While the film was previously scheduled to release in June 2025, the makers appear to have now settled on a new release date altogether. It is believed that the new release date was finalized after a meeting between the producers and Prime Video, the OTT partner of the movie. Accordingly, the OTT giant pressured the makers to release the film within the tentative deadline, and an ultimatum was served, as the former had already been quite flexible in postponing the release twice earlier. Hari Hara Veera Mallu's previous postponements For the record, the upcoming Telugu film has faced two postponements: first on May 9 and then on June 12. However, on both occasions, things did not go as planned, prompting the makers to narrow down on a new release date soon. Dil Raju denounces industry practice of buying YouTube views for trailers, songs: ‘Don't want to fake numbers anymore'
Producer Dil Raju attended the trailer launch of his upcoming film Thammudu, starring Nithiin. He opened up about the industry practice of buying YouTube views for trailers and songs, announcing that he's denouncing it. Here's what he said. (Also Read: Allu Aravind backs Pawan Kalyan and questions theatre bandh during HHVM release; Dil Raju claims 'miscommunication') Raju stated at the event that he has directed his PR team not to buy any views on YouTube for Thammudu's trailer or songs. He said, 'I've been meaning to talk about this for a while now, and I must address it today. Whatever views you see on YouTube for this film are original. I've told my PR team and everyone working for me that the numbers must reflect real views. I do not want to fake numbers anymore.' He stated that he's adapting this practice so he knows beforehand, as a producer, how much the audience is really interested in his films. 'I want to know how many views my songs or trailers bring in so I'm prepared for how much reach it'll have upon release. When we're buying views, there's a large number for us to show, but we don't really know if it's reaching the intended audience. Even if it's difficult, I've decided to take the first step in doing this,' explained Raju. When everyone looked shocked at the tangent his speech took, Raju claimed that he wasn't stating anything 'controversial', reasoning that it's the only way producers can 'correct' themselves. 'I am not saying anything controversial. I believe we (producers) will know how to correct ourselves only when we see genuine numbers. If the film is worth it, people will watch it anyway. Look at how Sankranthiki Vasthunam became an all-time record. Court also became a super hit. 2025 has proved that all we need is good content.' In January this year, Raju was called out by the press for releasing a poster for the Ram Charan-starrer Game Changer, claiming it earned over ₹186 crore worldwide on its opening day, when in reality it earned that amount in its lifetime. He defensively said, 'I've already said we (producers) have weaknesses we can't discuss. I admit that, no. Don't you know how much the film has already collected? So you calculate and put out posters for films now.'

Ustaad Bhagat Singh: Pawan Kalyan to restart shoot with Sreeleela after HHVM's postponement?
Pawan Kalyan starrer Ustaad Bhagat Singh was in production limbo earlier, but now, things are all set to change. In a recent update on social media, the makers have unveiled a glimpse of the power star returning to the sets. The short promo showed him donning a black-colored outfit as he channeled himself as Bhagat Singh under Harish Shankar's direction. As the actor-politician arrived on the sets, leading lady Sreeleela was also spotted. Pawan Kalyan returns to Ustaad Bhagat Singh sets In an early report shared by Pinkvilla, we had exclusively reported how the movie is looking to restart shooting in June. Sources close to development made it clear that the work would go on for a month and the film will be released in 2026. The much-awaited venture is based on the Tamil-language blockbuster Theri starring Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role. With Harish Shankar helming the project, the film is expected to have changed from the source material. The original film, directed by Atlee, featured the story of a former IPS officer, now living under a new name being hunted by his past. Interestingly, the Vijay starrer had recently been adapted in Hindi as well as Baby John with Varun Dhawan. On the work front, Pawan Kalyan will also be seen in Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and AM Jyothi Krishna, the film tells the story of the legendary outlaw Veera Mallu, who takes on the Mughal Empire in the 17th century. The movie was initially slated to release on June 12, 2025, but was later postponed once again due to pending work and will likely arrive on big screens in July. Apart from HHVM and Ustaad Bhagat Singh, Pawan Kalyan will also be seen in They Call Him OG, a gangster action drama directed by Saaho fame Sujeeth. All eyes are on Pawan Kalyan's next big film, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which has been witnessing consecutive delays over its theatrical release. While the makers had finally settled on June 12, 2025, for making its way on big screens, it seems another delay is imminent. According to strong reports, it is believed that the action film will likely be released sometime during July. Amid all the buzz, the film is now facing certain conditions levied by the OTT platform. Prime Video enforces condition for timely release of HHVM As per a Telugu Cinema report, Prime Video has now set a new condition on the makers of Hari Hara Veera Mallu after bagging the post-theatrical OTT deal with them. Accordingly, they have now set a new condition for the producer of the Pawan Kalyan starrer, forcing them to release the film by the end of July, as per their agreement. If not adhered to, it would directly risk the deal signed between the makers and the OTT platform, or worse, a deduction may be expected from the same. This has served as an ultimatum, as Prime Video has already been quite flexible in rescheduling the release date for this film twice before, initially for May 9 and then for June 12. As a result, the producer will be announcing a new release date soon. Prime Video dictated similar conditions for Sekhar Kammula's Kuberaa The news about Prime Video enforcing strict timelines for the scheduled release of a film comes twice in a row after something similar was advised for another Telugu movie in the pipeline, Kuberaa. The producer of the Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna starrer recently revealed that the streaming platform has threatened to deduct Rs. 10 crores from the previously signed deal with them. Hari Hara Veera Mallu is touted to be a two-parter saga directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. Besides Pawan Kalyan in the lead, the film also stars Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi, Satyaraj, and others.
