Kevin Dundon admits 'talk' about I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here appearance
Celebrity chef Kevin Dundon has revealed there was "talk" he could go into the jungle on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here – but the star wasn't interested. The former Dancing With The Stars contestant – who reached last season's quarter finals with his pro dance partner Rebecca Scott – ruled out ever appearing on the hit ITV reality TV show. 'I don't think I would do I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here. I would hate being stuck in a box. I'm so claustrophobic. 'There was talk there a while back. Oh no, no (I wasn't offered). I didn't turn (it) down. There was just talk.' But Kevin said he surprised himself on Dancing With The Stars – and said the show let viewers see the real him away from the kitchen. 'I don't know. It's like, I never thought I'd do that. 'TV wise, I'd love to do a travel show, like a bit of craic travel show, because I think what Dancing With The Stars did was it showed a different side of me. I was a bit more craic. 'Katherine Lynch and myself did a pilot of doing the south of France with Katherine Lynch and an air fryer. It's a pilot. It's really funny, though, because you can imagine, like we're around the beach with an air fryer between us and an extension lead between us because we need the charge.' Opening up about being on the RTÉ One show, he said he didn't realise how rubbish of a dancer he was at the start of it. The 58-year-old said: 'It was like four and a half months of my life. You're just absorbed by it. So, it's like, it's now getting back to normal, getting back into my own routine again. 'We've just started our second series of Under the Grill, our podcast, which is great. 'I did really well. I got (to) the quarter final,' he said, laughing. 'I did get better every week. It wasn't my fault there were two active Olympians participating at the same time. 'The first time I saw myself dance, like on January 4, the day before the show because everyone was telling you, 'you're brilliant and you're great', and then you're in doing the recording in rehearsals and you look back, and you realise that you're sh*te. 'I kind of thought 'this could be a long journey' but I enjoyed every minute of it,' he added.

Hollyoaks legend hasn't aged a day 20 years after finding fame on the soap
HOLLYOAKS veteran Stuart Manning has barely changed since first premiering on the soap in 2004. Stuart, 45, played Russell Owen on the Channel 4 soap between 2004 and 2009 and briefly reprised his role in 2018. 5 5 5 He was all smiles in photos posted to Instagram on a night out with his family. Stuart posed for a selfie with his wife, Georgina Juma, in the photos posted to her Instagram account. "My beautiful family ," she captioned the post from December. Another photo in the post showed Georgina posing with their children. Stuart was axed from Hollyoaks for good in 2018 when his character briefly returned, only to be brutally killed in a hammer attack, after he was exposed for cheating on Mercedes by sleeping with Goldie McQueen. He's also starred in an episode of Doctors, The Dumping Ground as Matt Branston and Casualty as Clyde Jackson. The actor has also appeared on I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here and in C4's Ackley Bridge. Stuart had a recurring role early noughties soap, Night and Day, and appeared in one episode of cop drama The Bill when he was 14 years old. During his time on Hollyoaks, Stuart's dramatic storylines showed Russ marrying Mercedes McQueen (albeit briefly), battling testicular cancer and dating twin Sophie Burton. In fact, it was Russ who saved Sophie from the Dog In The Pond when it caught fire – only for her to die in his arms shortly afterwards. Stuart said at the time of his return in 2018: "After a decade away from Hollyoaks, it felt like the right time to come back and particularly when the show is on such a high. "It will be really interesting for me to explore how the character of Russ has evolved and to return as a different actor to who I was back then." In 2020, Stuart landed a role in a Hollywood production opposite culture icons Joan Collins and Jane Seymour, and Denise Richards. Stuart was set to star with them in the medieval period TV drama, Glow and Darkness, and he shared behind the scenes photos of the set to his Instagram page. The return to filming came after Stuart had revealed he was working as a delivery driver after he was axed from Hollyoaks. 5 5

Broncos respond to Sam Thaiday news after NRL great goes public with awful revelation
The Brisbane Broncos have joined fans in congratulating Sam Thaiday after the retired NRL great was crowned the winner of 'I'm a Me Out Of Here' on Sunday night. And it came after the Queensland champion revealed the heartbreaking reasons for his appearance on the reality TV show. Thaiday was named the winner ahead of Matty J and Reggie Bird on Sunday night, leaving fans delighted for the NRL great. On Monday, the Brisbane Broncos wrote on social media: "King of the Jungle. A big congrats to Sammy on being crowned the winner of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2025 and helping out a great cause." That great cause they mentioned is the 'Find Ya Feet' charity, which Thaiday won $100,000 for. Earlier in the season, the 39-year-old explained why the charity means so much to him as he laid bare some of the personal struggles he overcame as a youngster. 'My charity is called Find Ya Feet. It's run by a guy named Tommy Herschel,' Thaiday told the other celebs. 'He goes into schools and helps young boys, and he gives them a safe place to share their feelings and talk about how they're feeling. I sat in on one of his sessions and to hear how brave some of these young boys were in opening up and sharing their stories about what was going on in their lives.' Thaiday, who played 304 games for the Broncos as well as 29 State of Origin games for Queensland and 32 Test matches for Australia, made the heartbreaking admission on national TV that he contemplated suicide when he was a teenager. 'As a 13-year-old boy, I wanted to take my own life, and I wish I had someone like Tommy around to let me know that it was okay to talk about my feelings," he said. "As a young kid, I really struggled to find my place. I found myself too white to be black and too black to be white, and didn't know where I fit in. And if I had someone like Tommy Herschel in my life as a young kid, maybe I would have shared a lot of these stories a lot earlier in my life. 'He's a bit of a one-man band at the moment, and I just thought he needed help. So that's why I'm in here. And hopefully even, like, I don't even have to win it, I just want to raise some awareness for him, I want people talking about it.' Learn more about our celeb's chosen charities here: | Watch on @Channel10AU and 10 Play — #ImACelebrityAU (@ImACelebrityAU) January 28, 2025 It wasn't the first time Thaiday spoke publicly about his mental health demons, after opening up in an interview back in 2020. But it brought it to the attention of a national audience on TV for the first time, and gave 'Find Ya Feet' some much-needed exposure. 'I had bottled up my feelings for so long not knowing how to express them," he told the in 2020. "I told her (the therapist) my story and I left that session somewhat motivated to tell people my story. Hopefully by getting my story out I can encourage people to speak up. 'I still have moments now where I second guess myself. Self doubt is the loudest voice in your head. That kind of was an ongoing thing throughout my whole life. I want to learn and grow and get better to make that the quietest voice in side my head. I see myself right now as being a little bit lost and lonely at times."
