Nicole Scherzinger hails Thom Evans as 'the best'
Thom Evans has been "a rock" for Nicole Scherzinger. The 40-year-old former sports star was by Nicole's side throughout her run in Sunset Blvd, the hit musical, in London and New York, and Nicole has revealed that she really appreciates having his support. Nicole, 46 - who plays Norma Desmond in the musical - told People: "It's really important to have a partner who supports you and believes in you, like I said in my [Tony Awards acceptance] speech, when you sometimes forget to believe in yourself. "And he's been such a constant and a rock for me during this time, and he just really, he really gets me, my fiance. He's gotten me from day one." Nicole feels that Thom really "understands" how she approaches her work. The actress - who has been engaged to Thom since 2023 - shared: "I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I'm an extremely hard worker. Nothing's ever enough. And he understands that about me, and he supports me in every way that I need to be supported. And he just gets me." Nicole loves that Thom is so respectful and understanding of her needs. The former Pussycat Dolls star said: "He's just the best. "He'll go. He'll be like, 'I'm going to go to London, give you your space', but then he came back right in time to just be there for me and to hold my hand. He's the best." Despite this, Nicole recently revealed that she's currently too busy to get married. Asked about her wedding plans, she told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "Oh, there's no wedding planning, honey. When you do Broadway, it's only Broadway. You eat, sleep – you don't sleep much – and breathe Broadway. "Thank God I have a very understanding and wonderful and the most supportive fiance." What's more, Nicole will be looking for another stage show after she leaves Sunset Blvd. She said: "I still want to do more. This moment has made me dream again. "Growing up as a Filipino girl, I always loved Miss Saigon. I would love to be a part of that show. Aurora in Kiss of the Spider Woman is another dream role. Another is to maybe create my own musical."

Have you say on Harry and Meghan being stripped of their Sussex titles
As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle face renewed calls to have their royal titles stripped after allegedly showing 'no interest in Sussex' - we want to hear your thoughts on the topic A former Sussex MP has called for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to have their titles stripped following their silence on Sussex Day - and we want to hear your thoughts. The occasion, which takes place on June 16 every year, celebrates the county's heritage and culture, with towns across Sussex hosting music, dancing, and market stalls. However, furious local residents have slammed the Duke and Duchess for failing to acknowledge Sussex Day both this week, and in previous years. It comes after the pair are reported to have visited Sussex just once since receiving their titles in 2018 - a trip that lasted only six hours. Now, Sussex MP Tim Loughton has backed calls for the former royals to be stripped of their titles, as he told MailOnline: "Yet again the interest of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the county from which they continue to use their title has been underwhelming to say the least. It is time we had a Duke of Sussex who has a genuine interest in our County, and wishing Sussex residents a happy Sussex Day is hardly a tall order.' He added: "They rarely visited Sussex even before they abandoned the UK for California and on our County Day they have again shown no interest in Sussex". The couple were granted the title of Duke and Duchess of Sussex by the late Queen Elizabeth following their 2018 wedding, with Meghan becoming the first Duchess of Sussex in history, and Harry being the second person to ever hold the title of Duke of Sussex. The couple retained their titles when they stepped down as senior royals in January 2020, despite losing their HRH styles. According to insiders, Prince William has completely cut off contact with Harry and Meghan after what he sees as repeated public attacks on the Firm. One source told HELLO!: "There is zero trust." It has been reported that the family believes "private conversations with Harry are not possible." While Harry told the BBC himself that "some members of my family will never forgive me" for what he wrote. In May, we asked Mirror readers if Prince William would strip Harry and Meghan's titles when he becomes King and a whopping 9,806 said yes, they could see that happening, while just 1,203 thought William would never do such a thing. Several readers felt that Harry's actions - including his departure from royal life and inflammatory public statements - have made him unworthy of retaining his royal title. While some believe the future monarch may hesitate or lack the resolve to make such a move. As the California couple fail to acknowledge Sussex Day for another year, we want to know if you think Harry and Meghan should be stripped of their titles. Vote in our poll HERE to have your say.

Kate Middleton's two breakfast 'everyday' staples and 'heavy dinner'
The Princess of Wales is known to be a fan of healthy eating but still enjoys carbing up to the max in the evening The Princess of Wales is renowned for her enthusiastic participation in a wide array of activities during her Royal engagements. Kate is often seen diving into action, whether it's running races, getting her hands dirty with gardening, playing hockey, or even trying her hand at taekwondo when she visits events involving children or sports. She also never fails to impress with her sartorial choices – at the Trooping the Colour, Kate turned heads in an aquamarine Catherine Walker dress coat with striking ivory contrast lapels and cuffs. Complementing her outfit was a matching wide-brimmed hat by Juliette Botterill, worn as she shared a carriage ride with her daughter, Princess Charlotte. Her accessories included Queen Elizabeth's Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings, which are a favourite of Kate's, having been worn at the Qatar State Visit and on Remembrance Sunday. She also sported the Irish Guards Regimental Brooch on her jacket. Being so active and always looking impeccable means that Kate follows a diet that provides plenty of energy. She is a known advocate of the Mediterranean diet, which focuses on plant-based foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and legumes, along with moderate amounts of lean protein from fish and poultry, low-fat dairy products, and healthy fats like olive oil. This diet minimises red meat and sweet treats. In addition to her healthy eating habits, Kate is said to "love" preparing carb-heavy roast chicken for family meals and has a penchant for spicy vegetable curries. Kate is an enthusiast of high-impact weight training workouts and dedicates herself daily to fitness without the aid of a personal trainer, ensuring she gets ample protein for maximum benefits. Nikkita Hope-Brown, a certified PT and proprietor of Found, a women-focused strength training studio in London, underscored the importance of protein to HELLO! magazine: "You cannot build muscle without the building blocks, which is protein." Protein is likened to the essential bricks for constructing muscle, as explained by Nikkita, who offered an analogy: "To give a metaphor, proteins are the bricks that makeup the wall, and strength training is the actual bricklaying. You cannot build a house without the actual bricks or someone doing the work of laying the bricks - you need to have both. How much protein we need depends on our goals and body, for muscle growth, typically 1.5 - 2g of protein for every kilogram we weigh." Echoing a similar sentiment, Kate Rowe-Ham, a fitness coach and founder of Owning Your Menopause, shared this wisdom: "You can't out-train a poor diet. Muscles are built in the gym but need to recover and transform in the kitchen. To support muscle growth and recovery, it is essential to consume a high-protein diet, especially after a workout." Kate advocated for a rounded approach to nutrition: "Include whole foods rich in fibre, healthy fats, and complex carbs to fuel your workouts and stabilise hormones." The Royal is reportedly a fan of starting her day with a green smoothie, much like her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle. Her blend includes spinach, kale, blueberries and matcha. She's also known to kick off her mornings with a bowl of slow-burning energy oats, or rolled oats, which she often pairs with milk or yoghurt and tops with fruits, nuts, cinnamon, and nut butter. Her lunch typically features salads and fruit bowls, with an emphasis on foods that enhance skin health, such as watermelon salads and gazpacho. For an afternoon pick-me-up, she enjoys berries blended with almond milk and generally prefers lighter meals during the day. According to the Daily Mail, Kate also leans towards raw dishes like watermelon salads, gazpacho, goji berries, tabbouleh and ceviche for their skincare benefits. However, she doesn't shy away from heartier, traditional English dinners like big roasts and curries. Kate's daily food diary. Breakfast: A green smoothie is a staple, blending kale, spinach, spirulina, matcha, romaine lettuce, coriander, and blueberries. Alternatively, a bowl of slow-burn energy oats. Lunch: Salads and fruit bowls are favourites, with a special focus on skin-boosting foods like watermelon salads, gazpacho, and tabbouleh. She also enjoys ceviche. Dinner: While she favours lighter meals during the day, Kate relishes traditional English meals or carb-rich options for tea like roast dinners and curries. Snacks: Olives and popcorn are said to be her go-to snacks. Beverages: The Duchess is fond of smoothies and is also known to enjoy ginger tea. While Middleton hasn't confessed to any specific eating habits, sources report that she avoids: Dairy Seafood when travelling (as per royal protocol)

Naga Munchetty's row with 'devastated' mum over 'wicked' decision
BBC Breakfast star Naga Munchetty has opened up on a huge decision she made with her husband which has impacted her mum Naga Munchetty has confessed that her decision not to have children with husband James Haggar caused a "rift" with her mum before the duo eventually managed to smooth things over. The 50-year-old BBC host spoke to Ateh Jewel on HELLO!' s Second Act podcast about how her mother was originally "devastated" that Naga would not be giving her any grandchildren. However, Naga has said that her mum "gets it now" after seeing her daughter "thrive" in her television career and living a good life with her other half. She recalled: 'My mum was devastated; she was from a different generation. "(But she) gets it now. She is so proud of me and so happy to see me happy and thriving. It was a conscious (decision) and I am doing lots of other things and living a very fulfilling life. She doesn't think I've wasted an opportunity. My mum has evolved in that sense.' Naga and her husband James tied the knot in 2007 after dating for several years. He also enjoys a successful broadcasting career as a television director and broadcast consultant, directing Sky News' panel programme The Pledge. Before joining Sky, he had a long-term position as a senior director at CNBC International. He was also the senior director for Five News and OK TV for seven years prior to his role at CNBC, as well as a stint with ITV studios. The pair mutually decided to not have children due to their prosperous careers. Speaking to The Times, Naga previously shared her thoughts on the life choice. She said: "We never tried and I never miscarried, we just never really wanted them. We kept putting the decision off, then life got better for us, we became more selfish . . . and just didn't find the time." She also addressed strong opinions others had about her choice, telling The Sun that she was branded "wicked" for "denying" her mother of grandchildren, adding: "It's quite interesting, isn't it, how people react?" Naga also discussed why she thinks the conversations surrounding women deciding to not have kids have changed in recent years. She said: "Once-up-on-a-time it used to be thought that if you had a career you were being selfish because you were just focusing on the career. "I don't think that is the attitude now. "Now it is just too hard, it's too expensive with childcare, and (lack of) flexibility in workplace. It is hard. "I am not saying you shouldn't have children, but there are more barriers to having children enjoyably." Naga has also candidly opened up about her health issues due to adenomyosis, which is a gynaecological condition that sees the lining of the womb grow into the muscular wall. The presenter suffered with painful heavy bleeding, fainting, vomiting and severe aching every two and a half weeks for 32 years before she finally received a private medical diagnosis of adenomyosis. Naga now takes medication "to suppress the production of my hormones" which helps with the symptoms she struggled with.

Nicole Scherzinger too busy to marry
Nicole Scherzinger is too busy to get married. The 46-year-old singer has been engaged to Thom Evans for two years but she has been too dedicated to her "dream role" in Sunset Boulevard in London's West End and then New York's Broadway to do any wedding planning. Asked about her wedding plans, she told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "Oh, there's no wedding planning, honey. When you do Broadway, it's only Broadway. You eat, sleep – you don't sleep much – and breathe Broadway. "Thank God I have a very understanding and wonderful and the most supportive fiancé." And even after her current run on Broadway comes to an end, Nicole admitted she will be looking for another stage show. She said: "I still want to do more. This moment has made me dream again. Growing up as a Filipino girl, I always loved Miss Saigon. I would love to be a part of that show. Aurora in Kiss of the Spider Woman is another dream role. Another is to maybe create my own musical." The former Pussycat Dolls singer also has her eye out for a "bold and daring" role on the big screen. She said: "I'd love some really bold and daring film roles. "I'd love to do a movie musical – maybe Sunset Boulevard as a movie. More than anything, I want to keep on doing stuff that shows all of me." The Poison hitmaker admitted last summer she would need to "make time" in order to start a family with Thom. She told The Times newspaper: "Oh my gosh, I would love to [have a baby]. I've never shied away from that. I can't wait. It's like the clock is ticking. "I want to have a baby but work calls. But I'm going to have to make time because, yes, I cannot wait to have children." When asked if her mom is pushing her to get on with starting a family, she replied: "No, because my mother knows how hard I work and how passionate I am about what I do. She is a faithful woman and she just knows, everything in God's timing." Thom previously declared proposing to Nicole was the 'best day' of his life and he 'can't wait' to get married and start a family with the singer. He told Men's Health magazine: 'I'm looking to get married soon. I proposed to my fiancée in June 2023. It was one of the best days of my life. Getting married to her and starting a family is something I can't wait for."
