Major upset! Jannik Sinner crashes out in second round after defeat to World No. 45 Alexander Bublik
Italy's Jannik Sinner (David Inderlied/dpa via AP) Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan defeated defending champion Jannik Sinner in the second round of the Halle grass tournament. The world number one suffered a 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 loss to the 45th-ranked Bublik, marking his first defeat to a player outside the top 20 since summer 2023. Sinner had previously dominated Bublik in their French Open quarter-final matchup, losing only six games. This victory marked Bublik's second win in six encounters against Sinner, coming just ten days before Wimbledon . "We are tennis players and we try to win every match we play, but it is a special one. I had never beaten a No. 1 in the world. It is an accomplishment," Bublik said. Sinner, who had defeated Yannick Hanfmann in straight sets in the opening round, controlled the first set against Bublik without facing a break point. Despite having three break points early in the second set, Sinner couldn't capitalise. Bublik seized control, hitting 20 winners and securing a crucial break in the sixth game. The Kazakh player secured a decisive break in the third set with an impressive forehand shot. "I had an amazing forehand to break in the third set, and then I kept serving. On grass, if you lose your serve, it is maybe tough, and I am a guy who doesn't lose a lot of serves. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Memperdagangkan CFD Emas dengan salah satu spread terendah? But I had a few chances and executed them well," said Bublik. Bublik will face Tomas Machac in the quarter-finals, following the Czech's 6-2, 6-3 victory over Hungarian Fabian Marozsan. World number three Alexander Zverev overcame Italy's Lorenzo Sonego in a three-set match. The German secured a 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7/2) win against the 46th-ranked Italian. Zverev, who reached the Halle finals in 2016 and 2017, maintained his perfect record against Sonego with his fifth consecutive victory. He will next face Italian Flavio Cobolli in the quarter-finals. Sonego capitalised on his only break opportunity at 4-3 in the first set. Zverev struggled with his opponent's serve throughout the match but managed to win the second set at 5-4 before dominating the final set tiebreak. In another match, Argentina's 63rd-ranked Tomas Martin Etcheverry advanced to the quarter-finals. He defeated fourth seed Andrey Rublev 6-3, 6-7 (4/7), 7-6 (8/6) in a three-hour battle. Etcheverry saved two match points in the final set tiebreak to earn a quarter-final clash with Russia's Karen Khachanov. Game On Season 1 kicks off with Sakshi Malik's inspiring story. Watch: Iran strikes southern Israel; thick black smoke fills sky as missile hits high-rise apartment
An Iranian ballistic missile struck the southern Israeli city of Beersheba on Friday, causing extensive damage near residential areas but no reported casualties. The missile hit just outside apartment blocks, igniting several vehicles and damaging nearby homes. Firefighters were deployed to control blazes at the scene. Sirens were activated across Beersheba and surrounding towns following the launch. The Israeli military confirmed that 'sirens sounded in several areas across Israel following the identification of missiles launched from Iran toward the State of Israel,' and said interception efforts were underway. This strike comes a day after Iranian missiles hit a major hospital in southern Israel and residential buildings in Tel Aviv, wounding 240 people. Israeli defence minister Israel Katz blamed Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stating, 'the military has been instructed and knows that in order to achieve all of its goals, this man absolutely should not continue to exist.' Israel has since responded by targeting Iran's Arak heavy water reactor, part of its nuclear infrastructure. Iranian state television said the facility had been evacuated in time, and 'no radiation danger whatsoever' was reported. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Memperdagangkan CFD Emas dengan salah satu spread terendah? British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said after meeting US officials that the Middle East 'remains perilous,' and that a two-week window exists to avoid deepening conflict. Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes have reached deep into Iran, including the city of Rasht, while Iran remains under a near-total internet blackout.

The look is very bold, and it justifies the role. There's a lot of emotion that is driving the horror in the show. I saw a lot of horror movies. There's a certain way the character had to walk, talk, and do everything, so there's a lot of preparation that went behind not just the physical aspect but also the emotional. ' Later, Sheen shared her take on the storyline and said, 'There are two aspects of my role — one of a 100-year-old and another is of a girl who was a great musician. The show will portray that her love is timeless, and she is in love with her boyfriend. The character will wait for her boyfriend to be reincarnated so that she can finally reunite with him.' Sheen Das got married to Rohan Rai in 2023. For the uninformed, Rohan was previously in a relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput's late manager, Disha Salian.

Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber UNFOLLOW each other amid Justin Bieber drama
Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber have unfollowed each other on Instagram, reigniting speculation about a rift between the two women. Once seen as supportive of each other, despite years of fan-fuelled tension stemming from their shared history with Justin Bieber , the two appear to be at it again, or so it seems. The social media move was first reported by X account @BuzzingPop on Thursday, June 19, and comes amid growing rumours of trouble in Hailey and Justin's marriage. Over the past months, the couple has been hounded by divorce rumours, which Hailey has repeatedly denied. Gomez dated Justin on-and-off from 2011 to 2018. The same year they split for good, Bieber married Hailey Baldwin in a whirlwind romance that sparked widespread media attention and fan theories about a possible 'cheating' angle at play. This comes after Selena and Hailey made efforts to show mutual respect towards each other on a personal and professional front. In 2022, they posed together at a public event in a photo that quickly went viral. Selena even asked her fans to stop sending hate toward Hailey, after which, in 2023, both stars followed each other on Instagram and began subtly engaging with one another's content. In December, Hailey liked Selena's post announcing her engagement to music producer Benny Blanco. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Memperdagangkan CFD Emas dengan salah satu spread terendah? However, as it seems, tensions resurfaced in recent weeks when Hailey's beauty brand was acquired by E.l.f. Cosmetics in a $1 billion deal. Just one day after the news broke, Rare Beauty posted two images of Selena on Instagram with the caption 'Still here.' Many interpreted the post as a subtle diss aimed at Hailey's brand sale.

F‑1 Visa Interview 2025: Student denied after technical questions surprise applicant
On May 30, 2025, an act of kindness by a young student took an unexpected turn. During a routine U.S. F‑1 visa interview at the Hyderabad Consulate, a student who was waiting for his own appointment, saw an elderly struggling with the visa process. The boy, understanding their issue, stepped in to help the woman with understanding the B‑2 (tourist) visa. But the dynamics shifted, with the subsequent interview taking an unexpectedly technical turn and ultimately resulting in visa denial. The incident The student, pursuing a Master's in Data Science at Indiana University Bloomington, was there for his F‑1 interview. He then saw an older woman next to him struggling to understand the tourist visa process. As per reports, the boy helped her by explaining her travel intent and making her understand the supporting documents. Not only that, he also accompanied her during the short queue. Though he did not speak for her during questioning, his support reportedly relaxed her. The visa officer then started the F‑1 interview with the student but the dynamic shifted quickly. What began as standard procedural questions about university choices and study plans, the officer started asking him about why he chose Data Science. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like เทรดทองCFDs ด้วยค่าสเปรดที่ต่ำที่สุด IC Markets สมัคร Undo He also asked him how he intends to fund his education. He also started asking him some technical questions as well. Such is a rare concept during visa interviews focused on intent. The student was left shocked but answered the questions competently. But his visa was denied under Section 214(b) — a common statute used when consular officers deem applicants insufficiently tied to their home country or suspect intent to immigrate. The student later took to Reddit and shared his ordeal: 'I was surprised by the level of technical questions asked… I tried to stay calm and answer everything honestly' Several Reddit users started sharing their experiences. One user remarked, 'Wait whattt… why would he ask such questions.' Another told him to emphasise how his technical skills would benefit India after his studies. Well this is not the first time that such an incident is being reported. Several visa applicants across India have reported unexpected technical queries during their F‑1 interviews. The U.S. recently reinstated student visa interviews with added scrutiny—most notably requiring applicants to publicly open their social media accounts for review.
