Egypt's Mufti Participates in International Conference on Civilizational Coexistence

Dr. Nazir Mohamed Ayyad, Grand Mufti of Egypt and President of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, arrived in Algiers on Friday to take part in an international conference hosted by the High Islamic Council.
The conference, titled 'Human Acquaintance and its Role in Establishing Coexistence: Toward a Civilizations Acquaintance,' will be held from June 21 to 23, 2025.
The event brings together religious and intellectual leaders to explore ways of fostering mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence among civilizations.
Dr. Ayyad's participation underscores Egypt's continued commitment to promoting interfaith dialogue and global cooperation in addressing cultural and ethical challenges.
