LeBron James on whether he will play in 2028 Summer Olympics
LeBron James on whether he will play in 2028 Summer Olympics During the first decade of his NBA career, LeBron James became a regular member of Team USA men's basketball. He represented the United States in the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics, and he also participated in the 2006 FIBA World Championship (now known as the FIBA World Cup). He won the gold in 2008 and 2012, although Team USA only came away with a bronze medal in 2004, something James is criticized for to this day. After the United States failed to medal in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, James, along with Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and other veteran NBA superstars, quickly volunteered to compete in the 2024 Olympics. Thanks to their help, Team USA regained the gold. There are some who have been wondering if James, who is 40 years of age, may wear the red, white and blue once again in 2028 when the Summer Olympics take place in Los Angeles. But he told Hollywood Reporter that it probably won't happen. 'Nothing has changed. Where we at, man, 2025 right now? (Laughs) Nah, nothing has changed. I mean, if I had to look at it right now through a microscope, I would say that, me being able to support Team USA for the rest of my life — that's for sure. But me actually going on and playing, I don't see it happening. 'I've given everything that I have, and I will always be appreciative and loyal and dedicated to Team USA and USA Basketball.' In all, James has won three Olympic gold medals. The record for men's basketball is held by Durant, who also took part in the 2016 Summer Games, as well as the subsequent Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

Diego Luna says Hollywood only offered drug dealer roles before ‘Star Wars'
Diego Luna revealed his personal experiences with Latinx typecasting in Hollywood prior to taking on the Empire in 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.' During an installment of the Hollywood Reporter's roundtable interview series, 'Off Script,' the Mexican star of the Emmy-nominated series 'Andor' revealed he was only offered drug dealer roles before he hyper-sped his way into a galaxy far, far away. 'Before 'Star Wars,' the only projects I'd get offered would be [about] drug dealers,' Luna said during the discussion, which included fellow drama actors Walton Goggins and Adam Scott. 'I could be the nice drug dealer and not the vicious one, but still a drug dealer.' The Golden Globe-nominated actor has been acting since he was a child in his native country of Mexico. He starred in various telenovelas during the 1990s before making his cinematic breakthrough in 2001 with Alfonso Cuarón's Oscar-nominated film, 'Y Tu Mamá También.' Luna would later appear in English-language films, such as Steven Spielberg's 2004 movie 'The Terminal' with Tom Hanks, as well as 'Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights,' in which Luna played the main love interest. He eventually starred in Netflix's cartel TV series, 'Narcos: Mexico,' as Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo, a founder of the Guadalajara Cartel. Luna added that Hollywood productions were not 'sending messages' that he could be himself in projects where he could see himself reflected in the roles. 'I remember being asked, 'Are you going to clean up your accent?' That's not part of the conversation anymore,' he said. 'But when I was 20, it was like, 'Man, you're great, and if you work with your accent, you'll be doing what this person or that person is doing.' And you go, 'Why would I like to do that? This is what makes me unique.'' Luna's presence in American productions has arguably helped increase the small percentage of Latinx representation in Hollywood; according to a 2023 report from the USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative, Latinx people represent 19% of the U.S. population, but they only account for 4.4% of actors in lead or co-lead roles. And when they do appear on screen, the study revealed, they tend to depict people who are immigrants and living in poverty, as well as characters that skew violent, angry and criminal. In February, Netflix committed $1 billion in Mexico productions of series and films, in hopes of creating opportunities for Latinx people nationwide, according to the Hollywood Reporter. 'This investment, and the productions derived therefrom, will benefit Mexican production companies and will contribute to the growth of the local audiovisual industry,' said Ted Sarandos, co-CEO of Netflix, during the press conference announcing the investment.

The British actor, 37, leads the cast of Jurassic World Rebirth alongside Scarlett Johansson, 40. And there's endless brilliant people who have come before you who have changed the way that people see sexuality."

Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 35, and wife Sam, 58, loved up at 28 Years Later premiere
Aaron Taylor-Johnson took to the red carpet at London's London's Odeon Luxe Leicester Square this evening for the world premiere of 28 Years Later alongside his director wife Sam Taylor-Johnson. The 35-year-old Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging star – who is hotly tipped to be the next James Bond – opted for a low-neck shirt and pin-striped waistcoat for the occasion, while Back to Black director Sam, 58, looked glorious in a simple white dress and oversized sunglasses. Danny Boyle's much-anticipated movie, which is a sequel to the classic 2002 film 28 Days Later, stars Aaron alongside Jodie Comer and Ralph Fiennes, who all play survivors of the rage virus. The film, largely shot in Northumberland, is set 30 years after the original and shows how humanity has adapted to survive. Posing for photos together on the red carpet, leading man Aaron and Sam looked as loved up as ever 15 years into their relationship. The pair met on the set of Nowhere Boy when Aaron was 18 and Sam was 42, and at the October 2009 premiere, the unlikely couple announced their engagement. Over the years, Sam and Aaron have defended their 24-year age gap. 'He was very intense and absolutely mind made-up (about us dating)' Sam reportedly told E News previously, while he said to The Sunday Independent: 'I'm an old soul and she's a young soul.' In 2017, Sam told the Hollywood Reporter: 'If I gave a second thought to other people, I would be the unhappiest person, probably still in a miserable marriage. People like to talk about it. 'I'm like, 'Yeah, but it works better than my last marriage'. It's lasted longer than a lot of my friends' marriages.' Aaron told The Telegraph in 2019 he 'knew instantly' she was his 'soulmate'. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video He added: 'All that is my personal life, it's sacred to me and it's beautiful. But there is a lot of negativity around from other people. 'That's their problem and their issues and however they perceive life. I live my life to its fullest and I operate from my instincts and from my heart and I try to be as open as possible.' Elsewhere at the premiere Killing Eve star Jodie, 32, looked incredible in a silver floor-length gown, with moody dark eyeliner and her hair down. Danny Boyle, who has reunited with writer Alex Garland for the sequel, also appeared at the premiere wearing his trademark glasses and a navy suit. While fans of the franchise were fed 28 Weeks Later in 2007, it was without the franchise's original creative team. 28 Years Later marks the start of a trilogy, with its successor 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple set for release in January 2026. This comes as leading man Aaron is a favourite to be the next James Bond alongside other actors including Irish newcomer Paddy Gibson, Slow Horses star Jack Lowden, and Happy Valley's James Norton. 28 Years Later is out on June 20. ‘Incredibles 3' is in the works, and Pixar has hired a director
Peter Sohn, a longtime Disney Pixar creative whose comedy 'Elemental' helped jump-start the Emeryville-based animation company's revival in 2023, has been tapped to direct 'Incredibles 3,' which continues the story of the superhero Parr family. Brad Bird, who directed the first two 'Incredibles' movies, is writing the screenplay and will co-produce, according to a report in the Hollywood Reporter. Sohn has worked with Bird since the late 1990s, when he worked on the animation for Bird's first feature, ' The Iron Giant ' (1999), for Warner Bros. Both moved to Pixar in 2000. While Bird established an illustrious directing career with 'The Incredibles' (2004), ' Ratatouille ' (2007) and ' Incredibles 2 ' (2018) — with the live-action ' Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol ' (2011) and ' Tomorrowland ' (2015) in between — Sohn has worked as an animator, storyboard artist and voice actor for several Pixar films. Sohn's first film as director was ' The Good Dinosaur ' (2015), which was generally well received by critics but became Pixar's first box-office failure. He got another chance as director with ' Elemental,' a personal story inspired by his youth as the son of immigrants in New York during the 1970s and '80s. The unlikely love story of water and fire at first seemed like another box-office bomb after Pixar's first theatrically released film post-pandemic, ' Lightyear,' tanked in the summer of 2022. But 'Elemental' became a sleeper hit, picking up steam after its June 2023 release. By mid-August, it had become a certifiable smash, pulling in nearly half a billion dollars at the global box office and was nominated for an Oscar for best animation feature. The first two 'Incredibles' movies have taken in nearly $1.9 billion combined at the global box office. Voice cast members returning for 'Incredibles 3' include Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Samuel L. Jackson and Sarah Vowell. No release date has been set. Pixar's next film, ' Elio,' directed by Madeline Sharafian and Domee Shi, is set for release on June 20.
