediate concerns. The company added that in the manufacturing domain, a forecasting agent uses real-time data to predict demand for vehicle parts, thus optimising inventory and managing the supply chain. Balakrishna D R (Bali), executive vice-president, global services head, AI and industry verticals, at Infosys, said: 'The development of more than 200 enterprise AI agents marks a milestone in our continued efforts to innovate and lead in the enterprise AI space. With Infosys TopazTM AI offerings and Google Cloud's advanced AI frameworks, we are enhancing Human+AI collaboration and unlocking new levels of efficiency and precision across industries.' Infosys also launched Agentic AI Foundry, a comprehensive solution designed to accelerate the development and deployment of reliable production-grade AI agents. A recent report by Nasscom in partnership with management consulting firm Avasant said that AI Agents are poised to drive the next wave of enterprise transformation in 2025. 'The next frontier of enterprise transformation is being shaped by AI agents, which are rapidly progressing from experimentation to deployment. As organisations move toward synchronous AI architectures, AI agents are emerging as a core capability. Currently, 27% of enterprises report having AI agents in production or at scale, while 31% are at the proof-of-concept (PoC) stage, and another 30% plan to initiate PoCs or scale deployments in CY2025. Enterprises are expected to spend 3-4X more on AI agents in CY2025 as a result of synchronous AI systems, signalling a strategic reallocation of budgets away from classical AI and even GenAI toward more interactive, autonomous agent-based systems,' the study added. Sangeeta Gupta, senior vice-president and chief strategy officer at Nasscom, said: 'The transition to synchronous AI agents marks a fundamental shift towards seamless human-machine collaboration, unlocking new levels of productivity and innovation. Enterprises that invest in modular, agile architectures and build AI-ready workforces will be best positioned to navigate uncertainty and capture growth opportunities in the coming decade.'

Infosys BPM introduces AI Agents to ensure better efficiency, accuracy in invoice processing

Infosys BPM, the business process management arm of Infosys, has on Friday announced the launch of AI agents for invoice processing within its flagship Infosys Accounts Payable on Cloud solution. Powered by Infosys Topaz, the innovation would redefine invoice processing by moving from a human-driven, AI-supported model to an autonomous AI-first approach, said the company. According to Infosys BPO, designed to operate autonomously, the solution leverages AI agents equipped with advanced decision-making capabilities to handle complex business scenarios with precision and speed. Autonomous AI-first approach enables end-to-end workflow management, allowing AI agents to handle dynamic processes, adapt to changing business logic, and perform intricate tasks with minimal human oversight, claimed the company. This solution was developed in close collaboration with Americana Restaurants, the largest out-of-home dining and quick service restaurant operator across the Middle East, North Africa, and Kazakhstan, with more than 2,600 restaurants. Building on the successful deployment of Accounts Payable on Cloud solution for Americana, Infosys BPM was now integrating Agentic AI to make their invoice processing largely autonomous, further enhancing its efficiency and accuracy, it further said.
