Armed Forces, MCIT organize training course for conscripts
The Armed Forces and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) organized a training course for conscripts, who are graduates of engineering, computer science, and information technology faculties. The course is part of a protocol signed between the Armed Forces' Information Systems Department and the Information Technology Institute (ITI) to qualify conscripts for the labor market through partnerships with specialized companies in the field of information technology. The course; offered during the military service period, covers specializations of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, website development, graphic design, e-learning, software quality testing and geographic information systems. Once completing the course, the trainee will receive a certificate accredited by the Information Technology Institute, as well as a number of other international certificates that will enable him to apply for promising job opportunities in the field of information technology inside and outside Egypt. The protocol comes in light of the Armed Forces' keenness on cooperating with different ministries to qualify Egyptian young people at the scientific and technological levels to achieve sustainable development.
