The Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr was recently spotted undergoing tests in India, suggesting a potential launch within this year. Brixton Motorcycles made its entry into the Indian market last year in collaboration with KAW Veloce Motors. The company currently offers the Crossfire 500X and 500XC, in addition to the Cromwell 1200 and 1200X. This is the same powertrain that's available on the Lexus LX700h SUV. Power is sent to all four wheels via the 10-speed automatic transmission on the hybrid model. In contrast, the Land Cruiser 300 diesel draws power from a 3.3-litre turbocharged V6 engine tuned for 304 bhp and 700 Nm of peak torque. Jon Waring, 57, has already handed in his notice as a police radio operator and nurse wife Lucy, 48, is also quitting. 2 The couple, who have a 15-year-old daughter, are set to splash the cash with a Harley trike topping Jon's shopping list, while a hot tub is Lucy's No1 priority. They also aim to buy a new family home in the area and create a music room in the house. Jon said: "This will be the perfect place to display the family's guitar collection - and potentially add to it too. "As a family, we love rock music and now the world really is our oyster - we hope to get the chance to attend gigs up and down the country. " This win will just enable us all to slow down, enjoy life - and of course hit that road on the sunny days ahead on our new trike." Harley-Davidson's 2025 strategy appears to balance heritage and innovation, all set to redefine its footprint in India's premium motorcycle space. Touring range updated, CVO models coming soon The 2025 line-up includes two new additions under Harley-Davidson's Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) segment, the CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide. These touring motorcycles are limited-production models and come with revised design elements and updated technology. Both bikes aim to offer improved performance and touring comfort. Pricing for the CVO models will be announced closer to launch. Trevor Robinson, 71, said he would "pay any money" to get the colourful "monstrosity" back. Trevor said: "I saw them taking it away [from the leisure park] and said, 'no I will have it.' "They thought I was joking." Ellie was then delivered to Trevor's house in the suburb of Twydall, Kent for free. But last Thursday, one of the sub-contractors returned to say the council was ordering him to take the slide away due to neighbour complaints. Medway Council also labelled it an "unsafe structure", and revealed intentions to dispose of it. Trevor, who also owns two Jaguars and a Harley Davidson at his home, thinks that "jealousy" and a dislike for the Union Jack flag that is painted on the side of Ellie is what caused neighbours to complain. "People loved it. I wanted to let kids and their parents come round and use it and give the money to charity." He added: "There are a few neighbours who don't like me, but all their kids were waiting to have a go on it." The homeowner planned to install a pond in his back garden to go along with the slide, as well as his collection of garden ornaments. All the kids loved it. If they haven't broken it up then I will pay to get it back. I miss it, it has been a part of my life for so long. "Everyone is really upset that it is gone. I want to get it back, I don't care what it costs. I will pay any money - I just want her back," he continued. Self-proclaimed "eccentric character" Trevor says he would even give away one of his Jaguar cars to have Ellie returned to him. A Medway Council spokesperson said: "During our annual health and safety audit of The Strand, the slide, which is now more than 30 years old, was not deemed to be safe so we took the decision to remove it. "Medway Norse arranged for a sub-contractor to remove the structure. Once we became aware that a resident had the slide following complaints, we arranged for it to be picked up so it can be safely disposed of as it is an unsafe structure."
