While Helen gears up for new explorations, whispers of her growing closeness with another colleague have surfaced. Rumours are swirling that she's been seen out with Gethin Jones, her co-host from Morning Live, though their relationship status remains unconfirmed. The rumour mill went into overdrive last month when the pair were seen looking rather cosy at the TV Baftas. Adding fuel to the fire, eagle-eyed followers spotted what appeared to be "flirty" exchanges between them on social media. Insiders have suggested that the two were "all over each other" during a recent visit to a country club and spa in Manchester, catching onlookers off guard with their affectionate display. A source told The Sun: "Gethin and Helen were all over each other. They are clearly super comfortable with each other and it wasn't just like two friends hanging out. "Helen was really laughing and smiling as they spent time together before heading off in the late afternoon." Last month whispers started to spread alleging that Helen and Gethin's professional partnership might have turned romantic. "Helen and Gethin have an extremely close working relationship and there's a feeling in recent months their friendship has blossomed into a deeper connection," an insider divulged to MailOnline. However, it's believed both Helen and Gethin are currently unattached. While Gethin hasn't shied away from the dating scene since his break up with Katherine Jenkins in 2011, Helen went her separate ways from former husband Richie Myler in 2022.

"The older you get, the more you realise every year is a total privilege," she says. Ahead of entering her 42nd year, Helen reflects on her greatest personal learning. "You've just got to sit in the moment that you're in," she said. "That's the good thing about being a countryside person and being a sports person. It's the ultimate lesson in that nothing stays the same. "When you're in a good time, just really lean into it and make the most of it – if your relationship is good or your kids are good, just rinse every second of it but equally, the bad times don't last either. Tough times don't stay tough forever. Accepting that everything changes is really quite liberating. "I've got a series with my good friend Dan Walker, who I adore, and we walk about Yorkshire, we belly laugh. "I've just finished filming a series with my friend JB Gill and my other friend Jules Hudson, so that's a bit like Blue Peter for adults. I do all kinds of mad things."
