HRH Prince Salman hails Team Bahrain for providing best services to Bahraini pilgrims
TDT | Manama Email : editor@ His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, commended Team Bahrain's unified efforts in providing the best services for the Bahraini pilgrims, and congratulated the pilgrims on their safe return. HRH Prince Salman was speaking as he met yesterday with His Excellency Shaikh Adnan bin Abdulla Al Qattan, Undersecretary of the Court of Cassation and Chairman of the Bahrain Pilgrimage Mission, along with members of the High Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, at Riffa Palace. His Royal Highness emphasised that the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa facilitate the pilgrims' affairs, ensuring that their pilgrimage is conducted safely and peacefully. Commitment In this regard, he commended HM the King's commitment to supporting Bahraini pilgrims. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's dedication, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in serving Hajj pilgrims and ensuring their pilgrimage is conducted safely and peacefully. His Royal Highness highlighted that overseeing the Hajj pilgrimage is a great honour undertaken by Saudi Arabia, noting the country's remarkable capabilities in successfully hosting the annual pilgrimage. He also commended the Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, the Bahrain Pilgrimage Mission, and other related government entities, for their efforts that have contributed to successfully assisting the pilgrimage. Shaikh Adnan expressed his gratitude for HM the King's commitment to enhancing the pilgrims' experience, ensuring their pilgrimage is completed safely and peacefully, as well as His Majesty's support to the Bahrain Pilgrimage Mission. The Undersecretary also expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness's unwavering support for Bahraini pilgrims and ensuring the facilitation of their pilgrimage. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HE Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf and Chairman of the High Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, and a number of senior officials, also attended the meeting.

Bahrain Lauds Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Exemplary Hajj Management
Speaker of the Council of Representatives, H.E. Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, has lauded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its unwavering commitment and outstanding efforts in ensuring the success of this year's Hajj season. He praised the Kingdom's continued advancements in infrastructure, services, and seamless facilitation that have allowed pilgrims to perform their sacred rites with ease, safety, and peace of mind. Al-Musallam emphasized that Saudi Arabia's comprehensive approach—driven by innovation and strategic planning—has made it a global benchmark in pilgrimage management. He commended the high-level royal directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the dedicated oversight of Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, in enhancing the Hajj experience for millions of pilgrims through integrated services and visionary development programs. On this occasion, the Speaker extended his profound appreciation and heartfelt thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their continued support and directives in facilitating Hajj arrangements for Bahraini pilgrims. He also expressed his gratitude to Bahrain's High Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, the Bahraini Hajj mission, and all local pilgrimage campaigns for their cooperation, commitment, and responsible conduct throughout the season. In a congratulatory note, Al-Musallam conveyed his warm regards to H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Speaker of Saudi Arabia's Shura Council, on the success of this year's pilgrimage. He prayed for the continued security, prosperity, and stability of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under its wise leadership.

Justice Ministry urges pilgrims to obtain official permits
The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments emphasised the importance of complying with the laws and regulations issued by the High Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ministry underlined that travel to perform Hajj requires an official permit issued by the relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia. It warned that failure to obtain such a permit may result in strict penalties. The ministry also urged citizens not to respond to misleading advertisements or unlicensed campaigns that falsely claim to offer permits, reiterating that Hajj travel must only be arranged through approved official channels. It confirmed that only pilgrims registered with licensed Bahraini Hajj campaigns who have completed registration procedures and received official permits are authorised to travel for Hajj.
