Isle of Man Mountain Road to close for removal of two-way signage
A section of a major route connecting the Manx capital with the north is set to close for the removal of two-way signage. The A18 Mountain Road, from Ramsey Hairpin to the Gooseneck is set to be shut from 09:30 to 12:30 BST. The Department of Infrastructure has said that emergency access would be maintained at all temporary reminder signage was put in place last week as the route reverted back to two ways following the TT period. First introduced for the centenary of the TT races in 2007, the one-way system was designed to reduce the risk of head-on collisions on open public roads during the two-week event. Liana Buonanno of Gooseneck Vineyards discusses business expansion
EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Liana Buonanno, president and CEO of Gooseneck Vineyards, appeared as a guest Thursday on Spotlight New England. Buonanno, originally from Latvia, transitioned from banker to wine expert after marrying into a third-generation wine-making family. She partnered with her husband's cousin, Paul Fede, to grow Gooseneck from a small spot in downtown Wickford to a large refurbished barn off Route 1.
