Poco F7 specs leak along with plenty of images: 6.83" display, 50+8MP cameras
The Poco F7 should be announced in the next couple of weeks and while we've had some leaks and some official teasers so far, this is the mother lode. Poco F7 in White and Silver The vanilla F7 will be larger than the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra with a 6.83' OLED display compared to their 6.67' panels, though with a lower resolution of 1,280 x 2,772px compared to their 1440p+. This display will still have top-notch color rendering with 12-bits, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. It will peak at 3,200 nits and dial that down with 3,840Hz PWM dimming. It's not just the display, the Poco F7 will be physically larger than the Pro and Ultra at 163.1 x 77.9 x 8.2mm and 215.7g, compared to 160.3 x 75.0mm and 8.1mm/206g for the Pro and 8.4mm/212g for the Ultra. Poco F7 in White This comes with a larger battery, Poco and Flipkart officially revealed that the F7 will have 7,550mAh capacity with fast 90W charging and even fast reverse charging at 22.5W (usually reverse charging is in the 5W-10W range). The F7 battery dwarfs the batteries of the Ultra (5,300mAh) and even the Pro (6,000mAh). Note that in some regions the F7 might have a lower capacity of 6,500mAh (that's still bigger than the other two). The Poco F7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 as we saw in a Geekbench result. The chip will be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The phone will run HyperOS 2/Android 15 out of the box and will be chock full of AI features. Poco F7 in Silver The camera system is centered around the 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor on the back, which is behind a wide-open f/1.5 lens with OIS. It is joined by an 8MP camera (most likely an ultra-wide) and a 20MP selfie camera. The F7 will have stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos plus Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certifications. Other connectivity options include 5G, 4G on Band 20 (800MHz), Wi-Fi 7, NFC and an IR blaster. The phone is rated IP68. Poco F7 side views Poco hasn't set an official reveal date yet, but the indications so far are that the Poco F7 will be unveiled by the end of the month. Redmi K80 Ultra stops by Geekbench, confirms its chipset, memory, and Android version
A few hours ago, Redmi ramped up its teaser campaign for the upcoming K80 Ultra, which is the brand's flagship smartphone. Now, the device has been spotted in the Geekbench database, where a prototype managed a single-core score of 2,679 and a multi-core score of 8,358. As always with benchmark results of pre-release devices, don't read too much into these numbers. The listing has confirmed the fact that the Redmi K80 Ultra is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9400+ SoC, and in the specific unit that ran the benchmark it was paired with 16GB of RAM, which we assume will be the top level, with 12GB possibly offered as well. The phone will launch running Android 15 with Xiaomi's HyperOS on top, and those are all the details that the benchmark run has uncovered. According to a certification from May, the handset will have a battery with a rated capacity of 7,270 mAh, which will translate into 7,400 mAh or 7,500 mAh typical advertised capacity. It is also expected to sport a 6.83-inch "1.5K" flat OLED screen, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, a triple rear camera setup with a 50 MP main, support for 100W wired charging, as well as IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro review
Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro was launched globally a couple of months ago and it has quickly become a go-to tablet for its flagship specs and plenty of optional accessories. The best part, you will spend half of what you would pay Apple for the same class of a slate. The Pad 7 Pro is technically a sequel to the Pad 6 Pro, though the latter was not launched globally. Instead, we got the Pad 6S Pro, a slightly upgraded version of the 6 Pro with a larger screen, more speakers, and faster processor. The Pad 7 Pro has a large 11.2-inch IPS LCD screen with a higher resolution - 3,200 x 2,136 pixels, 12-bit color depth, 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10 and Dolby Vision streaming support. Xiaomi Focus Pen is also supported - that is the latest generation of the proprietary stylus. The Pad 7 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC with 12GB RAM. It is a flagship piece of hardware even if not the most powerful one. The cameras are the same as on the Pad 6S Pro - a 32MP front camera, and a 50MP rear one accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro has four speakers that support Dolby Atmos. It is powered by an 8,850mAh battery with support for up to 67W fast charging. The tablet boots Android 15 OS with HyperOS 2 and offers a desktop-like interface for those needing it. Misc: Fingerprint reader (side-mounted); stereo speakers (4 speakers). The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro seems to have it all for a €400 tablet, so as far as a quick specs scroll goes, we have no complaints. We wish Xiaomi had considered a cellular-enabled version, though. Unboxing the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro The tablet ships in a thin white box that contains the Pad 7 Pro and a USB-A-to-C cable. There is no charger in the box, no stylus, no cover or keyboard. Xiaomi sells these separately but we have them so we tell you more about them too. Page 2

Xiaomi to follow Apple's footsteps, change the name of its upcoming HyperOS 3
Back in late May, Mark Gurman reported that Apple might change the naming scheme of its operating systems. Instead of iOS 19, for example, the company will launch iOS 26, along with macOS 26, iPadOS 26, etc. The goal is to match the calendar year, avoid confusion, and make it easier to market. Reportedly, Xiaomi wants to do the same with its upcoming HyperOS based on Android 16, so instead of HyperOS 3 this year, we might get HyperOS 26. The system should arrive around October or November, and as we get closer to launch, we will probably know for sure. While this naming scheme is good for the user as it's easier to track the release timeline, it creates issues for the company. For instance, by naming its OS after the calendar year, Xiaomi would have to keep a strict release schedule and not fall behind. Source
