The Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix will be the fourth race of the year, taking place from April 10th to 12th at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir. Calendar continuity Formula 1 and the FIA released the 2026 season lineup yesterday, confirming that the Kingdom will again host the fourth round of the championship, identical to its 2025 calendar position. The season will begin in Australia on March 6th, followed by China and Japan, before heading to Bahrain. With 24 races scheduled for the season, Bahrain remains the anchor of the sport's Middle East presence, leading into Jeddah's race the following weekend and culminating in Abu Dhabi in December. High demand expected Coming off another full-house event in 2025, BIC has opened a registration portal for fans eager to get early access to 2026 tickets. A new priority window will give early registrants the first opportunity to secure the best seats before official ticket sales are launched. Madrid joins calendar The only major change in next year's calendar is the addition of Madrid, which will host its first race from September 11th to 13th. Bahrain will host the fourth round of the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship, following the release of next season's official calendar by Formula 1 and the FIA. The Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2026 is scheduled to take place from April 10 to 12 at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir. The Kingdom retains its position on the calendar for a second consecutive year, with the season set to kick off in Australia (March 6–8), followed by China (March 13–15) and Japan (March 27–29) before arriving in Bahrain. The race will then be followed by the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah (April 17–19). The 2026 season will feature 24 races, with Madrid joining the calendar as a new addition from September 11 to 13, and the season concluding in Abu Dhabi (December 4–6).
