Malta announces plans to set up cultural and trade centre in Nagpur

1 2 3 4 Nagpur: The Governor General of the International Organisation for Diplomatic Relations (IODR) of the Republic of Malta, Lello Marra, announced plans to set up a cultural and trade centre in Nagpur. This was disclosed during an exclusive interaction hosted by the Association for Industrial Development (AID), said a press release. The centre will promote bilateral trade, cultural, and youth exchange. Marra said, "Nagpur is not just an industrial hub, its central location makes it a vital gateway to India." He also stressed developing youth for innovation, stability, and peace. "They should be nurtured to become responsible citizens and global entrepreneurs," he said. Marra praised Vidarbha's development, noting how even tribal and remote regions are progressing steadily. While addressing Malta's own limitations of space and port capacity, Marra stressed the need for sustainable development through collective commitment, according to the press release.
